  • Oilers' Evan Bouchard: Dishes pair of helpers

Bouchard notched two assists, including one on the power play, and added two hits, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Kings.

This was Bouchard's fourth multi-point effort of the campaign. The 26-year-old has been arguably the best fantasy defenseman to start the season, earning six goals and eight assists across six contests. He's also racked up 18 shots on net, five hits, five blocked shots and a plus-14 rating. In the 2025-26 regular season, he earned 33 of his 95 points on the power play, but he's picked up just three of 14 points with the man advantage so far this year, which bodes well for sustainability.

  • Adam Fox D | NYR

Rangers' Adam Fox: Eight points in eight games so far

Fox delivered two apples in a 4-1 win over Tampa Bay on Tuesday. He blocked four shots.

Fox is off to a strong and steady start to 2026-27. He has eight assists, 15 blocks and six shots in eight games this season. Fox's average ice time (21:34) is down two minutes from last season (23:38), and that kind of drop (and rest) could be enough to keep him on the ice for a full season. He played just 55 games last season and the Rangers suffered without him patrolling the blue line.

  • Mammoth's MacKenzie Weegar: Lights lamp in win

Weegar scored a goal on three shots, added three hits and blocked four shots in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Maple Leafs.

Weegar has two goals and no assists through seven games this season. The veteran defenseman continues to play a key role in the Mammoth's top four, but he's seen just traces of power-play time this year, which has a limiting effect on his offense. He's still a good source of non-scoring production with 13 shots on net, 25 hits, 24 blocked shots, 20 PIM and a plus-2 rating.

  • Mammoth's Mikhail Sergachev: One of each in Tuesday's win

Sergachev scored a shorthanded goal on two shots, added an assist and went plus-3 in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Maple Leafs.

Sergachev has gotten on the scoresheet in five of seven games so far, including a trio of multi-point efforts. The defenseman has two goals, seven assists, 17 shots on net, 10 blocked shots, six hits, six PIM and a plus-3 rating. Sergachev continues to offer a strong mix of production while seeing plenty of ice time as the Mammoth's top blueliner.

  • Adam Jiricek D | STL

Blues' Adam Jiricek: Nets first NHL goal

Jiricek scored a goal and put three shots on net in Tuesday's 7-2 win over the Senators.

Jiricek picked up the first goal of his NHL career deep into Tuesday's clash, as he rifled a shot from distance that beat Ottawa's Samuel Ersson with just under four minutes remaining in the third period. The 20-year-old Jiricek's goal was also his first career NHL point, and he currently has 12 shots on net, six hits and four blocked shots across six appearances. While the young blueliner is still adjusting to the NHL level, his goal Tuesday could spark his offensive production throughout the rest of his rookie campaign. If he continues to play alongside Philip Broberg on St. Louis' top pairing, Jiricek will be a solid stash in dynasty-based fantasy leagues moving forward.

  • Kraken's Ville Ottavainen: Nets first NHL goal

Ottavainen scored a goal Tuesday in a 3-2 shootout win over the Flyers.

It was his first NHL goal; it came in his fourth contest this season. Ottavainen snapped a shot from the top of the circles through traffic that beat Dan Vladar. He plays a physical, defensive style that won't make him stand out in fantasy, but it could keep him on the ice in Seattle.

  • Wild's Jared Spurgeon: Sidelined versus Jets

Spurgeon (upper body) won't play Tuesday versus the Jets.

Minnesota's defense will be tested even more as Spurgeon is out. He had been filling in on the top pairing and second power-play unit for Brock Faber (skull). David Spacek is likely to get the call as the next blueliner in the lineup for this contest, while Spurgeon's status for Thursday versus the Blues remains up in the air.

  • Senators' Nikolas Matinpalo: No timeline for return

Matinpalo (upper body) won't play against St. Louis on Tuesday, and there is no timeline for his return, Bruce Garrioch of Postmedia reports.

Matinpalo suffered an upper-body injury in Monday's 4-1 win over New Jersey. He hasn't earned a point in six appearances this season, but he has posted four shots on net, eight blocked shots and four hits. Jorian Donovan will replace Matinpalo in Tuesday's lineup against the Blues.

  • Sabres' Matt Grzelcyk: Dealing with lower-body injury

Grzelcyk (lower body) suffered a "flare-up" and could be out for at least "a few days," head coach Lindy Ruff told Rachel Lenzi of The Buffalo News on Tuesday.

Buffalo placed Grzelcyk on injured reserve Tuesday. He hasn't played since Opening Night against Columbus on Oct. 1. With Rasmus Dahlin (upper body) and Grzelcyk unavailable, the Sabres recalled Dennis Gilbert from AHL Rochester to play against Montreal on Tuesday.

  • Colin Ralph D | STL

Blues' Colin Ralph: Returned to AHL

Ralph was assigned to AHL Springfield on Tuesday, per the NHL media site.

As expected, Ralph's temporary call-up was a salary-cap-related move by the Blues. St. Louis placed Torey Krug (ankle) on long-term reserve after bringing Ralph up from the minors.
