  • Cam Sims WR | CAR

Football Team's Cam Sims: Returns to limited practice

Sims (hamstring) was a limited practice participant Thursday.

Sims has practiced in limited capacity both Wednesday and Thursday. Those have been his first sessions since exiting the team's Week 4 matchup, so it looks like he could potentially return to the field Sunday against Denver after a three-game absence.

  • Dyami Brown WR | WAS

Football Team's Dyami Brown: Absent from practice again

Brown (knee) did not practice Thursday.

Brown exited Sunday's game with a knee injury and underwent an MRI on Monday. He has missed both practices this week, so his availability appears to be in jeopardy Sunday at Denver.

  • DK Metcalf WR | PIT

Seahawks' DK Metcalf: Takes seat Thursday

Metcalf (foot) didn't practice Thursday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Metcalf has received routine maintenance for his foot injury since Week 4, sitting out the second practice both of the past two weeks. If he follows last week's regimen to a T, he'll log a limited session Friday and enter the weekend without a designation for the Seahawks' Week 8 matchup with the Jaguars.

  • Cardinals' Andy Isabella: Inactive against Packers

Isabella (coach's decision) is inactive for Thursday's matchup against the Packers, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Isabella will be a healthy scratch for the fifth time in the last six games. He's played solely on special teams when active this year.

  • Panthers' Terrace Marshall: Out again Thursday

Marshall (concussion) remained sidelined at Thursday's practice.

The wide receiver has yet to practice since suffering a concussion in Week 6 against the Vikings. He still has to clear concussion protocol before he can return to game action and appears unlikely to suit up Sunday against the Falcons. If Marshall remains out in Week 8, Keith Kirkwood and Shi Smith will garner more snaps once again.

  • Cardinals' DeAndre Hopkins: Suiting up Thursday

Hopkins (hamstring) is listed as active Thursday against the Packers, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Hopkins was considered a game-time decision after not practicing on a short week of prep due to a hamstring injury. Following a pregame warmup, though, he'll be available to Arizona's offense versus a Green Bay defense that will be without Week 1 starting cornerbacks Jaire Alexander (shoulder) and Kevin King (shoulder).

  • Deonte Harty WR | BAL

Saints' Deonte Harris: Limited practice Thursday

Harris (hamstring) returned to practice Thursday, logging a limited effort.

The 24-year-old hadn't practiced since suffering a hamstring injury in Week 5 versus Washington, so his limited participation is a good sign for his chances to play in Week 8 against the Buccaneers. Harris has 12 catches for 236 yards and two touchdowns this season, on top of operating as the Saints' kick and punt returner.

  • Deebo Samuel WR | SF

49ers' Deebo Samuel: Moves up to limited showing

Samuel (calf) was limited in practice Thursday, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

The 49ers are taking a cautious approach with Samuel's calf issue, which didn't allow him to get on the practice field to begin Week 8 prep. But, as coach Kyle Shanahan told Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News, he expressed optimism Wednesday about the wide receiver being active Sunday in Chicago. Thursday's development is a step in the right direction, but there's still a chance he heads into the weekend with a designation if he isn't a full participant Friday.

  • DeVante Parker WR | PHI

Dolphins' DeVante Parker: Logs limited practice Thursday

Parker (shoulder/hamstring) remained limited at practice Thursday.

Prior to Thursday's practice, Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald relayed that the wideout said he's feeling good, but Parker acknowledged that he's in wait-and-see mode after missing Miami's last three games. With that in mind, Parker appears to be trending toward an official questionable designation for Sunday's game against the Bills.

  • Corey Davis WR | NYJ

Jets' Corey Davis: Added to injury report

Davis was listed as a limited practice participant Thursday due to a hip issue, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Davis wasn't on Wednesday's injury report, so this is something to monitor ahead of Sunday's game against the Bengals. The Jets' starting wideout is coming off a 4-47-1 effort in this past Sunday's 54-13 loss to New England. If Davis is cleared for Week 8 action, he'll be catching passes from QB Mike White, who's slated to make his first regular-season NFL start, with Zach Wilson (knee) out.
