Daniil Tarasov G | DET
Red Wings' Daniil Tarasov: Still sidelined
Tarasov (undisclosed) will not suit up for Monday's game in Edmonton, per the NHL media site.
Tarasov will miss his third straight game, and it's unclear if he is close to returning to the lineup. Michal Postava will make his first career NHL start Monday, while John Gibson will back him up. The Red Wings return home to host the Blackhawks on Thursday, so an update on Tarasov's status might come into focus by then.

Sergei Bobrovsky G | TOR
Maple Leafs' Sergei Bobrovsky: Drawing start in Calgary
Bobrovsky will be between the road pipes Monday against the Flames, according to David Alter of The Hockey News.
Bobrovsky has won back-to-back outings after starting the season with a 1-3-2 record. The veteran netminder has conceded at least three goals in all but one of his appearances this season, but he has a favorable matchup Monday against a Flames club that has generated just 2.30 goals per game in 2026-27, which is the third-worst mark in the league. Calgary is 3-3-0 on home ice so far, while Toronto is 3-1-1 on the road.

Darcy Kuemper G | LA
Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Set to face Rangers
Kuemper will patrol the road paint in Monday's clash against the Rangers, per Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site.
Kuemper has been turning his season around for the better over his past two outings, where he's made 71 saves on 75 shots on net en route to a pair of wins. Overall, the 36-year-old backstop has a 2-3-1 record, a 3.55 GAA and an .890 save percentage across six appearances. He's slated to face the Rangers at Madison Square Garden in James Reimer's first start for Monday's hosts. The Rangers enter Monday's clash 14th in the NHL with 3.15 goals per game, which should make for a close game. Regardless, Kuemper is a solid spot start in most fantasy formats given the lack of games Monday and his recent success.

Michal Postava G | DET
Red Wings' Michal Postava: Facing Oilers
Postava will guard the road goal against Edmonton on Monday, according to Jonathan Mills of the Red Wings' official site.
Postava will get his first NHL start after he made a relief appearance against Vancouver on Thursday. The 24-year-old netminder stopped seven of eight shots in a 5-2 win over the Canucks, but Edmonton will be a much stiffer test. The Oilers (8-2-1) lead the league with 4.36 goals per game this campaign. Postava has a 4-0-0 record, a 1.25 GAA and a .954 save percentage in four outings for AHL Grand Rapids this season.
-
Tristan Jarry G | EDM
Oilers' Tristan Jarry: Starting against Detroit
Jarry will start Monday's home game against the Red Wings.
Jarry started just four times over the Oilers' first 11 games of the season, going 2-1-1 with a 3.73 GAA and .851 save percentage. However, he's set to see additional playing time since Devon Levi (undisclosed) is expected to miss a few weeks after landing on injured reserve Friday. The Red Wings have logged 2.55 goals per game to begin the regular season, which is the seventh-worst mark in the league.

Connor Hellebuyck G | NJ
Devils' Connor Hellebuyck: Intends to play on road trip
Head coach Sheldon Keefe said Monday that Hellebuyck (not injury related) intends to play during the Devils' upcoming three-game road trip, Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site reports.
While Hellebuyck appears to be close to making his team debut, Keefe said that there are "several boxes they'll need to tick" before the Devils officially give the green light to their new netminder. If Hellebuyck is held out during New Jersey's back-to-back set that includes a game against Dallas on Tuesday and a matchup against Colorado on Wednesday, Jake Allen and Remi Poirier would likely handle goaltending duties for the Devils.

Logan Thompson G | WAS
Capitals' Logan Thompson: Practices Monday, still day-to-day
Thompson (lower body) participated in Monday's practice and remains day-to-day ahead of Wednesday's home matchup against Philadelphia, per Sammi Silber of The District Standard.
Thompson missed Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over Buffalo due to a lower-body injury, but he is making progress. He has posted a 4-3-0 record, 2.90 GAA and .901 save percentage in seven appearances this season. Thompson remains on injured reserve for now, and it's unclear when he will be available to return to the lineup. Charlie Lindgren will handle the No. 1 role for the Capitals until Thompson is healthy, and Mitchell Gibson will serve as the backup.

Jake Oettinger G | DAL
Stars' Jake Oettinger: Wins despite modest save total
Oettinger stopped 17 of 20 shots in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Islanders.
Oettinger earned his sixth victory of the season thanks to three unanswered third-period goals by Dallas. The veteran netminder has enjoyed an excellent start to the season, but Sunday's performance offered limited value in save-dependent fantasy formats, highlighting the occasional trade-off between win potential and individual efficiency. Oettinger remains one of the most trustworthy goaltending options, and through nine appearances he's gone 9-2-1 with an impressive 1.43 GAA and .930 save percentage.
-
Ilya Sorokin G | NYI
Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Allows six goals in road loss
Sorokin stopped 32 of 38 shots in Sunday's 6-3 loss to the Stars.
Sorokin endured a difficult outing and a heavy workload, finishing with an .842 save percentage while facing a red-hot Dallas team that won its fifth straight game. Dallas generated consistent offensive pressure and pulled away with three goals in the third period, leaving the Islanders unable to recover. The veteran netminder remains New York's primary option between the pipes, but performances like this can significantly damage his fantasy ratios even when he accumulates a respectable number of saves. Sorokin has made eight starts this season, going 5-3-0 with a 2.26 GAA and .919 save percentage, so there's a big chance this was just a subpar performance, and he'll look to bounce back the next time he's guarding the Isles' crease.
-
Akira Schmid G | FLA
Panthers' Akira Schmid: Makes 19 saves in road win
Schmid stopped 19 of 21 shots in Sunday's 3-2 win over Chicago.
Schmid posted a single-game save percentage above .900 for the first time this season, and this performance against a struggling opponent was enough to snap the Panthers' brief two-game losing streak. The netminder's most important contribution came late in the third period, when he denied Cole Smith on a breakaway and stopped the ensuing rebound to keep the game tied at 2-2. Schmid should remain the primary option between the pipes for Florida as long as Jacob Markstrom (upper body) is unavailable.
