  • Panthers' Ryan Fitzgerald: Misses lone field-goal attempt

Fitzgerald missed his only field-goal try but converted on both point-after attempts during Saturday's 16-14 loss to the Buccaneers.

Fitzgerald came up short on a 54-yard field-goal try in the third quarter of Saturday's loss. It was a miss that proved costly, as the Panthers lost by just two points. The rookie kicker from Florida State appeared in all 17 of Carolina's regular-season games in 2025, making 24 of 29 field-goal attempts and 27 of 30 point-after tries. However, he struggled from long range, converting on just two of five field-goal attempts from 50-plus yards. Under contract through the 2027 season, Fitzgerald is expected to at least compete for Carolina's top placekicker role heading into the 2026 season.

  • Alijah Clark DB | DAL

Cowboys' Alijah Clark: Inactive for personal reasons

Clark (personal) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Per the Cowboys, Clark is attending to a personal matter and will not be with the team for Sunday's regular-season finale. He'll end the 2025 regular season with 18 tackles (nine solo) and one forced fumble across 11 games while contributing mostly on special teams. Markquese Bell will be the top reserve option at safety behind Malik Hooker and Donovan Wilson in Clark's absence.

  • Browns' Kingsley Eguakun: Unable to play Week 18

Eguakun (knee/shoulder) is inactive for Sunday's battle against the Bengals.

Eguakun battled a pair of injuries throughout the week and posted a DNP/LP/LP practice progression. He'll ultimately be held out of the Browns' season finale. Eguakun played in four games during his rookie campaign and started both Week 16 and Week 17 while with Detroit, but he was signed by Cleveland off the Lions' practice squad Wednesday and could have a chance to have a major role with the Browns next season.

  • Vikings' Dwight McGlothern: Inactive with hip issue

McGlothern (hip) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Packers.

McGlothern's absence means that his minimal role on special teams will have to be filled by another defensive back. Zemaiah Vaughn is likely the next man up and will log a few special-teams snaps in Sunday's game.

  • Josh Butler DB | DAL

Cowboys' Josh Butler: Cleared to play Week 18

Butler (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Butler spent nearly the entire regular season on the reserve/PUP list while recovering from a torn ACL that he sustained in December of 2024. He has progressed enough to play in Sunday's regular-season finale, and he could see some snaps in the secondary due to the absences of Shavon Revel (concussion) and DaRon Bland (foot - IR).

  • Zach Tom G | GB

Packers' Zach Tom: Won't play vs. Minnesota

Tom (back/knee) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Vikings, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.

Tom drew the questionable tag for Week 18 after being limited in practice all week due to back and knee injuries. He'll end up missing a third consecutive game, though he may have been able to play Sunday if the Packers had something to play for, but Green Bay is locked in as the No. 7 seed in the NFC playoffs, so Jordan Morgan will once again draw the start at right tackle. Given his ability to work in practice this past week, Tom is trending toward being available for the wild-card round of the NFC playoffs.

  • T.J. Hockenson TE | MIN

    Vikings' T.J. Hockenson: Inactive Sunday

Hockenson (shoulder) is listed as inactive Sunday against the Packers.

Hockenson thus will miss the final two contests of the 2025 campaign due to a shoulder injury, finishing it with 51 catches (on 66 targets) for 438 yards and three touchdowns in 15 appearances. He has no guaranteed money on his current contract for next season, but $2.308 million of it does vest as of March 17, so the Vikings seemingly have a decision to make on the 28-year-old's future in the coming months.

  • Brett Rypien QB | MIN

Vikings' Brett Rypien: Inactive for Sunday

Rypien (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Packers.

Rypien was the emergency third quarterback for the Vikings in their Week 17 win over the Lions, but with the return of starter J.J. McCarthy, the QB no longer has a game-day role. John Wolford will be Sunday's emergency third quarterback.

  • Dante Miller RB | NYG

Giants' Dante Miller: Healthy scratch for season finale

Miller (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's Week 18 game against the Cowboys, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Miller was elevated to the active roster for Week 17 and was then signed to the active roster Saturday, but he'll end up being a healthy scratch for both of the two games he was eligible to play. As such, the South Carolina product will end the campaign without having seen any regular-season NFL action. Miller will be an exclusive rights free agent in the offseason, and it remains to be seen if New York will want him back given that the Giants have two promising young RBs in Tyrone Tracy and Cam Skattebo (ankle).

  • Packers' Xavier McKinney: Idle for Week 18

McKinney (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Vikings, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.

McKinney will be a healthy scratch for Sunday's regular-season finale, seeing as the Packers cannot improve from the No. 7 seed in the NFC for the postseason. Kitan Oladapo is poised to start at safety alongside Evan Williams for Week 18. McKinney will end the 2025 regular season with 107 tackles (54 solo), including 1.0 sacks, 10 pass defenses (two interceptions) and one forced fumble over 16 games.
