  • Ladd McConkey WR | LAC

Chargers' Ladd McConkey: Ends up sitting out Week 5 loss

McConkey (foot) was active but didn't play any snaps in Sunday's 23-17 loss to the Broncos.

Initially labeled as week-to-week by head coach Jim Harbaugh at the beginning of Week 5 prep, McConkey didn't practice in any fashion Wednesday through Friday but was still listed as questionable heading into Sunday. Though he ultimately suited up against Denver, McConkey looks to have been active only in an emergency since the Chargers had two other wideouts (Quentin Johnston and Brenen Thompson) sitting out with more worrisome injuries. The Chargers' depth was further tested when Tre' Harris (hamstring) left Sunday's game early, resulting in the team finishing with just three healthy receivers. McConkey's practice activity will bear watching this week to determine whether he has a more legitimate chance at playing meaningful snaps next Sunday in Kansas City.

  • Patriots' Andy Borregales: Nails six PATs in blowout win

Borregales made his lone field-goal attempt and all six extra-point tries during Sunday's 45-17 win over Las Vegas.

Drake Maye and the Patriots offense dominated Sunday's game, so Borregales was mostly limited to extra-point duties outside of a 28-yard chip-shot field goal early in the fourth quarter that gave the Patriots a 38-10 lead. Despite the lack of field-goal attempts over his last two games, Borregales' scoring floor figures to be elevated now that New England's offense has seemingly figured things out. The Patriots will stay at home and host the Jets for Week 6 on Oct. 18.

  • Patriots' TreVeyon Henderson: Headed for testing Monday

Henderson (ankle) is slated to undergo further medical testing Monday after exiting Sunday's 45-17 win over the Raiders, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Henderson carried four times for 22 yards and recorded 16 receiving yards before exiting with just over 12 minutes left in the second quarter after injuring an ankle. Following Henderson's exit, Corey Kiner stepped in as the top complement to Rhamondre Stevenson, finishing the afternoon with six carries for 52 yards and a lost fumble. The Patriots didn't provide many details regarding the extent of Henderson's injury after the game, but the upcoming tests should shed more light on the matter. For now, Henderson can be considered questionable heading into the Patriots' Week 6 game against the Jets on Sunday.

  • Matt Gay K | LV

Raiders' Matt Gay: Misses first kick of 2026

Gay went 1-for-2 on field-goal attempts and converted both of his extra-point tries during the Raiders' 45-17 loss to the Patriots on Sunday.

Gay entered Sunday's game having made all 10 of his previous field-goal tries, but his first attempt from late in the second quarter from 48 yards hit the left upright, and the Patriots' offense capitalized on the good field possession with a five-play touchdown drive. Gay connected on a 46-yard field goal midway through the third quarter, and the veteran kicker is now 11-for-12 on field-goal attempts and 11-for-11 on extra-point tries through the first five games of the regular season. Up next for the Raiders is a Week 6 home tilt Oct. 18 against the Bills, whose defense gives up the eighth-most points per game in the NFL (26.8).

  • Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn: Busy day in Nashville

Fairbairn converted on all six of his kicks (four field goals, two extra points) during the Texans' 26-3 win over the Titans on Sunday.

Fairbairn got the Texans on the board with a 45-yard field goal late in the first quarter before making each of his next three field goals in the second, which ended with a 53-yard kick. His four made field goals were his most since Week 18 of the 2025 season against the Colts (six), and Fairbarin has gone 7-for-7 on field-goal attempts and 5-for-5 on extra-point tries over Houston's last two games. The Texans will cross the pond for a Week 6 AFC South showdown against the Jaguars on Oct. 18 in London.

  • Joey Slye K | TEN

Titans' Joey Slye: Quiet in Week 5 loss

Slye made his lone field-goal attempt during the Titans' 26-3 loss to the Texans on Sunday.

Slye converted on a 30-yard chip shot to end the Titans' opening offensive drive, but that ended being his only attempt of the game. He's attempted one or zero field goals in four of the first five games of the regular season, and his scoring floor is the lowest of all kickers given that the Titans score just 11.6 points per game, which is dead last in the NFL. Tennessee hits the road for Week 6 against Indianapolis on Oct. 18.

  • Jake Elliott K | PHI

Eagles' Jake Elliott: Perfect in London

Elliott made his lone field-goal attempt and both of his extra-point tries during Sunday's 19-17 loss to the Jaguars in London.

Elliott's only field-goal try came late in the fourth quarter, when he knocked through his 48-yard attempt to give the Eagles a 17-16 lead with only eight seconds left to play. He has yet to miss a kick through five regular-season games, though he's made only one field goal or zero in four of those contests. Elliott's scoring floor ceiling figures to be limited given that the Eagles' offense has the second-fewest yards per game (262.2) and ranks in the bottom-5 in points allowed per game (18.4). The Eagles will be home for four of their next five games, starting with Week 6 against the Panthers on Oct. 18.

  • Cam Little K | JAC

Jaguars' Cam Little: Makes game-winning FG

Little made both of his field goals and went 1-for-2 on extra-point tries during the Jaguars' 19-17 win over the Eagles on Sunday in London.

The Jaguars looked dead in the water after Eagles' kicker Jake Elliott connected on a 48-yard field goal to give Philadelphia a 17-16 lead with only eight seconds left in the fourth quarter. However, Ameer Abdullah gave Jacksonville hope with a 53-yard return on the ensuing kickoff, and Little answered the call with a 57-yard field goal to seal the victory for the Jaguars. Little is 9-for-11 on field-goal attempts through five regular-season games, with both of those misses coming from 50-plus yards. The Jaguars will stay in London for Week 6 to face the Texans in an AFC South showdown.

  • Falcons' Michael Penix: Set for MRI on ribs

Penix is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday after exiting Sunday's 30-23 overtime loss to the Ravens due to a rib injury, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Penix sustained the injury with 27 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter, when he took a hard sack from linebacker Tavius Robinson. After giving way to backup Tua Tagovailoa for one snap, Penix checked back into the contest for the next play and threw an incomplete pass on a third-and-six before the Falcons punted the ball away. Atlanta then listed Penix as questionable to return to the game, but Tagovailoa ended up directing the offense for the team's lone possession of overtime. Per Marc Raimondi of ESPN.com, Penix said that he likely would have been able to stay in the game if the Falcons had been on offense to begin overtime, but the pain in his ribs worsened during the Ravens' long touchdown drive to kick off the extra period. Penix is confident that his latest setback on the health front isn't a long-term concern, though the upcoming MRI will ultimately determine whether he has a realistic shot at playing Week 6 against the Bears.

  • Deebo Samuel WR | SF

49ers' Deebo Samuel: Slated for MRI

Samuel is scheduled to undergo an MRI after exiting Sunday's 32-29 win over the Seahawks due to a hamstring injury, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Samuel sustained the injury with 5:06 remaining in the third quarter, when he was tripped up by a Seattle defender and landed awkwardly while fumbling the football as he fell to the ground. The upcoming MRI will shed more light on the severity of the hamstring issue, but Rapoport notes that the fact that the 49ers ruled Samuel out of Sunday's game immediately is a foreboding sign. If Samuel ends up sitting out Week 6 against the Commanders next Monday, the 49ers would be left with Mike Evans, Brandin Cooks, Jacob Cowing and Jordan Watkins as their healthy options at receiver.
