  • Predators' Justin Barron: Secures one-year deal

Barron signed a one-year, $1.575 million contract with Nashville on Monday.

Barron contributed nine assists, 31 shots on goal, 60 blocked shots and 37 hits in 52 appearances for the Predators during the 2025-26 regular season. He will compete for a depth role with Nashville's blue line during training camp.

  • Predators' Mavrik Bourque: Signs six-year deal

Bourque signed a six-year, $33 million contract with the Predators on Saturday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

Bourque was traded to Nashville on Wednesday to help Dallas free up potential cap space. The 24-year-old is now locked in as part of the Predators' young core. He had 20 goals, 21 assists, 147 shots on net, 78 hits and a plus-6 rating over 82 regular-season appearances in 2025-26. Look for Bourque to fill a middle-six role with his new team.

  • Predators' Chase Bradley: Pens two-year deal

Bradley signed a two-year, two-way contract with Nashville on Friday.

Bradley was part of the five-player deal between the Preds and Avs that included Jack Drury. The 24-year-old Bradley figures to spend the bulk of the upcoming campaign in the minors with AHL Milwaukee, but he could be called up as needed due to injuries among the Nashville forward group.

  • Predators' Hunter Skinner: Signs with Nashville

Skinner signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Predators on Wednesday, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.

Skinner got his first taste of NHL action with the Blues in 2025-26 against Philadelphia on Nov. 14. He recorded seven goals, 12 assists and 61 PIM across 60 regular-season appearances with AHL Springfield last year. He will likely spend most of his time in the minors in the 2026-27 campaign.

  • Predators' Jack Ahcan: Secures two-year deal

Ahcan agreed to terms on a two-year, two-way contract with Nashville on Wednesday, David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period reports.

Ahcan will face an uphill battle when it comes to securing a spot on the Predators' blue line. The 29-year-old played in just 11 regular-season games for Colorado in 2025-26, notching two assists, six hits and eight shots. Even if he does make Nashville's roster out of training camp, Ahcan doesn't offer enough offensive upside or category coverage to be worth taking in most fantasy formats.

  • Predators' Alex Kerfoot: Secures two-year deal

Kerfoot penned a two-year, $7 million contract with Nashville on Wednesday, Darren Dreger of TSN reports.

Kerfoot played in a mere 34 games for the Mammoth last year, tallying seven goals and six helpers. If he can stay healthy, the 31-year-old center has the ability to get back over the 30-point threshold, a mark he failed to hit in each of the last two years.

  • Predators' Ilya Lyubushkin: Traded Wednesday

Lyubushkin and Mavrik Bourque were acquired by Nashville from Dallas on Wednesday in exchange for a 2027 second-round pick and a 2028 third-round selection, per Pierre LeBrun of TSN.

Lyubushkin had a goal, nine points, 40 PIM, 68 hits and 90 blocks in 53 regular-season appearances with the Stars in 2025-26. He'll be competing for a third-pairing spot with Nashville, but he might end up being the team's seventh blueliner, which would lead to him regularly serving as a healthy scratch.

  • Predators' Mavrik Bourque: Traded to Nashville

Bourque and Ilya Lyubushkin were traded to the Predators from the Stars on Wednesday in exchange for a 2027 second-round pick and a 2028 third-round pick, Pierre LeBrun of TSN reports.

After making 73 regular-season appearances for Dallas in 2024-25, Bourque appeared in every regular-season game for the Stars last year, racking up 20 goals, 21 assists, 78 hits, 22 PIM and 21 blocked shots while averaging 15:29 of ice time. He carved out some time on the power play with the Stars and will attempt to continue his development with a change of scenery ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.

  • Predators' Nils Hoglander: Sent to Music City

Hoglander (undisclosed) was acquired by Nashville on Monday from Vancouver in exchange for a 2029 third-round pick.

Hoglander becomes the latest addition to general manager Chris MacFarland's reshaped Predators roster, and free agency is still a few days away. The 25-year-old Hoglander was limited to just 38 regular-season games in 2025-26, generating two goals and three assists along the way. If he can get back to being the 2023-24 version of himself, Hoglander could push for the 20-goal and 40-point thresholds this year.

  • Predators' Jack Drury: Inks five-year contract

Drury signed a five-year, $22.5 million contract with Nashville on Sunday, PuckPedia reports.

Drury generated 10 goals, 27 points, 99 shots on net, 56 blocked shots and 46 hits in 82 regular-season games for Colorado in 2025-26. The Predators acquired Drury, Chase Bradley and a 2029 third-round pick from the Avalanche on Wednesday in exchange for Fedor Svechkov and Zachary L'Heureux.

  • Predators' Jakub Floris: Picked by Nashville in Round 4

Floris was the 106th overall pick by Nashville in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft on Saturday.

Although born in Slovakia, Floris has spent the past two years playing for the Luuko program in Finland. A tall (6-foot-3), rangy defender, he's generated a bunch of offense at the junior level and should see some playing time in Finland's top league this coming season. The main question here is whether Floris' offense will carry over to higher levels. He doesn't offer much from a physical standpoint, and his mobility is just average, so there isn't a ton to fall back upon should things go sideways. Floris, who has played in numerous international tournaments in the past, should be a key part of Slovakia's World Junior team.

  • Predators' Adam Edstrom: Headed to Smashville in trade

Edstrom has been traded from the Rangers to Nashville on Saturday in exchange for Massimo Rizzo and the No. 148 pick in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft.

