  • Senators' Linus Ullmark: Leaves game after collision in crease

Ullmark (undisclosed) departed Monday's 4-1 win over the Bruins after tweaking something, though head coach Travis Green said the netminder was pulled from the game for precautionary reasons, Bruce Garrioch of Postmedia reports.

Ullmark stopped all 10 shots he faced before being replaced by Samuel Ersson at the start of the third period. The 33-year-old Ullmark was nicked up after a collision in the blue paint with Boston's JJ Peterka. Green said postgame that Ullmark will continue to be evaluated. Ottawa will continue its road trip in the second half of a back-to-back Tuesday in Detroit. Ullmark should be considered questionable, at best, for that matchup at this time, but it would not be surprising to see Ersson draw the start Tuesday.

  • Oilers' Jason Dickinson: Nearing return to lineup

Dickinson (foot) is working his way toward full health and might make his season debut in Anaheim on Wednesday, per Jamie Umbach of the Oilers' official site.

Dickinson skated between Trent Frederic and Kasperi Kapanen on the second line during Monday's practice, which is a good indication that Dickinson is closing on being ready to suit up in a game. According to Umbach, Dickinson's teammates and head coach Mike Babcock are hoping the 31-year-old center will be ready for Wednesday's road divisional matchup against the Ducks. Dickinson will certainly help the Oilers defensively once he's in the lineup, as Edmonton has struggled in its own zone to begin the year. The Ontario native missed the entirety of training camp, however, so it may take him a bit to get up to game speed.

  • Sharks' Macklin Celebrini: Late scratch for Monday's clash

Celebrini will miss Monday's road matchup against the Stars with a lower-body injury.

Celebrini took part in line rushes and the majority of warm-ups before he left the ice a few minutes early. Ultimately, the 20-year-old superstar deemed it was best to err on the side of caution early in the season and will sit out Monday. Prior to the injury news, he was off to a solid start to the 2026-27 campaign with five assists and nine shots on net across two outings. His status will be closely monitored over the coming days ahead of the Sharks' next contest on Thursday against the Blues.

  • Hurricanes' Juuso Valimaki: Brought up from minors

Valimaki was recalled from AHL Chicago on Monday, Cory Lavalette of the North State Journal reports.

Valimaki is set to serve as the Hurricanes' seventh defenseman while he's up from the minors. The 27-year-old hasn't played in the NHL since 2024-25, when he was with Utah, so it's unlikely he gets in the lineup unless there is an injury. Valimaki has accounted for two PIM and a minus-4 rating over two games to start the year with the Wolves.

  • Flyers' Rasmus Ristolainen: Slated to miss Monday's game

Ristolainen (undisclosed) is not expected to play in Tampa Bay on Monday, per Jackie Spiegel of The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Ristolainen was not on the ice pregame warmups, so it's safe to assume he won't be in Monday's lineup after being deemed a game-time call earlier in the day. Once the right-shot blueliner moves past his injury, Simon Benoit or David Jiricek will likely come out of the lineup. Philadelphia will continue its road trip in Ottawa on Thursday.

  • Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Leads Lightning onto ice

Vasilevskiy will defend the home crease in Monday's clash against the Flyers, per Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site.

After losing on Opening Night to the Rangers, Vasilevskiy bounced back in his most recent outing, which was a 20-save effort in Saturday's 3-1 win over Washington. The 32-year-old netminder currently holds a 1-1-0 record, a 2.59 GAA and an .889 save percentage across 45 shots on net between his two outings. However, the reigning Vezina Trophy winner has a favorable matchup Monday against the Flyers, who have lost all three of their games to begin the year. Vasilevskiy is poised to be an elite fantasy option Monday and beyond.

  • Blues' Alexey Toropchenko: Moves to IR

Toropchenko (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Monday, per the NHL media site.

Toropchenko was already expected to miss at least six weeks, so his IR placement won't impact his timeline. The move will give the Blues some roster flexibility, potentially for an AHL call-up.

  • Rangers' Matthew Robertson: Waived Monday

Robertson was designated for waivers by the Rangers on Monday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

Robertson hasn't played in any of the Rangers' first four games and the team finds itself in need of some forward depth. As such, it appears Robertson was the odd man out in the Big Apple. If he clears, the Edmonton native will be reassigned to AHL Hartford while another player, likely a center, is brought up to face the Islanders on Tuesday.

  • Flames' Brayden Pachal: Lands on waivers

Pachal was placed on waivers Monday, per Pat Steinberg of QR Calgary 770 AM.

Pachal has been a healthy scratch in three straight games to begin the 2026-27 campaign. He contributed one goal, six assists, 29 shots on net, 40 blocked shots and 89 hits in 39 regular-season appearances for the Flames in 2025-26.

  • Connor Zary C | CGY

Flames' Connor Zary: Waived by Calgary

Zary was placed on waivers by the Flames on Monday, Pat Steinberg of QR Calgary 770 AM reports.

Zary appeared in two of the Flames' first three regular-season games, recording no goals, an assist and a hit while averaging 13:38 of ice time. He made a career-high 74 regular-season appearances for the Flames last year and has recorded at least 25 goals in each of the past three seasons. The 25-year-old has appeared in 193 regular-season games at the NHL level and is a candidate to draw interest from other teams on the waiver wire.
