  • Taron Johnson CB | BUF

    Bills' Taron Johnson: Sidelined Wednesday

Head coach Sean McDermott told reporters that Johnson (groin) won't practice Wednesday, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.

Johnson was sidelined for the Bills' Week 9 win over Chiefs due to a groin injury likely sustained in practice. The Weber State product is an integral part of Buffalo's secondary, recording 25 total tackles and two passes defended across six appearances this season. He likely needs to upgrade to at least limited practice Thursday or Friday to have a chance at playing in the Week 10 matchup against the Dolphins.

  • Joey Bosa DE | BUF

Bills' Joey Bosa: Won't practice Wednesday

Head coach Sean McDermott told reporters that Bosa (wrist) won't practice Wednesday, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.

Despite playing 44 defensive snaps and recording three total tackles, including 1.0 sacks, in Buffalo's Week 9 win over the Chiefs, the veteran defensive lineman appears to have sustained a wrist injury. Bosa's practice participation Thursday and Friday will likely provide the clearest indication on whether he can suit up for the Week 10 matchup against the Dolphins on Sunday.

  • Dalton Keene TE | HOU

    Dalton Keene: Out in Houston

Keene was cut from the Texans' practice squad Wednesday.

Keene signed with the Texans practice squad just one week ago, but it now appears as if the team has decided to move in a different direction. In a corresponding move, Houston added veteran kicker Matthew Wright to its practice squad Wednesday after Ka'imi Fairbairn (lower body) suffered an injury.

  • Sauce Gardner CB | IND

    Colts' Sauce Gardner: Practicing Wednesday

Head coach Shane Steichen told reporters that Gardner (concussion) will practice Wednesday, Stephen Holder of ESPN.com reports.

Before being traded from the Jets to the Colts on Tuesday, Gardner sustained a concussion in New York's Week 8 win over the Bengals. Steichen added that Gardner will make his Colts debut in the Week 10 matchup against the Falcons in Berlin only if he clears the NFL's five-step concussion protocol by game time.

  • Andre Cisco SAF | NYJ

Jets' Andre Cisco: Moves to IR

Cisco (pectoral) was placed on the injured reserve list Wednesday.

Cisco is expected to miss the remainder of the Jets' 2025 campaign after tearing his pectoral muscle in the Week 8 win of the Bengals. He started in all eight of New York's games this season, recording 41 total tackles and one pass defended. Expect Tony Adams and Dean Clark to operate as the Jets' top free safeties for the rest of the season.

  • Josh Palmer WR | BUF

Bills' Joshua Palmer: Remains limited at practice

Palmer (knee/ankle) will be limited at practice Wednesday, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.

Palmer, who last suited up in Week 6, was also limited this past Thursday and Friday, with the wideout now having two more chances to upgrade his participation level ahead of Sunday's game against the Dolphins. If Palmer ends up limited or remains sidelined this weekend, Tyrell Shavers, Curtis Samuel and Elijah Moore would be next in line for WR snaps behind Keon Coleman and Khalil Shakir.

  • Matthew Wright: Joins Texans' practice squad

The Texans signed Wright to their practice squad Wednesday.

The veteran from UCF has already kicked for the Titans and Commanders this season, converting on his lone field-goal and extra-point attempts across two games. With Ka'imi Fairbairn (lower body) dealing with an injury, Wright could be elevated to the Texans' active roster to handle placekicking duties in the team's Week 10 matchup against the Jaguars on Sunday.

  • Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn: Dealing with lower body injury

Fairbairn is dealing with a lower body injury following Sunday's 18-15 loss to the Broncos, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

The 31-year-old sustained an apparent lower body injury despite converting on five of six field-goal tries during the Texans' Week 9 loss. His practice participation throughout the week will likely provide the clearest indication of his availability in the Week 10 matchup against the Jaguars. If Fairbairn is unable to suit up, Houston added veteran kicker Matthew Wright to its practice squad Wednesday as potential insurance.

  • James Cook RB | BUF

Bills' James Cook: Not practicing Wednesday

Cook (ankle/foot) won't practice Wednesday, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.

Per Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com, coach Sean McDermott noted the injury that sidelined Cook Wednesday popped up during this past Sunday's win over the Chiefs, while adding that the running back has been sore the last couple days. Cook thus has two more chances to practice ahead of this weekend's game against the Dolphins, but if he's limited or out in Week 10, added snaps would be available for Ty Johnson and Ray Davis.

  • Browns' Carson Schwesinger: Misses Wednesday's practice

Schwesinger (ankle) won't practice Wednesday, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.

The rookie linebacker from UCLA sustained a high ankle sprain in the Browns' Week 8 loss to the Patriots, so it's no surprise he's sidelined following the team's Week 9 bye. Although Schwesinger's injury isn't considered to be "major," he'll likely be held out of the Week 10 matchup against the Jets unless he can upgrade to at least a limited practice session Thursday or Friday.
