Adonai Mitchell WR | NYJ
Jets' Adonai Mitchell: Week-to-week with finger injury
Jets head coach Aaron Glenn said that Mitchell (finger) won't practice Wednesday and is considered week-to-week, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.
Mitchell sat out the Jets' 31-24 loss to the Lions in Week 3 due to the finger injury, and his absence to begin Week 4 prep in addition to Glenn classifying him as week-to-week rather than day-to-day suggests that the receiver is trending toward another absence this Sunday versus the Bears. If Mitchell ends up sitting out a second straight game, Isaiah Williams would be in store for another elevated snap count as the Jets' No. 2 wideout behind Garrett Wilson.

Breece Hall RB | NYJ
Jets' Breece Hall: Not practicing, deemed week-to-week
Jets head coach Aaron Glenn said that Hall (thigh) won't practice Wednesday and confirmed the running back is being viewed as week-to-week, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.
Though Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported Monday that an MRI on the quad injury Hall sustained in Sunday's loss to the Lions wasn't as significant as the Jets had feared, the running back appears likely to miss at least one game. Unless Hall is able to fit in some practice activity Thursday or Friday, the Jets will likely officially rule him out ahead of Sunday's contest in Chicago. Hall's expected absence would clear the way for Braelon Allen to serve as the Jets' lead option on the ground, while Isaiah Davis would likely be in store for added work in a change-of-pace role.

Mason Taylor TE | NYJ
Jets' Mason Taylor: DNP on Wednesday, remains week-to-week
Taylor (thumb) will not practice Wednesday and remains week-to-week, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.
Taylor appears set to miss a second straight game Sunday against the Bears. With Taylor out last Sunday against the Lions, first-round rookie Kenyon Sadiq played a season-high 57.6 percent of the Jets' offensive snaps and posted a 7-105-1 receiving line on eight targets. With Adonai Mitchell (finger) also week-to-week for Gang Green, Sadiq has a path to once again play a prominent pass-catching role versus Chicago.

Mario Edwards DT | HOU
Texans' Mario Edwards: Done for season with torn ACL
Edwards (knee) has been diagnosed with a torn ACL and will miss the remainder of the 2026 season, Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Edwards was injured in Sunday's game against the Colts, and the 32-year-old will soon be headed to injured reserve. In three games this season, Edwards recorded six tackles (one solo), including 1.0 sacks, as a rotational defensive lineman for Houston.

Jayden Reed WR | GB
Packers' Jayden Reed: Headed for injured reserve
The Packers are expected to place Reed (neck) on injured reserve Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Reed remains without a clear timeline for a return after sustaining a neck injury in the Packers' Week 2 win over the Jets that resulted in a brief stay in the hospital, but his impending move to IR ensures that he'll remain out for at least Green Bay's next four games. With Reed out indefinitely, second-year player Matthew Golden should be further insulated as the Packers' No. 2 receiver, while the likes of Skyy Moore, Bo Melton and J. Michael Sturdivant should see more involvement in three- and four-wide sets.

David Moore WR | CAR
Panthers' David Moore: Inks to active roster
The Panthers signed Moore off the practice squad to the active roster Wednesday.
With Xavier Legette (knee) missing last Sunday's loss to the Browns, Moore was elevated from the practice squad for his 2026 debut in Week 3. Now that Jalen Coker (quadriceps) is also dinged up, Moore gets a spot on the 53-man roster after playing five offensive snaps and another 13 on special teams against Cleveland.

Anthony Tyus III RB | CAR
Panthers' Anthony Tyus: Joins 53-man roster
The Panthers signed Tyus from the practice squad to the active roster Wednesday.
The 23-year-old running back made his regular-season NFL debut in Sunday's loss to the Browns, logging 14 snaps on special teams. He returned a pair of kicks for 47 yards and will now slot in behind Chuba Hubbard and AJ Dillon on the backfield depth chart.
-
Mike Jackson CB | CAR
Panthers' Mike Jackson: Sent to injured reserve
The Panthers placed Jackson (groin) on injured reserve Wednesday.
Jackson was injured in Sunday's loss to the Browns, and will now miss at least the next four weeks. Carolina's secondary took a number of big hits in the injury department versus Cleveland, as Jaycee Horn suffered a torn quadriceps and will be out 6-to-12 weeks. Will Lee, Akayleb Evans and Chau Smith-Wade will handle cornerback duties for the foreseeable future.
-
Jaycee Horn CB | CAR
Panthers' Jaycee Horn: Officially sent to IR
The Panthers placed Horn (quadriceps) on injured reserve Wednesday.
Horn suffered a torn quadriceps in Sunday's loss to the Browns and is expected to miss anywhere from 6-to-12 weeks. It's a brutal blow to the Carolina secondary, which will also be without Mike Jackson (groin) for at least the next four weeks after he was also placed on injured reserve Wednesday. Will Lee, Akayleb Evans and Chau Smith-Wade will handle cornerback duties moving forward.

Brycen Tremayne WR | CAR
Panthers' Brycen Tremayne: Posts career-best yardage total
Tremayne finished with four receptions for 83 yards on six targets in Sunday's 21-18 loss to the Browns.
After playing less than 20 percent of the offensive snaps and failing to draw a target in either of the Panthers' first two games, Tremayne took on an expanded profile in the passing attack in Week 3 while Xavier Legette (knee) was inactive and Jalen Coker (quadriceps) made an early exit. Tremayne ended up playing 62 of the team's 77 offensive snaps (81 percent), leading Carolina in receiving with a career-best yardage total. However, if the Panthers get one or both of Coker and Legette back for Week 4 against the Lions, Tremayne is likely to see his playing time drop precipitously.
