Lane played 41 offensive snaps and served as Washington's No. 3 wideout while Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) and Noah Brown (groin) were sidelined in Week 9. The rookie from Virginia Tech tied his career high with three receptions and finished as the Commanders' third-leading receiver Sunday. He also contributed on special teams, returning two punts and one kickoff for 41 total yards. Following Sunday's performance, Lane's offensive role could continue to grow heading into the Week 10 matchup against the Lions.

McNichols rushed once for no yards during Sunday's 38-14 loss to the Seahawks.

Coming off his best game of the season in the Week 8 loss to the Chiefs, McNichols tallied his lowest yardage total of the year in Week 9. The veteran running back was also held without a catch Sunday for the first time since the Commanders' Week 3 win over the Raiders. Over nine appearances this season, McNichols has tallied 272 yards and one touchdown on 29 touches. He's expected to remain the Commanders' top reserve RB in the Week 10 matchup against the Lions.

Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said Monday that Watson (Achilles) won't have his 21-day practice window opened this week, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

Stefanski noted that he had no update on the status of Watson, though the lack of new information isn't necessarily a sign that the quarterback has experienced any sort of setback. Watson was always expected to be in line for a lengthy rehab process from the right Achilles tendon tear he sustained last October and then subsequently re-ruptured, which required a second surgery Jan. 9. Once Watson completes his rehab and advances to the point in his recovery that he's ready to practice, the Browns should have a better idea regarding whether the veteran signal-caller has a realistic chance at playing in games late in the 2025 season.

Head coach Sean McVay said that Nacua is scheduled to have a scan on the rib injury he sustained in Sunday's 34-10 win over the Saints, but the Rams remain "optimistic" that the wideout won't miss any time, Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times reports.

McVay's comments essentially echo what he said following Sunday's win, when he suggested that Nacua could have returned to the contest after exiting in the third quarter but ultimately remained on the sideline for the rest of the game while the Rams were sitting on a comfortable lead. Nacua's scan appears to be precautionary in nature, though even if the results reveal nothing concerning, the star receiver's practice participation could still be affected leading up to next Sunday's game at San Francisco.

Gainwell rushed three times for minus-1 yard while securing four of five targets for 35 yards during Sunday's 27-20 win over the Colts.

Gainwell had logged double-digit rushing yards in each of his first seven appearances this year, and while he didn't have much success on the ground Week 9, he matched his season-best mark in receiving yards in the victory. He also was on the field for 37 percent of the Steelers' offensive snaps, signaling that he remains the team's clear No. 2 back behind Jaylen Warren and ahead of Kaleb Johnson. Gainwell hasn't showcased much fantasy upside as the No. 2 option in the backfield over the first half of the year, but he's at least seen consistent playing time.

Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said Monday that Bond is still recovering from an undisclosed injury he sustained in the team's Week 8 loss to the Patriots, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.

Following their Week 9 bye, the Browns held an unofficial practice session Monday, and Bond wasn't present on the field. Stefanski said that an update on Bond's condition will be provided later in the week, and the nature of the wideout's injury should be known Wednesday, when Cleveland posts its first Week 10 practice report in advance of Sunday's game at the Jets. Bond had played at least 40 percent of the Browns' last six contests before the bye, but after accruing a 9-112-0 receiving line on 26 targets over the first four of those games, he was held without a catch on four targets over the final two weeks.
