The Colts elevated Gould from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday.

Gould has appeared in 19 regular-season games for the Colts since 2024, logging three receptions for 29 yards, 853 kick return yards and 226 punt return yards. The wide receiver has been elevated to be the primary punt and kick returner in Sunday's contest against the Chiefs due to the absence of Ashton Dulin (ankle).

The Jets are expected to place Cooper (ankle) on injured reserve, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Cooper suffered a sprained ankle early on in his pro debut this past Sunday at Tennessee that left him week-to-week. He predictably didn't practice during Week 2 prep and then was ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Packers. Once he's officially on injured reserve, Cooper will need to miss at least the next four games, at which point New York will be able to designate him for return from IR. In the meantime, Isaiah Williams figures to take on a bigger role behind Garrett Williams and Adonai Mitchell.

Dortch reverted to the Bills' practice squad Thursday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Dortch played a total of 12 snaps (four on offense, eight on special teams) and was the Bills' primary returner on special teams in Thursday's 41-31 win over the Lions, logging 36 yards on three punt returns and turning two kickoffs into 51 yards. It's the second consecutive game in which Dortch has been elevated to the active roster, and he's eligible to be elevated only once more for the rest of the regular season before having to be signed to the active roster in order to suit up again for the Bills in 2026.

Whittington (quadriceps) did not practice Friday.

Whittington logged 25 offensive snaps in the 27-7 loss to the 49ers in Week 1, finishing behind Puka Nacua (43) and Davante Adams (33). However, he ended with just one catch for eight yards. While there doesn't appear to be much upside surrounding Whittington ahead of the Week 2 meeting with the Giants, that could change if Nacua, who also didn't practice Friday due to a hip issue, can't suit up for that contest.

Lane (groin) does not carry an official injury designation ahead of Sunday's game at Dallas.

Lane was limited at practice all week because of a groin issue, but it won't keep him off the field in Week 2. He should resume his role as a primary punt and kickoff returner against the Cowboys on Sunday.

TeSlaa caught two passes (on five targets) for 26 yards during the Lions' 41-31 loss to the Bills on Thursday.

TeSlaa did not record a catch during the Lions' Week 1 overtime win over the Saints, but the second-year pro hauled in his first pass from Jared Goff on the season with a six-yard reception early in the third quarter before the duo connected on a 20-yard pass in the fourth. TeSlaa played 49 of the Lions' 65 offensive snaps in Thursday's loss, but he's clearly below Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams, tight end Sam LaPorta and running back Jahmyr Gibbs in Detroit's pecking order. Courtesy of their TNF showdown, the Lions will have additional rest before a Week 3 home tilt against the Jets on Sunday, Sept. 27.

With Zay Flowers (hamstring) listed as doubtful, Walker should have a role on offense in Sunday's game against the Saints, Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official site reports.

Walker missed Week 1 with a groin injury and now joins an offense that's likely without Flowers and won't have Ja'Kobi Lane (IR - wrist) for at least the next four weeks. Veteran starter Rashod Bateman is the de facto No. 1 receiver, with Walker, LaJohntay Wester, Chris Moore and Elijah Sarratt all candidates for significant playing time as well. Walker was in competition with Lane this summer for the No. 3 receiver job alongside Flowers and Bateman.

Hutchinson will have a key role for the Texans in the absence of Nico Collins (hamstring) this Sunday against Cincinnati, Aaron Wilson of SportsTalk790AM reports.

In the season opener, Hutchinson finished second among the team's wide receivers in route share (69 percent) and target share (16.2 percent), catching three of six targets for 32 yards. He's struggled to draw targets over the years even when he gets considerable playing time, but this could be somewhat different because the team's WR depth looks thinner than in past years. Kayshon Boutte, Jaylin Noel and Jared Wayne also figure to have roles against the Bengals on Sunday.

Noel has a chance for more playing time with Nico Collins (hamstring) ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bengals, Aaron Wilson of SportsTalk790AM reports.

Noel caught both of his targets for 53 yards in the season opener, operating as Houston's No. 3 receiver and running a route on just 33 percent of dropbacks. He should get more playing time this week, though Xavier Hutchinson and Kayshon Boutte are more likely to take snaps in two-wide sets. Both have maintained consistently low target rates across multiple years of significant playing time, so Noel could make an impact even if he's just the No. 3 receiver.

Boutte is in line for a larger role with Nico Collins (hamstring) ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bengals, Aaron Wilson of SportsTalk790AM reports.

Boutte was targeted on just two of 25 routes in a Week 1 loss to Buffalo, catching one pass for 21 yards. His 60 percent route share was fourth on the team, behind Collins (86 percent), TE Dalton Schultz (71 percent) and WR Xavier Hutchinson (69 percent). With Collins out of the equation, Hutchinson and Boutte are the safest bets to take WR snaps, with Jaylin Noel and Jared Wayne also having roles. The Texans also may lean into multi-TE formations after using 11 personnel on 58 percent of snaps in their season opener.
