  • Predators' Alex Kerfoot: Lights lamp Tuesday

Kerfoot scored a goal on three shots and blocked four shots in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Islanders.

Kerfoot ended a six-game point drought with the tally. The 32-year-old forward has been shuffled around the lineup and between center and wing spots, showcasing his versatility as well as his defensive skills. Kerfoot is up to two goals, three assists, 12 shots on net, 13 blocks, nine hits and a minus-4 rating over 12 outings. If his offense gets hot, he'll be a streaming option in deeper fantasy formats, but it's unlikely he stays as the Predators' second-line center for the long run.

  • Islanders' Anthony Duclair: Tallies opening goal

Duclair scored a goal on two shots and added two PIM in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Predators.

Duclair has firmed up his place in the lineup with two goals and two assists over his last five outings. He's playing on the third line and second power-play unit. For the season, the veteran winger has five points, 14 shots, eight PIM and a minus-3 rating over 12 appearances.

  • Oilers' Mattias Ekholm: Set to return Wednesday

Ekholm (undisclosed) is expected to play Wednesday versus Calgary, per Jason Gregor of Sports 1440.

Ekholm missed Edmonton's past two games because of the injury. He has a goal, three points, 16 PIM, five hits and eight blocks in 10 appearances this season. Jake Walman, who has averaged just 14:45 of ice time this campaign, is projected to be a healthy scratch Wednesday.

  • Tyler Myers D | DAL

Stars' Tyler Myers: Records assist in loss

Myers put up an assist in Tuesday's 5-1 loss to the Devils.

Myers has played regularly in a bottom-four role to start the season. He is not involved on the power play for the Stars. The defenseman's helper was his first point of the season to go with seven shots on net, 21 blocked shots, eight hits and six PIM over 12 outings.

  • Stars' Colin Blackwell: Nabs assist in loss

Blackwell logged an assist in Tuesday's 5-1 loss to the Devils.

Blackwell has played in a bottom-six role this season as the Stars manage a handful of injuries to forwards. The helper was his first point in 10 appearances. The 33-year-old has added 13 shots on net, 18 hits and a minus-3 rating. Blackwell's playing time won't be challenged until the Stars get healthier, but he's not a player to consider in most fantasy formats.

  • Stars' Justin Hryckowian: Scores again in loss

Hryckowian scored a goal and blocked three shots in Tuesday's 5-1 loss to the Devils.

Hryckowian has tallied in consecutive games to get his offense rolling on the year. The 25-year-old continues to fill a bottom-six role and mixes in on the second power-play unit. He has two tallies, 14 shots on net, 22 hits and two PIM across 12 appearances.

  • Devils' Johnny Kovacevic: Grabs first point of season

Kovacevic notched an assist and three hits in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Stars.

The helper was Kovacevic's first point in seven games. The 29-year-old defenseman has filled a bottom-four role since he made his debut Oct. 13 against the Red Wings after recovering from a minor knee procedure in the offseason. He has added six shots on net, eight hits, five blocked shots, seven PIM and a minus-2 rating. Kovacevic is unlikely to produce enough offense to get on the radar in fantasy.

  • Devils' Jesper Boqvist: Buries goal in win

Boqvist scored a goal on two shots, added two hits and blocked two shots in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Stars.

Boqvist has chipped in decent offense from the bottom six since he entered the lineup Oct. 6 versus the Mammoth. The 27-year-old is up to four goals, two assists, 16 shots on net, 11 hits and a plus-4 rating over 10 appearances. He won't scored at this pace all season -- he's never had more than 12 goals or 23 points in a campaign.

  • Pavel Zacha C | BOS

Bruins' Pavel Zacha: Scores lone goal in loss

Zacha scored a power-play goal on two shots in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Hurricanes.

Zacha scored 1:31 into the game, but Pyotr Kochetkov wouldn't give up another goal after that. The 29-year-old Zacha had gone four games without scoring, though he had four assists in that span. He's up to three goals, five helpers, 20 shots on net and a plus-5 rating through 12 appearances this season. Zacha had a career-high 65 points in 78 regular-season outings last year, so a high level of offense is to be expected, especially while he's in a top-six role.

  • Jackson Blake RW | CAR

Hurricanes' Jackson Blake: Tallies in Tuesday's win

Blake scored a goal on four shots, added four PIM and doled out two hits in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Bruins.

Blake has two goals and four assists during his four-game point streak. The 23-year-old winger is up to three goals, 11 helpers, 42 shots, eight PIM and a plus-9 rating over 14 appearances this season. With a steady top-six role and power-play time, Blake is thriving, especially considering his 7.1 shooting percentage so far this year is noticeably lower than his first two campaigns. The point-per-game pace might not stick, but he's poised for another step up.