Edstrom is a 6-foot-7, 232-pound behemoth who appeared in 35 games for the Rangers last season. He had three goals, five points, 31 shots on net, 22 blocked shots and 65 hits in 2025-26 while averaging just 9:28 of ice time per contest. He will compete for a fourth-line role with Nashville in the 2026-27 campaign.

  • Predators' Dmitri Borichev: Stolen by Preds in Round 3

Borichev was the 70th overall pick by Nashville in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft on Saturday.

Russian goaltenders have seemingly been flying up the draft rankings in recent years, and Borichev is the latest example. Fresh off a season in the junior MHL, in which he posted a 2.25 GAA and .929 save percentage in 24 games, Borichev has plenty of physical traits which should translate down the line. He moves very well for a 6-foot-2 kid, with above-average awareness and athleticism. History tells us these types of draft picks typically marinate overseas for several years before arriving stateside. Borichev, who didn't turn 18 years of age until a week before the draft, is a quality long-term upside play for Nashville.

  • Predators' Tommy Bleyl: High-upside steal at 31st in draft

Bleyl was the 31st overall pick by Nashville in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft on Friday.

Bleyl is a smooth two-way transition defender with a whole lot of skill. He finished as the top-scoring blueliner in the QMJHL with 13 goals and 81 points in 63 regular-season games in 2025-26. And he finished third overall in playoff scoring with 28 points in 21 games. Bleyl looks so effortless and cool with the puck that it's hard not to imagine him earning a top-four role and QB1 gig, too. Bleyl isn't very physical -- he uses his mobility and IQ to manage guys in his own zone. But he'll be hard-pressed to deal with 6-foot-4 forwards if he doesn't grow the snarl part of his game a bit. Bleyl's development curve will be slow -- he's heading back to Moncton for 2026-27 and has committed to Michigan State for 2027-28. But Nashville has had a solid track record of developing defensemen, and Bleyl is a steal this late in the first round.

  • Predators' Wyatt Cullen: Picked 10th overall at Entry Draft

Cullen was the 10th overall pick by Nashville in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft on Friday.

Cullen's growth spurt, both his body and his game, has been nothing short of remarkable. He went from 5-foot-8 and 146 pounds to 6-foot-1 and 180, and his puck skills also shot up. Cullen has great hands, strong hockey IQ and is very creative. He suffered through injuries in 2025-26, mostly because his body was growing so fast. His bloodlines are outstanding -- his dad Matt played more than 1,500 NHL games and won three Stanley Cups. But Matt did it in the bottom six. Wyatt projects as a finesse middle-six winger who spends several seasons on the second line. And he can help on the power play. He needs to develop a bit more grit to truly thrive in the NHL, but that should come. He's one of the youngest guys in this draft class, and his growth is only going to continue.

  • Predators' Chase Bradley: Traded Wednesday

Bradley was traded along with Jack Drury and a 2029 third-round pick to Nashville from Colorado on Wednesday in exchange for Fedor Svechkov and Zachary L'Heureux, Pierre LeBrun of TSN reports.

Bradley had nine goals, 12 points and 46 PIM in 42 regular-season appearances with AHL Colorado in 2025-26. He also had five goals and 10 points in 17 playoff outings with the minor-league squad. The 24-year-old might get a serious look during training camp, but he's likely to start 2026-27 in the minors.

  • Predators' Jack Drury: Heading to Music City

Drury was traded along with Chase Bradley and a 2029 third-round pick to Nashville from Colorado on Wednesday in exchange for Fedor Svechkov and Zachary L'Heureux, per Pierre LeBrun of TSN.

Drury had 10 goals, 27 points, 31 PIM and 46 hits in 82 regular-season appearances with the Avalanche in 2025-26. The 26-year-old is likely to center either the third or fourth line in Nashville.

  • Predators' Isak Posch: Involved in trade

Nashville acquired Posch and Ross Colton from Colorado on Tuesday in exchange for Magnus Chrona, a 2026 third-round pick and a 2027 third-round pick.

Posch posted a 15-8-5 record with a 2.78 GAA and an .891 save percentage over 28 regular-season appearances with AHL Colorado in 2025-26. He is under contract through the 2026-27 campaign, and he will probably spend most of the year in the minors.

  • Predators' Ross Colton: Dealt to Music City

Colton and Isak Posch were traded to Nashville from Colorado in exchange for Magnus Chrona, a 2026 third-round pick and a 2027 third-round pick.

Colton will suit up for his former Central Division rival in the 2026-27 campaign following his move to the Predators. Earlier in June, Nashville named Chris MacFarland the team's new President of Hockey Operations, who spent four years in Colorado before taking his new gig. Across 73 regular-season games in 2025-26, Colton compiled nine goals, 15 assists, 153 shots on net, 159 hits and 25 blocked shots. He'll likely slot into a middle-six role for the Predators, who were in need of forward depth after another season where they missed the playoffs. Colton's toughness could help fill the hits gap that Michael McCarron left behind after Nashville traded their former alternate captain away at the 2026 trade deadline.

  • Predators' Felix Nilsson: Inks entry-level deal

Nilsson signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Predators on Friday.

Nilsson had 14 goals, 40 points and 14 PIM in 52 regular-season outings in 2025-26 with Rogle BK of the Swedish Hockey League. The 20-year-old was selected with the No. 43 overall pick in the 2023 NHL Draft. Nilsson might benefit from starting 2026-27 in the minors to focus on his development, but he should at least be a legitimate contender for an Opening Night roster spot with the Predators.
