New Dolphins head coach Jeff Hafley said Achane (shoulder) has been cleared for the start of training camp, Alain Poupart of SI.com reports.

Achane dealt with a shoulder issue over the spring and was limited to individual drills at mandatory minicamp, but Hafley indicated his star running back has passed the conditioning test and will not open camp on the active/PUP list. Achane inked a four-year, $64 million extension with Miami earlier in the offseason and is once again expected to be the focal point of the offense after totaling 1,838 yards and 12 touchdowns from scrimmage across 16 regular-season games in 2025.

Coach Mike McCarthy said Tuesday that the Steelers will move Metcalf around the formation more in 2026, Nick Farabaugh of PennLive.com reports.

Metcalf played just over 14 percent of his offensive snaps out of the slot last regular season, so perhaps the new coaching staff in Pittsburgh has a plan to get him more looks inside, which would translate to easier "layup" style catches and allow Metcalf to make plays with the ball in his hands. "We need him going," McCarthy said. "DK can change games." In his first season with Pittsburgh in 2025, Metcalf recorded a career-low 850 receiving yards on 59 catches across 15 regular-season contests. Headed into his second season with Aaron Rodgers, both players will aim for improved chemistry.

Evans (undisclosed) was carted off the field during Tuesday's practice, Alex Zietlow of The Charlotte Observer reports.

Evans suffered an apparent injury during 11-on-11 team drills. Steve Reed of the Associated Press reports that trainers are attending to Evans' lower body. The 2025 fifth-rounder suited up for all 17 regular-season games last year, handling a depth role in Carolina's tight end corps.

Smith-Njigba said he wants to show "different levels" and become an "upgraded version" of himself in 2026 after leading the NFL with 1,793 receiving yards last regular season, Kevin Patra of NFL.com reports.

Smith-Njigba enters camp as Seattle's clear offensive centerpiece after an Offensive Player of the Year season and Super Bowl run, but his surroundings have shifted. With former OC Klint Kubiak gone and first-time play caller Brian Fleury taking over, the offense could look notably different despite the return of quarterback Sam Darnold. Smith-Njigba is coming off a season that proves his elite fantasy ceiling beyond a doubt, but it remains to be seen whether Fleury can effectively move him around the formation and create mismatches the way Kubiak did.

Buckner (neck) has been cleared to practice, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.

Per Mike Chappell of Fox 59 News Indianapolis, Buckner, who had surgery Dec. 31 on a herniated disc in his neck, is likely to be eased back in to the mix as training camp progresses. Now that he's been cleared to return to the field, the 32-year-old, who is coming off a 2025 regular season in which he recorded 47 tackles and 4.0 sacks in 10 games, is set to reprise his starting defensive tackle role for the Colts.

Seattle waived McIntosh (knee) on Monday.

McIntosh missed all of last season while recovering from a torn ACL in his left knee and began training camp this year on the active/PUP list. It's unclear how far along he is in his recovery, but the Seahawks have decided to part ways with the 2023 seventh-round draft pick. All of McIntosh's offensive production to this point as a pro came in 2024, when he played in all 17 regular-season games and rushed 31 times for 172 yards and no scores while catching three of four targets for 22 yards. His 5.5 YPC that season and contributions on special teams, including as a kick returner, could be attractive to other clubs if McIntosh is able to show at some point that he's back to full health.

Johnson signed with the Raiders on Monday.

The seventh-round pick of the Eagles in 2021 has spent most of his career with his original team, including a nine-game regular-season stint in 2025 in which he recorded eight tackles (five solo), including 1.0 sacks. Johnson has played on more than 170 special-teams snaps in each of his five NFL seasons, and he can make his case for a roster spot as a special teamer and as a linebacker.

Johnson (undisclosed) tried out for the Raiders on Monday, Sam Warren of The Athletic reports.

The linebacker was waived with an undisclosed injury by the Packers in April. Johnson played in two regular-season games for Green Bay in 2025, making 10 tackles (three solo).

Felix-Fualalo (undisclosed) tried out for the Giants on Monday, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.

The offensive lineman appears to be healthy again after being placed on the Eagles' practice-squad injured list with an undisclosed issue last November. Felix-Fualalo has yet to appear in an NFL regular-season game.

The Seahawks are expected to waive McIntosh, who is continuing to recover from a torn ACL, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.

McIntosh saw action in all 17 of Seattle's regular-season games in 2024 but tore his ACL during training camp last July and spent the entire campaign on IR. He was placed on the active/PUP list last Wednesday and hasn't yet been able to practice during training camp. It appears Seattle will ultimately elect to part ways with McIntosh, who had been expected to compete for depth reps in the team's backfield in 2026.
