Brandon Powell WR | MIN
Rams' Brandon Powell: Expected to play in Week 8
Powell (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers but expected to play, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.
Powell saw more involvement on offense with Cam Akers (personal) sidelined in the Rams' previous game, notching three carries in addition to five targets. The wide receiver should continue to operate as the return man on special teams in addition to possibly seeing a few rushing opportunities with Akers having been ruled out once again.

Deebo Samuel WR | SF
49ers' Deebo Samuel: Not practicing Friday
Samuel (hamstring) isn't practicing Friday, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.
A third straight absence from practice makes Samuel unlikely to play Sunday against the Rams, though he hasn't yet been ruled out and might be treated as a game-time decision even if he's really a long shot.
-
Michael Thomas WR | NO
Saints' Michael Thomas: Ruled out for Week 8
Thomas (foot) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Raiders.
Thomas still hasn't returned to practice and now will miss a fifth straight game, but at least he gets an extra day to heal up before the Saints face the Ravens on Monday night Week 9. With Jarvis Landry (ankle) also out for Sunday's game against Las Vegas, it'll likely be Marquez Callaway and Tre'Quan Smith getting most of the receiver snaps alongside rookie standout Chris Olave.
-
Van Jefferson WR | WAS
Rams' Van Jefferson: Deemed ready for full workload
Coach Sean McVay said Friday that Jefferson (knee) will play in Sunday's game against the 49ers and should be ready for a normal workload, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
Jefferson topped 90 percent snap share on seven occasions last season, and while that type of workload is unlikely after he missed six games recovering from knee surgery, it can't entirely be ruled out given McVay's penchant for running his starters hard. A lesser role is more likely, especially after Ben Skowronek showed signs of progress before the Week 7 bye, averaging 49.3 total yards over a four-game stretch. Allen Robinson has less yardage than Skowronek despite seeing a few more snaps and routes so far, and it's possible the 29-year-old Robinson eventually loses playing time if he doesn't start to produce.
-
Dyami Brown WR | WAS
Commanders' Dyami Brown: Iffy for Week 8
The Commanders list Brown (groin) as questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports.
After not practicing in any capacity last week before sitting out the Commanders' eventual win over the Packers, Brown was back on the field as a limited participant this week. It's unclear if the increased practice activity will be enough for Brown to gain clearance to play Sunday, but if he does, he'll likely be stepping into the No. 3 role at receiver behind Terry McLaurin and Curtis Samuel while rookie first-round pick Jahan Dotson (hamstring) misses a fourth consecutive game.
-
Garrett Wilson WR | NYJ
Jets' Garrett Wilson: Team's clear WR1 in Week 8
Antwan Staley of the New York Daily News expects the Jets to rely more on Wilson against the Patriots on Sunday with Corey Davis (knee) sidelined.
Wilson leads the Jets in catches (28) and targets (52), but Davis is the team leader in receiving yards with 351 entering Week 8. The two share the team lead in receiving touchdowns with two apiece. With Davis sidelined, Elijah Moore, Braxton Berrios and Denzel Mims could all see more targets behind Wilson as well.
-
Davante Adams WR | LAR
Raiders' Davante Adams: Could practice Friday
Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels said that he "hopes" to see Adams (illness) at practice Friday, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
Levi Edwards of the Raiders' official site indicates that a stomach bug has been going around the team's locker room, with Adams having missed the last two days of practice as a result. A return to the field Friday in any capacity would bode well for the wideout's chances of playing Sunday against the Saints, though it remains to be seen if Adams will head into the weekend with an injury designation.
-
Jamal Agnew WR | ATL
Jaguars' Jamal Agnew: Questionable for London game
Agnew (knee) is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Broncos.
Agnew logged a third consecutive limited practice Friday, so his status will likely come down to a game-time decision. Even if he plays, Agnew will likely have a limited role as Jacksonville's fourth-string wide receiver. If you're relying on him in a deeper format, make sure to set your alarm, as the Jaguars will be facing the Broncos in London on Sunday, so kickoff's at 9:30 am EDT.
-
Jahan Dotson WR | ATL
Commanders' Jahan Dotson: Out again
Dotson (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Colts, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.
With Dotson out another week, it'll be either Cam Sims or Dyami Brown (questionable - groin) getting most of the WR snaps alongside Terry McLaurin and Curtis Samuel in the three-wide formations that comprise most of Washington's offense. The team might also have TE Logan Thomas (calf) as a receiving option this week, as he's been deemed questionable after missing the past three games.
-
James Proche WR | TEN
Ravens' James Proche: Season-high three catches in Week 8
Proche caught three of four targets for 24 yards in Thursday's 27-22 win over Tampa Bay.
Proche came in with only two targets all season but doubled that total in this game alone. His elevated usage can be chalked up to the Ravens losing both Mark Andrews (shoulder) and Rashod Bateman (foot) to injuries during the game. Even if Bateman remains sidelined in Week 9 against the Saints, Proche will be no higher than third in the wide receiver pecking order behind Devin Duvernay and Demarcus Robinson.
