  • Zay Jones WR | ARI

Raiders' Zay Jones: Secures difficult catch in win

Jones caught his only target for 43 yards in Sunday's 33-22 win over the Eagles.

Jones made an impressive 43-yard sideline grab on third and long when the Raiders were trailing by seven points in the first quarter, but he ultimately played less than 15 offensive snaps for a fourth consecutive game. Jones is averaging just one target per game ahead of the team's Week 8 bye.

  • Seahawks' Tyler Lockett: Another poor outing with backup QB

Lockett caught two of three targets for just 12 yards in Monday's 13-10 loss to New Orleans.

Lockett turned in his second dismal performance with Geno Smith under center. The backup quarterback can't be blamed for all of his wideout's shortcomings, as Lockett had been struggling when Russell Wilson (finger) was healthy outside of Weeks 1 and 2. The 28-year-old possesses the explosive talent to ignite a huge fantasy game on any given week, but perhaps it's best to explore other options, at least until Wilson returns from IR.

  • DK Metcalf WR | PIT

Seahawks' DK Metcalf: Rips off huge score in loss

Metcalf (foot) caught two of five targets for 96 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 13-10 loss to New Orleans.

Metcalf managers had a bit of an scare earlier in the week when he popped up on the injury report with a foot injury on the last day of team practice, but the speedster turned out to be healthy enough to suit up for Monday's contest. The 23-year-old rewarded fantasy managers with a career-high 84-yard touchdown catch and run after beating his assignment on a go route in the first quarter. Metcalf has managed to stay relevant over the past two weeks even with the sub-par Geno Smith under center, and he will attempt to continue doing so for at least one more game when Seattle takes on the Jaguars before the team's bye week.

  • Tre'Quan Smith WR | DET

Saints' Tre'Quan Smith: One catch in ugly season debut

Smith (hamstring) caught one of three targets for 11 yards in Monday's 13-10 win over the Seahawks.

Smith was noticeable for all the wrong reasons in his season debut, registering an early drop and later getting into a shouting match with quarterback Jameis Winston on the sideline after Smith failed to line up correctly. He completed the trifecta of miscues when he nearly derailed what turned out to be New Orleans' game-winning drive with an offensive pass interference penalty, but Smith made amends by gaining 11 yards on the very next play, turning the 2nd-and-16 hole he created into a manageable 3rd-and-5. Smith's a downfield burner who could benefit from Winston's big arm as soon as Week 8 against the Buccaneers, though we can't blame you for not rushing to the waiver wire for the 25-year-old receiver after this performance.

  • Saints' Marquez Callaway: Cools down in Seattle

Callaway caught three of seven targets for 32 yards in Monday's 13-10 win over the Seahawks.

Callaway got open in the back of the end zone on New Orleans' first scoring drive, but a Seattle linebacker was able to knock the ball down on its way to Callaway, forcing the Saints to settle for a field goal. He led all Saints wide receivers in catches, targets and receiving yards, as running back Alvin Kamara (128 receiving yards and a touchdown) was the only New Orleans pass-catcher that was able to get going in this one. Callaway had totaled three touchdowns in his previous three games, and this was his lowest yardage total since Week 2, so he'll likely bounce back in Week 8 against the Buccaneers.

  • Rondale Moore WR | MIN

Cardinals' Rondale Moore: Notches two catches Sunday

Moore caught two of his three targets for 17 yards and returned two punts for 27 yards during Sunday's 31-5 win against the Texans.

Moore logged a healthy dose of snaps -- 37 of 71 on offense -- but he ranked well behind the Cardinals' top trio of A.J. Green (60), DeAndre Hopkins (59) and Christian Kirk (51). Newcomer Zach Ertz (five targets on 35 offensive plays) and running back Chase Edmonds (three targets) also were parts of the passing game, leaving few looks for the rookie wide receiver. With Ertz likely to increase his role moving forward, Moore may have to take full advantage of the random reps he receives on a weekly basis in order to provide any fantasy value.

  • Keke Coutee WR | MIA

Keke Coutee: Heads to practice squad

Coutee reverted to Indianapolis' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.

Coutee made his first appearance of the 2021 season in Week 7 against the 49ers, hauling in one catch for five yards. He was only on the field for four offensive snaps.

  • Tyler Johnson WR | DAL

Buccaneers' Tyler Johnson: Makes use of two opportunities

Johnson brought in both targets for 16 yards in the Buccaneers' 38-3 win over the Bears on Sunday.

The second-year wideout logged a hefty 49 snaps overall, good for a 67 percent share. However, Johnson saw the bulk of Tom Brady's attention diverted to Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, who accounted for 14 of the quarterback's 20 completions, 187 of his 211 yards and all four of his touchdown passes. With Antonio Brown (ankle) potentially back for a Week 8 road battle against the Saints, Johnson figures to see his time on the field dwindle from Sunday's level before long.

  • Keith Kirkwood WR | BAL

Keith Kirkwood: Returns to practice squad

Kirkwood reverted to Carolina's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.

Kirkwood hauled in his first three catches of the season in Week 7 against the Giants, logging 29 of his team's 64 offensive snaps in the loss. He was also on the field for 10 special-teams snaps.

  • Seahawks' Dee Eskridge: Could return Week 8

Eskridge has visited a concussion specialist in Florida and has a chance to return to action Sunday against the Jaguars, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

Eskridge has been sidelined since Week 1 due to his head injury and been on injured reserve since Oct. 7, so he'll have a few chances to make an impression on the practice field this week, assuming the Seahawks designate him to return from IR. If he's able to complete all the phases of the concussion protocol in time for Sunday's game, the 2021 second-round pick likely will have to settle for no better than No. 4 on the wide receiver depth chart behind DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and Freddie Swain, and ahead of Penny Hart.
