  • Rickard Rakell RW | PIT

Penguins' Rickard Rakell: Picks up pair of points

Rakell scored a goal on two shots, added an assist and went plus-3 in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Canadiens.

Rakell's resurgence continued despite the loss. He's scored in four of the last five games and has a total of six points in that span. The 33-year-old is up to four goals, four assists, 35 shots on net, 16 hits, 12 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over 14 appearances. As long as Rakell stays on the top line, he should be able to provide good scoring numbers and a bit of all-around production.

  • Max Sasson C | VAN

Canucks' Max Sasson: Nets goal, has sights on 20 this year

Sasson scored a goal Saturday in a 4-2 loss to Toronto.

It was his fourth of the season. Sasson has four goals, two assists, 17 shots, 12 blocks, 10 PIM and eight hits. The fourth-liner is heading toward a career high in goals and points, but there isn't enough other category coverage to make a potential 20-goal guy worthy of rostering.

  • Penguins' Erik Karlsson: Racks up three points in loss

Karlsson scored a power-play goal on four shots and added two assists in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Canadiens.

Karlsson scored for the second game in a row and earned his fourth multi-point effort of the campaign. The 36-year-old defenseman is showing no signs of slowing down this season. He's up to three goals, 13 assists, 25 shots on net, eight blocked shots and a minus-2 rating across 14 appearances. Keep him in fantasy lineups -- the Penguins are struggling, but Karlsson is heavily involved in the offense this year.

  • Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Makes some history Saturday

Crosby scored a goal on two shots, dished two assists, added two PIM and went plus-3 in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Canadiens.

The first helper was Crosby's 1,112th in his career, setting the NHL record for most assists with one franchise. He added a late goal to earn the 1,771st point of his career, which has him tied for sixth all-time with Marcel Dionne. Even accounting for a somewhat slow start to the year, Crosby has a reasonably good chance to enter the top five by the end of the season. He needs 28 more points to pass Ron Francis for that position. Through 14 contests this year, Crosby has four goals, six helpers, 27 shots on net, eight hits, six blocked shots, six PIM and a minus-5 rating.

  • Brock Boeser RW | VAN

Canucks' Brock Boeser: Five points in last four games

Boeser scored a power-play goal in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.

Boeser took a perfect pass inside his own zone and took off on a first-period breakaway, getting Anthony Stolarz to bite on a fake shot before pulling the puck around the helpless netminder and going roof. It was his fifth goal this season. Boeser has five points, including three goals, and nine shots in his last four games and 13 points (five goals, eight assists) in 16 games on the season. He's already minus-9 overall and appears well on his way to matching his abysmal minus-48 last season. That's a heavy anchor for a near 70-point skater.

  • Penguins' Sergei Murashov: Can't snap skid in Montreal

Murashov stopped 22 of 27 shots in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Canadiens.

Murashov backed up Arturs Silovs for four straight games, but the time off didn't help the young goalie reset. This was the second start in a row where Murashov has allowed five goals. He's 0-4-1 with a 3.83 GAA and an .871 save percentage over five starts this season. The Penguins seem content to let Murashov learn on the job, especially since Joel Blomqvist is going through his own struggles in the AHL with a 3.41 GAA and .864 save percentage over five games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Expect Silovs to be back in goal versus the Golden Knights on Tuesday, but Murashov could get a look when the Penguins open their next road trip with a back-to-back in Southern California.

  • Arber Xhekaj D | MON

Canadiens' Arber Xhekaj: Gets on scoresheet with assist

Xhekaj registered an assist and two hits in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Penguins.

Xhekaj has filled a third-pairing role for much of the season. This was his first point in 13 outings to go with seven shots on net, 19 hits, nine blocked shots, 18 PIM and an even plus-minus rating. Xhekaj's playing time will be relatively safe as long as Mike Matheson (lower body) is sidelined, which is expected to be at least two weeks. Xhekaj can be helpful in banger leagues but isn't a factor in standard fantasy formats.

  • Lane Hutson D | MON

Canadiens' Lane Hutson: Delivers pair of helpers

Hutson notched two assists, four blocked shots and a plus-4 rating in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Penguins.

This was Hutson's first multi-point effort since Oct. 14 versus the Capitals. The 22-year-old defenseman has three helpers over his last two contests and continues to offer steady offense from the blue line. He's up to 13 points (three goals, 10 assists) with 25 shots on net, 21 blocked shots, six PIM and a plus-8 rating over 14 appearances this season. He's earned just two of his points on the power play this year after having 20 power-play points in the 2025-26 regular season, so he could still kick it up a notch.

  • Maple Leafs' Darren Raddysh: Confidence growing with new team

Raddysh tallied an assist Saturday in a 4-2 win over Vancouver.

He had two hits and two shots, and he had two more shots blocked. Raddysh seems to be starting to feel much more at home on the blue line, and he's starting to wind up and wire a lot more shot attempts at opposing netminders. Raddysh as a serious shooting option opens up the ice for all of the Maple Leafs. He has four assists, including two on the power play, in his last four games after dishing five in his first 12 games.

  • Canadiens' Oliver Kapanen: Tallies in win over Penguins

Kapanen scored a goal on two shots, added two PIM and blocked two shots in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Penguins.

The goal was Kapanen's first point of the season. The 23-year-old center has been shuffled around the lineup at times this season -- he worked on the fourth line in this contest. He has picked up 10 shots on net, three hits, three blocked shots, six PIM and a plus-1 rating through seven appearances. Kapanen's spot in the lineup should be safe for as long as Nick Suzuki (upper body) is out of action.
