Devin Cooley G | CGY
Flames' Devin Cooley: Tending twine Monday
Cooley will start Monday's home game against the Maple Leafs, Pat Steinberg of QR Calgary 770 AM reports.
Cooley has picked up wins in each of his last three outings, and he'll draw a fourth consecutive start Monday. During his three-game winning streak, the 29-year-old has posted a 1.33 GAA and .961 save percentage. The Maple Leafs are averaging 3.85 goals per game to begin the regular season, which ranks fifth in the NHL.

Spencer Knight G | CHI
Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Allows late winner Sunday
Knight stopped 30 of 33 shots in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Panthers.
Knight delivered a solid performance against his former team, bouncing back after allowing seven goals on 59 shots in losses to the Stars and Canadiens in his previous two outings, but Lars Eller's goal late in the third period ultimately decided the outcome. The 25-year-old netminder continues to face a challenging environment behind a struggling Chicago squad, and limited offensive support has restricted his win totals. Knight has dropped his last three decisions, going 2-4-0 with a 3.54 GAA and .891 save percentage while making six straight starts.

James Reimer G | NYR
Rangers' James Reimer: First goalie off Monday
Reimer was the first goalie off during Monday's morning skate, Vince Z. Mercogliano of The Athletic reports, indicating that he'll draw the home start against the Kings.
Reimer signed a contract with the Rangers on Sunday and is slated to make his team debut a day later. Dylan Garand initially served as the Rangers' primary netminder following Igor Shesterkin's season-ending knee injury, and Garand has gone 4-4-1 with a 2.65 GAA and .900 save percentage. Reimer brings a veteran presence to the Rangers and will likely have ample opportunities to carve out playing time.

Leevi Merilainen G | VAN
Canucks' Leevi Merilainen: No match for Wild
Merilainen allowed four goals on 34 shots in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Wild.
Merilainen again had to make 30-plus saves, but the Canucks' late-arriving offense didn't pull off a comeback. The 24-year-old is down to 1-3-1 with a 3.13 GAA and a .912 save percentage over eight games. Those numbers tell two stories -- one, that he's doing generally well against a lot of traffic, and two, that he's not getting much help from his teammates. Such is life on a rebuilding team. Merilainen and Kevin Lankinen have alternated starts lately, and if that pattern holds, it would be Lankinen in goal in Anaheim on Tuesday while Merilainen would be tasked with slowing down Macklin Celebrini and the Sharks on Thursday.

Calvin Pickard G | MIN
Wild's Calvin Pickard: Picks up first win
Pickard stopped 16 of 18 shots in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Canucks.
Pickard made his second appearance with the Wild and took advantage of a favorable matchup to earn his first win of the season. He has allowed seven goals on 43 shots this season. The 34-year-old netminder hasn't needed to work much, as Jesper Wallstedt is thriving in a starting role. The Wild don't have a back-to-back on the schedule over the next week, so Pickard will likely have to wait a while for another turn between the pipes.

Scott Wedgewood G | COL
Avalanche's Scott Wedgewood: Gives up six goals in loss
Wedgewood allowed six goals on 35 shots in Sunday's 6-2 loss to the Predators.
Wedgewood was blitzed by the Predators' power play, which cashed in four times. The 34-year-old goalie hasn't been able to recapture the magic from last year, going 1-2-1 with 14 goals allowed on 126 shots over his first four outings this season. Mackenzie Blackwood continues to be effective in a starting role and should see the majority of the games. Wedgewood will likely be back in the backup role against another one of his former teams when the Avalanche host the Devils on Wednesday.
-
Justus Annunen G | NSH
Predators' Justus Annunen: Defeats former team
Annunen stopped 19 of 21 shots in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Avalanche.
Annunen handled the second half of a back-to-back and delivered a good performance against a tough opponent. He was able to outplay the goalie he was traded for, Scott Wedgewood, to pick up his first win of the season. Annunen has given up eight goals on 52 shots over two starts, and he likely won't see a lot of playing time as Juuse Saros' backup. Expect Saros to get the nod for Tuesday's home game versus the Islanders.

Stuart Skinner G | WPG
Jets' Stuart Skinner: Narrow loss in Heritage Classic
Skinner allowed two goals on 21 shots in Sunday's 2-1 loss to the Canadiens in the Heritage Classic.
Skinner put in a decent effort, but he didn't get enough help from his teammates. This was a fourth straight defeat for Skinner, who is 0-2-2 with 10 goals allowed on 115 shots in that span. He's now 3-2-3 with a 2.60 GAA and a .911 save percentage through eight starts overall. These ratios are on the better end of his performances over the years -- it's unlikely to be sustainable in the long run. That said, Skinner has enough experience to maintain the starting role over both Nico Daws and Clay Stevenson unless he suffers a run of truly terrible performances. The Jets take things back indoors when they host the Panthers on Tuesday.
-
Jacob Fowler G | MON
Canadiens' Jacob Fowler: Shines in Heritage Classic
Fowler stopped 33 of 34 shots in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Jets in the Heritage Classic.
The outdoor lights weren't too bright for Fowler, who extended his winning streak to five games with a tight victory at Winnipeg's Princess Auto Stadium. This was his second start in a row allowing just one goal. He's quickly pushed Jakub Dobes into the backup role through strong play. Fowler is 5-1-0 with a 1.79 GAA and a .924 save percentage over six starts. He's the goalie of the future for the Canadiens, and it looks like the future is now. Montreal continues its road trip in St. Louis on Tuesday.

Justus Annunen G | NSH
Predators' Justus Annunen: Expected to face Colorado
Annunen is slated to start at home against Colorado on Sunday, per Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site.
Annunen made his first start of the season Thursday, stopping 25 of 31 shots en route to a 6-0 loss to Boston. He had a 10-12-2 record, 2.68 GAA and .906 save percentage in 28 regular-season outings with Nashville in 2025-26. Colorado ranks second in goals per game with 4.27 this season, so this figures to be a challenging assignment for Annunen.
