Jefferson joined Washington in March after spending a season with the Titans, but the team will move forward with other options at the wideout spots. Jefferson has seven years of experience under his belt, so he should garner interest from clubs looking for a proven wideout.

The Saints waived Rechsteiner (suspension) on Sunday, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.

Rechsteiner still must miss the first six games of the 2026 regular season regardless of where he ends up. The undrafted free agent out of Jacksonville State was suspended in early August, something that may inhibit his ability to find work if he clears waivers.

The Browns waived Floriea on Sunday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

Floriea caught six of his eleven targets for 95 yards and three touchdowns over the Browns' three preseason contests. The wide receiver was a camp favorite, and there is a strong chance he will rejoin the team's practice squad if he can clear waivers.

The Titans waived Oliver on Sunday, Paul Kuharsky of PaulKuharsky.com reports.

Oliver was competing for a depth role but was unable to stand out in a crowded receiver room. The 26-year-old had spent the past two seasons in Tennessee, catching seven passes for 103 yards across 13 games while also seeing playing time on special teams.

The Jets waived Skinner on Sunday, Connor Hughes of SNY.tv reports.

Skinner signed with the Jets in late July. The wide receiver has yet to play in a regular-season game. If Skinner is not claimed off waivers, the streak will likely continue into the 2026 regular season, as the 23-year-old will likely attempt to find a practice squad to join.

The Giants released Berrios on Sunday, but the team intends to bring him back for Week 1 action, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Berrios was brought in by the Giants in the middle of the offseason program when a number of serious injuries beset the receiving corps. He ended up making it all the way to cutdown day before getting dismissed, but New York appears poised to add him back -- whether it's on the active roster or practice squad -- before the season opener.

The Titans waived Jackson on Sunday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.

The Titans claimed Jackson off waivers from the Giants in early May. The wide receiver participated in all three preseason games for the team but logged just one reception for seven yards. Jackson will now be subject to waivers, and if he clears will become a free agent able to sign with any franchise.

The Falcons waived Anthony on Sunday, Marc Raimondi of ESPN reports.

Anthony had been competing for a depth spot after joining the team as an undrafted free agent in May but was unable to catch on. The 23-year-old had a strong training camp and could be brought back to Atlanta's practice squad if he clears waivers.

The Rams waived Scott on Sunday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN reports.

Scott had practice squad stints with the Colts, Seahawks and Rams during the 2025 campaign but didn't appear in any games. He had signed a reserve/future contract with the Rams in January and will now look to find a new opportunity with another team.

The Saints waived Moreno-Cropper on Sunday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

Moreno-Cropper signed with the Saints in mid-June. The wide receiver was competing for a special-teams role and could not do quite enough to earn the nod over other receivers such as Barion Brown. Moreno-Cropper will now be placed on waivers, and if he goes unclaimed will become a free agent able to sign with any team.
