Head coach Paul Maurice said Friday that Marchand (leg) is expected to miss approximately six weeks, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Wood was recalled from AHL Toronto on Friday.
Wood was brought over from Columbus as part of the Kirill Marchenko trade but has yet to get into a game for the Leafs.
