  • Oilers' Evan Bouchard: Nets winning goal in overtime

Bouchard scored a power-play goal on three shots and added a power-play assist in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Wild.

Bouchard celebrated his 27th birthday with his seventh goal of the season, converting the overtime winner after assisting on Leon Draisaitl's first-period power-play tally. The defenseman continues to provide elite offensive production from Edmonton's blue line, with 18 points through nine games. His prominent role on the Oilers' top power-play unit gives him an exceptionally high fantasy ceiling, particularly with Edmonton converting three of its five opportunities Tuesday. His consistency is almost unmatched as well, as he has cracked the scoresheeet in all but one of his nine appearances while posting five multi-point performances already.

  • Blues' Philip Broberg: Records GWG on power play

Broberg tallied a power-play goal, picked up an assist and unleashed six shots on net in Tuesday's 2-1 win over Winnipeg.

Broberg played the hero in Tuesday's contest, as he was involved in both of the Blues' goals, including the game-winning tally he buried on a power play midway through the second period. Overall, the 25-year-old blueliner is up to two goals, six points, 19 shots on net and nine blocked shots over nine appearances. In the past two games, he's been handed the keys to the first power-pay unit and thrived offensively, tallying three total points. Broberg appears to be on track for a career year, making him an excellent fantasy option to make a move for in leagues where he's available on waivers.

  • Cole Hutson D | WAS

Capitals' Cole Hutson: Notches power-play goal

Hutson recorded a power-play goal and placed three shots on net in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Kings.

Hutson doubled the Capitals' early lead with his tally at a man advantage late in the first period. With the power-play goal, the 20-year-old blueliner is up to five points, 22 shots on net, two power-play points, six hits and seven blocked shots across nine appearances. He appears to have been given the keys to the Caps' second power-play unit, which should help him stay relevant in fantasy from his third-line pairing at even strength. With nearly one hit and blocked shot per game in addition to his solid offensive contributions to open his first full season, Hutson holds a high ceiling in fantasy moving forward.

  • Kings' Erik Gustafsson: Buries first goal for LA

Gustafsson scored a goal and placed two shots on net in Tuesday's 5-2 win over Washington.

Gustafsson's tally was a rare one, as he recorded an unassisted, power-play goal by dangling through the Capitals' defense while taking the puck coast-to-coast. The twine finder was his first of the new season, where he currently has two points, six shots on net and three blocked shots across five outings. The 34-year-old defenseman has seen a small chunk of power-play time in each of his five appearances. He might not be a regular in the Kings' lineup, but the club seems to trust him enough on special teams and in the top pairing, which could lead to fantasy success later in the 2026-27 campaign.

  • Emil Andrae D | CLB

Blue Jackets' Emil Andrae: Gathers assist

Andrae logged an assist in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.

Andrae has played in five of the Blue Jackets' eight games so far. He is primarily competing with Carson Soucy for the last spot in the lineup. Andrae has two assists, four hits, five blocked shots and a plus-3 rating across five appearances this season.

  • Maple Leafs' Oliver Ekman-Larsson: Gets on scoresheet Tuesday

Ekman-Larsson notched an assist and three blocked shots in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Blue Jackets.

This was Ekman-Larsson's first point of the campaign. The 35-year-old defenseman had to log a season-high 23:20 of ice time after Jake McCabe (face) left the game in the first period. Ekman-Larsson has typically worked on the third pairing this season, adding five shots on net, 12 hits, nine blocked shots, 14 PIM and a minus-2 rating over 11 appearances. Given his slow start, it's unlikely he matches his 39-point total from 78 games last year.

  • Devils' Jonas Siegenthaler: Chips in with helper

Siegenthaler notched an assist and three hits in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Avalanche.

This was Siegenthaler's second assist in his last four games. The Swiss defenseman continues to fill a top-four role in a shutdown capacity. He's racked up two shots on net, six hits, 14 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating over nine appearances on the year.

  • Lightning's Victor Hedman: Deposits insurance tally

Hedman scored a goal on two shots, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Golden Knights.

Hedman's goal late in the second period was his second in the last three games. Over nine outings this season, he has added two assists, 13 shots on net, 13 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating. Hedman is playing a smaller role at age 35, working on the third pairing without much of a power-play assignment to speak. As such, his time as one of the league's top offensive defenseman has likely come to a close, though he should still be able to put up around 30 points if he stays healthy.

  • Lightning's John Carlson: Lights lamp in Tuesday's win

Carlson scored a goal on four shots and went plus-3 in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Golden Knights.

Carlson ended a four-game point drought with his first-period tally. The 36-year-old defenseman has done fairly well on offense to begin his Lightning tenure, racking up three goals and two assists over nine outings. He's added 27 shots on net, 11 blocked shots, eight hits and an even plus-minus rating over nine appearances. He should continue to fill a top-four role and receive power-play time.

  • Zeev Buium D | VAN

Canucks' Zeev Buium: Off to slow start

Buium notched an assist in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Hurricanes.

Buium came into the season with a fair amount of hype, especially after signing an eight-year extension in September. While that deal will likely age well in the future, the final season of his entry-level contract is off to an ugly start. Buium has just two assists with eight shots on net, nine blocked shots and a minus-7 rating over 11 appearances. He's spent the last week or so in a third-pairing role with a diminished power-play role. Fantasy managers in dynasty formats can afford to be patient with Buium, but he doesn't need to be universally rostered in redraft leagues at this time.
