  • Mike Hoecht LB | BUF

Bills' Michael Hoecht: Won't return due to Achilles injury

Hoecht (Achilles) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Chiefs.

It was a non-contact injury for Hoecht, and the severity of the injury will be known once he undergoes more tests. A.J. Epenesa and Javon Solomon will see more rotational snaps at defensive end behind Joey Bosa and Greg Rousseau following Hoecht's exit from Sunday's game.

  • Sam LaPorta TE | DET

Lions' Sam LaPorta: Season-best effort in win

LaPorta brought in six of eight targets for 97 yards and a touchdown in the Lions' 27-24 loss to the Vikings on Sunday.

LaPorta tied for the team lead in receiving yards with a total that was also a season-high figure, and he checked in second in both receptions and targets. The talented tight end also rang up his third touchdown of the season -- all which have come within the last four games -- on a 40-yard grab to close out the opening possession of the contest. LaPorta has a solid 35-436-3 receiving line and at least five catches in three of the past four games heading into a Week 10 road matchup against the Commanders.

  • Daniel Jones QB | IND

Colts' Daniel Jones: Five turnovers in loss

Jones completed 31 of 50 passes for 342 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions in Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Steelers. He added three rushes for four yards and an additional touchdown to go along with two lost fumbles.

Jones looked to be on his way to another efficient day, as he went 5-for-9 for 73 yards and a rushing score on the Colts' first possession. However, he struggled with negative plays for much of the game, taking five sacks in addition to his five turnovers. Jones managed to pad his stats with a few long drives in the fourth quarter, one of which concluded with a four-yard touchdown pass to Josh Downs. This marked Jones' first significant struggle of the season, and he'll now lead the Colts into a Week 10 matchup against the Falcons.

  • Johnny Newton DT | WAS

Commanders' Jer'Zhan Newton: Active for SNF

Newton (ankle) is active for Sunday Night Football against the Seahawks.

Newton is good to go after being limited at practice throughout the week with an ankle injury that he suffered in Week 8. The defensive lineman will operate as a top reserve option behind Daron Payne and Javon Kinlaw versus Seattle.

  • Jarran Reed DT | SEA

Seahawks' Jarran Reed: Green light to play Week 9

Reed (wrist) is active for Sunday's game against the Commanders.

Reed was managing a wrist injury during Week 9 prep and was given the questionable tag for Sunday night's game, but he has been cleared to play after going through pregame warmups. The veteran defensive end has 16 tackles (five solo), including 1.0 sacks, through seven regular-season games.

  • Laremy Tunsil OT | WAS

Commanders' Laremy Tunsil: Good to go for SNF

Tunsil (hamstring) is active for Sunday night's contest against the Seahawks.

Tunsil is all set to play after entering the weekend questionable with a hamstring injury that he suffered in Week 8. The 31-year-old will operate in his starting role at left tackle versus Seattle.

  • Jalen Milroe QB | SEA

Seahawks' Jalen Milroe: Emergency QB vs. Washington

Milroe (coach's decision) is inactive but will serve as the Seahawks' emergency third quarterback against the Commanders on Sunday.

As the emergency third QB, Milroe is restricted from playing Sunday unless both Sam Darnold and Drew Lock are removed from the game due to injury, illness or ejection. Milroe has appeared in three regular-season games and has logged three carries for four yards while not attempting a pass.

  • Caleb Williams QB | CHI

Bears' Caleb Williams: Four total TDs in win

Williams completed 20 of 34 passes for 280 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions, rushed five times for 53 yards and brought in two targets for 22 yards and a touchdown in the Bears' 47-42 win over the Bengals on Sunday.

Williams' brimming stat line tells the tale of a wild afternoon at Paycor Stadium that featured seven lead changes. Williams had a hand in the decisive one, connecting with rookie tight end Colston Loveland for a 58-yard game-winning touchdown. That momentous play was preceded by 15- and five-yard scoring strikes to Olamide Zaccheaus and Loveland, respectively, as well as Williams' own two-yard TD grab from DJ Moore on a trick play to cap off Chicago's opening possession. The 2024 first overall pick snapped a two-game TD-pass drought with Sunday's performance, and he also hit the 280-yard mark for the second consecutive contest. Williams and the Bears have another favorable matchup on tap when the Giants pay a visit to Soldier Field for a Week 10 matchup next Sunday afternoon.

  • Chiefs' Jawaan Taylor: Questionable to return

Taylor (ankle) is questionable to return to Kansas City's matchup versus the Bills.

Taylor suffered the injury in the second half, leaving his status for the remainder of the game up in the air. Wanya Morris has taken over at right tackle in Taylor's absence.

  • Saints' Taliese Fuaga: Suffers ankle injury Week 9

Fuaga sustained an ankle injury during the Saints' 34-10 loss to the Rams on Sunday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com reports.

Fuaga had his ankle evaluated by medical staff on the sidelines before being carted to the locker room. He'll undergo further tests to determine the severity of the injury, but he is in jeopardy of being sidelined for the Saints' Week 10 road tilt against the Panthers on Sunday, Nov. 9. Asim Richards took over at right tackle during Sunday's game and would be in line to start if Fuaga misses time.
