  • Rangers' Alexis Lafreniere: Goal streak at four games, seven snipes

Lafreniere scored twice in a 4-1 victory over the Lightning on Tuesday night.

The snipes extended his goal streak to a career-best four games (seven goals) and his point streak to six games (10 points). Lafreniere's goals both came in the first, and his second stood as the winner. Surprisingly, his seven goals have him temporarily tied for second in the NHL. Lafreniere has two seasons of 57 points in his last three, and at 25, his draft pedigree has slipped a few notches. But he's talented and this could be a real step forward. Beware the bloated shooting percentage (38.9) -- his career average is 14.2, so the plummet is coming.

  • Mammoth's MacKenzie Weegar: Lights lamp in win

Weegar scored a goal on three shots, added three hits and blocked four shots in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Maple Leafs.

Weegar has two goals and no assists through seven games this season. The veteran defenseman continues to play a key role in the Mammoth's top four, but he's seen just traces of power-play time this year, which has a limiting effect on his offense. He's still a good source of non-scoring production with 13 shots on net, 25 hits, 24 blocked shots, 20 PIM and a plus-2 rating.

  • Mammoth's Vincent Trocheck: Tallies in Tuesday's win

Trocheck scored a goal on three shots, added two PIM and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Maple Leafs.

Trocheck started the year on the Mammoth's top line, but he's since been moved to center the second line. The 33-year-old's still getting used to his new teammates, earning two goals and one assist over seven contests. He's added 10 shots on net, 22 hits, five blocked shots, six PIM and a minus-2 rating. Trocheck should do enough overall to remain a productive part of a fantasy lineup, especially in formats that reward hits and PIM.

  • Dylan Guenther RW | UTA

Mammoth's Dylan Guenther: Two-point effort in win

Guenther scored a goal on two shots, added an assist, logged six PIM and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Maple Leafs.

Guenther had been limited to one assist over his previous four games. The 23-year-old winger's offense had been limited to his power-play success prior to Tuesday, so it's a positive sign to see him do some damage at even strength. He has four goals, four helpers, 24 shots on net, three hits, six PIM and a plus-1 rating across seven outings this season.

  • Mammoth's Mikhail Sergachev: One of each in Tuesday's win

Sergachev scored a shorthanded goal on two shots, added an assist and went plus-3 in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Maple Leafs.

Sergachev has gotten on the scoresheet in five of seven games so far, including a trio of multi-point efforts. The defenseman has two goals, seven assists, 17 shots on net, 10 blocked shots, six hits, six PIM and a plus-3 rating. Sergachev continues to offer a strong mix of production while seeing plenty of ice time as the Mammoth's top blueliner.

  • Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: Fends off Toronto

Vejmelka stopped 22 of 26 shots in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Maple Leafs.

It was far from his best performance of the season, but the Mammoth gave Vejmelka enough of a cushion to work with. The 30-year-old netminder has gone 4-1-0 on the year, adding a 2.46 GAA and an .895 save percentage across six games (five starts). He's a better target for wins than ratios in fantasy. Vejmelka and the Mammoth will have their hands full for the rest of the week as they tangle with the Oilers in a home-and-home set that begins in Edmonton on Thursday.

  • Flyers' Christian Dvorak: Goal in back-to-back games

Dvorak notched a goal Tuesday in a 3-2 shootout loss to Seattle.

Dvorak now has a goal in back-to-back games, but they're his first two snipes of the season. He has one assist to add to the mix in eight games. Dvorak needs to fire more pucks at the net -- he has recorded just nine this season (22.2 percent), which is light even for a playmaker like him. Last year, he ripped 151. Dvorak is skating on the Flyers top line, but he's far better suited in the middle six, excelling as a shutdown pivot on line three. So far, his magic chemistry with Trevor Zegras from last season has dried up, and the Flyers have set an all-time low with eight losses to start the season. Bench him or cast him aside. He'll hang like an anchor around your neck.

  • Owen Martin C | WPG

Jets' Owen Martin: Two of each Tuesday

Martin scored twice and added two assists in WHL Spokane's 7-1 win over Everett on Tuesday.

Martin didn't make his season debut until Oct. 2, and it took a little time for him to get into a groove. He's there now, with eight points over five contests, including six points over his last two. The Jets prospect has yet to sign his entry-level deal, leaving his options open for 2027-28 as he continues his development.

  • Senators' Fabian Zetterlund: Cuts big deficit with goal

Zetterlund scored a power-play goal and fired four shots on net in Tuesday's 7-2 loss to the Blues.

Zetterlund refused to bow out of Tuesday's landslide loss without a fight, as he tallied a power-play goal with just under 90 seconds remaining in the contest. The goal was his first of the 2026-27 season, where he has compiled three points, 14 shots on net and 19 hits across seven games. While Zetterlund's ceiling in fantasy is slightly impacted by his role on the Senators' fourth line, he should continue to see time on the team's second power-play unit, which is a boost to his already solid value in deep banger leagues. Expect him to contend for 30 points once again in the 2026-27 campaign.

  • Claude Giroux RW | OTT

Senators' Claude Giroux: Deposits goal in loss

Giroux tallied a goal and put two shots on net in Tuesday's 7-2 loss to St. Louis.

Giroux tallied the lone goal of the first two periods for Ottawa, where he brought the team within one goal before things got out of hand. The 38-year-old forward's tally Tuesday was his first goal of the new season, where he now has five points, 10 shots on net, a plus-six rating and eight hits across seven appearances. He should remain heavily involved for the Senators from his spot on the team's secondary power-play unit and middle-six role at even strength. Expect the 19-year NHL veteran to challenge for the 50-point mark in the 2026-27 campaign after falling one point shy of the threshold a season ago. Giroux is currently a solid streaming option in deep, category-based fantasy leagues.
