Spencer Burford G | LV
49ers' Spencer Burford: Dodgers major injury
Burford avoided a high-ankle sprain after exiting Sunday's win over the Titans, David Lombardi of SFStandard.com reports.
Burford was able to play for most of the game but was forced to exit late. There was concern that he suffered a serious injury, though head coach Kyle Shanahan expects that Burford will be able to practice during the week leading up to Monday's matchup against the Colts.

Christian Darrisaw OT | MIN
Vikings' Christian Darrisaw: Hopeful to return this season
Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell said Monday that he's "hopeful" Darrisaw (knee) will retake the field during the final stretch of the regular season, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.
O'Connell called Darrisaw's injury "a week-to-week and day-to-day situation," making it difficult to ascertain an expected timetable for the standout left tackle's recovery. Darrisaw managed to play through his knee issue Week 14 but was unable to suit up Week 15 against the Cowboys after logging a DNP/DNP/LP practice slate. If he can't gain clearance for Sunday's game against the Giants, Justin Skule will stand to draw another start.

Davante Adams WR | LAR
Rams' Davante Adams: Deemed 'week-to-week'
Adams (hamstring) is considered week-to-week, placing his status in doubt for Thursday's game at Seattle, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Adams dealt with a hamstring issue in advance of each of the Rams' past two games, but he left Sunday's win against the Lions early after aggravating the issue. Coach Sean McVay told Stu Jackson of the team's official site afterward that Adams' status was uncertain for Week 16 but that he "certainly wouldn't rule him out quite yet." Rapoport's report adds a new layer to Adams' status, but the veteran wide receiver may need to practice in some capacity this week in order to suit up Thursday.

Yetur Gross-Matos DE | SF
49ers' Yetur Gross-Matos: Set to return to practice
Head coach Kyle Shanahan said Monday that Gross-Matos (hamstring) should return to practice ahead of the 49ers' Week 16 tilt against the Colts on Monday, Dec. 22, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.
Gross-Matos landed on injured reserve in early November due to knee and hamstring injuries, which have kept him sidelined since Week 5 against the Rams. His 21-day window to return from IR opened Thursday, but he'll likely have to log at least one full practice before being cleared to return.

Caleb Murphy LB | NYG
Caleb Murphy: Time up with Patriots
Murphy was waived by the Patriots on Monday.
Murphy has played with both the Patriots and Chargers this season, most recently seeing time exclusively on special teams. He should have a decent chance to catch on with a new team.

Cody Schrader RB | DEN
Broncos' Cody Schrader: Claimed by Denver
Schrader was claimed off waivers by the Broncos on Monday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official website reports.
Schrader was waived by the Texans on Saturday, and he has now found a new home in Denver after just two days. The running back last played in Week 1 with the Rams, failing to log any stats while playing four snaps on special teams. Schrader will provide the Broncos with an additional depth option behind RJ Harvey in the backfield.

Mario Edwards DT | HOU
Texans' Mario Edwards: Officially placed on IR
The Texans placed Edwards (pectoral) on injured reserve Monday.
Edwards suffered a season-ending torn pectoral muscle during Houston's 40-20 win over the Cardinals in Week 15, so his placement on IR is nothing short of expected. With the veteran defensive tackle now sidelined, expect Naquan Jones to operate as the Texans' top rotational option at defensive tackle behind starters Sheldon Rankins and Tommy Togiai.

Tatum Bethune LB | SF
49ers' Tatum Bethune: Slated to return to practice
Head coach Kyle Shanahan relayed Monday that he expects Bethune (ankle) to return to practice for Week 16 prep, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.
Bethune has missed the 49ers' last three game due to a right ankle sprain, but he appears to have progressed enough in his recovery to return to practice ahead of San Francisco's Week 16 tilt against Indianapolis on Monday, Dec. 22. The second-year linebacker was thrust into a starting role after Fred Warner (ankle - IR) suffered a season-ending injury in Week 6 against the Buccaneers, and it has been Curtis Robinson who has taken on the starting job in Bethune's absence.

Jordan Elliott DT | TEN
49ers' Jordan Elliott: Gearing up to practice
Elliott (knee) is expected to practice this week, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.
Elliott suffered an apparent knee injury prior to Sunday's win over the Titans, but it doesn't appear as if it's a long-term issue for the defensive lineman. He'll benefit from an additional day off ahead of the team's matchup with the Colts on Monday Night Football in Week 16, but his status at practice will be worth monitoring in the coming days.

Quinton Bell LB | MIA
Dolphins' Quinton Bell: Signed to Fins' active roster
The Dolphins signed Bell from the practice squad to the active roster ahead of Monday night's game against the Steelers.
Bell is now eligible to play for the Dolphins for the rest of the 2025 campaign after being elevated from the practice squad for the maximum of three times. He has one assisted tackle across three regular-season games, and he gives Miami more depth at linebacker and another contributor on special teams.
