  • Lamar Jackson QB | BAL

Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Minter optimistic about ankle injury

Head coach Jesse Minter said after Sunday's 24-18 win versus the the Titans that the Ravens are optimistic about the ankle issue that he suffered in the first half of the game, Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.

In particular, the team discussed allowing Jackson back into the contest but ultimately opted against it. He put up huge numbers before his exit at halftime, completing 15 of 20 passes for 222 yards and two touchdowns and taking two carries for 20 yards. As for Tyler Huntley, who replaced Jackson, he was a crisp 8-for-9 passing for 63 yards while rushing four times for 16 yards. Minter's comments seem to indicate Jackson will be fine for next Sunday's road matchup with the Falcons, but the QB's status will need to be watched this week to ensure as much.

  • Kyren Williams RB | LAR

Rams' Kyren Williams: Two late TDs in comeback win

Williams rushed 16 times for 80 yards and two touchdowns while catching 10 of 13 targets for 67 yards in Sunday's 24-20 win over the Eagles.

Williams led the team in targets and catches, finishing with one more of each than Puka Nacua, though Nacua racked up 125 receiving yards in his return from a hip injury. Nacua also scored the Rams' first touchdown on a two-yard run, but Williams proceeded to score twice in the final four minutes of the fourth quarter, with touchdown runs of one yard and seven yards to complete the Rams' comeback. Backup Blake Corum had just six touches, so Williams is locked in as the primary backfield option for the Rams ahead of a Week 5 home game against the Bills.

  • Kyle Monangai RB | CHI

Bears' Kyle Monangai: Tending to thumb issue

Coach Ben Johnson said after Sunday's 23-12 win against the Jets that Monangai suffered a thumb injury during the contest, Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reports.

Monangai ripped off 30 carries for 146 yards and two touchdowns to go with a four-yard catch on his only target in Week 4, while fellow RB D'Andre Swift notched 15 rushes himself for 58 yards and hauled in both of his targets for 16 yards. Perhaps the breakdown of RB touches among them is related to the knee injury that Swift tended to in advance of this game, but in any case Monangai now is dealing with a health concern of his own. The statuses of the two thus will bear monitoring as Chicago gears up for an NFC North road showdown with the Packers next Sunday.

  • Jets' Jarvis Brownlee: Doesn't return Sunday

Brownlee (concussion) did not return to Sunday's 23-12 loss to the Bears.

Brownlee exited the contest to be evaluated for a concussion and was replaced by rookie D'Angelo Ponds. If Brownlee can't suit up in Week 5 against the Browns, Ponds may be needed to fill the void in the slot.

  • D'Andre Swift RB | CHI

Bears' D'Andre Swift: Outplayed by Monangai in Week 4

Swift rushed 15 times for 58 yards and caught both of his targets for 16 yards in Sunday's 23-12 win over the Jets. He also lost a fumble.

Swift was stopped twice inside the 1-yard line on the opening drive, with the second stop resulting in a turnover on downs. Kyle Monangai got the goal-line opportunities on Chicago's next possession and punched in a one-yard touchdown. Swift also lost a fumble in the third quarter and watched Monangai dominate touches the rest of the way, as the latter finished with 146 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 30 carries. Both of Chicago's top two running backs are likely to play significant roles in Week 5 against Green Bay's shoddy run defense, assuming Monangai is able to play through the thumb injury he sustained during Sunday's win.

  • Eagles' Jonathan Greenard: Won't return Sunday

Greenard (ankle) won't return to Sunday's game against the Rams.

Greenard suffered an ankle injury and was initially listed as questionable to return. However, he has since been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's contest. Without Greenard on the field, Nolan Smith and Jalyx Hunt are in line for more defensive snaps the rest of the way.

  • Tank Bigsby RB | PHI

Eagles' Tank Bigsby: Exits Sunday's game

Bigsbu (undisclosed) left Sunday's game in the fourth quarter and went to the sideline tent, Jimmy Kempski of PhillyVoice.com reports.

In a contest in which Saquon Barkley was lost early due to a hamstring injury, Bigsby was the primary beneficiary before his own exit late, accounting for 55 yards on 14 carries. Will Shipley is the only healthy running back currently on the Eagles' active roster.

  • Eli Raridon TE | NE

Patriots' Eli Raridon: Questionable to return Sunday

Raridon (ankle) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against Buffalo.

Raridon didn't play in Week 3 against the Jaguars due to a hamstring injury. However, an ankle injury could mean he won't be back in Week 4. If Raridon can't return, Cameron Latu could see more work behind Hunter Henry.

  • Hunter Long TE | ARI

Cardinals' Hunter Long: Exits game with knee injury

Long (knee) is questionable to return against the Giants on Sunday.

In Long's absence, Elijah Higgins is the lone depth option at tight end behind Trey McBride. Long is being evaluated by medical staff to determine whether he can return to Sunday's game.

  • Patriots' Reggie Gilliam: Returns vs. Buffalo

Gilliam (ankle) has returned to Sunday's game against the Bills, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

Gilliam had to be carted off the field after sustaining an ankle injury. However, the veteran fullback passed the medical staff's tests and was back on the field for the second half.
