The Patriots claimed Pitts off waivers from the Bears on Tuesday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

Pitts joined the Bears as an undrafted free agent in May, but he was let go at the start of training camp and will now attempt to carve out a role in New England. The Delaware product caught 57 passes for 631 yards and a team-high 10 touchdowns during his final collegiate season.

Jackson was carted off the practice field Tuesday with an apparent right leg injury, Ben Goessling of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Jackson went down after trying to grab a deep ball on the sideline during Tuesday's practice and appeared to suffer a serious injury. He spent the entire 2022 season on Minnesota's practice squad and signed a reserve/future contract in January, but the 2020 undrafted wideout has yet to appear in a regular-season game. If he's forced to miss significant time, it could be difficult for Jackson to maintain his standing in the organization.

Fehoko suffered a quad contusion during Monday's practice and didn't participate Tuesday, but he should return later in the week, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Fehoko's injury appears minor, so there shouldn't be any concern about his availability for preseason action. The 2021 fifth-round pick has impressed during offseason work and is vying for the fourth wide receiver spot on Dallas' depth chart with Jalen Tolbert and KaVontae Turpin.

Coach Jonathan Gannon said Tuesday that Brown is tending to undisclosed "nicks and bruises," Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com reports.

According to Jose M. Romero of The Arizona Republic, Brown was limited at Monday's session before participating in the early portions of Tuesday's practice. It's unclear at this point if the wideout will suit up for the Cardinals' first exhibition game Friday, Aug. 11 versus the Broncos, but the team isn't likely to take any chances with him. In Brown's absence, Arizona's top wide receivers are Rondale Moore, Greg Dortch and Michael Wilson.

Harley (head) returned to the field Tuesday for practice, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

Harley suffered a concussion during practice Thursday and was in the league's concussion protocols. His return to the field should be good news for his recovery, but it's unclear if he'll be able to suit up Thursday against the Jets.

Darden is not practicing Tuesday due to a leg injury, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

Darden had been performing well during training camp, but his recent injury will leave him in danger of falling down the team's positional depth chart, as well as possibly missing Thursday's Hall of Fame Game against the Jets. He'll continue working to get healthy and back on the field.

Ridley (undisclosed) sat out portions of Tuesday's practice, the Jaguars' official site reports.

According to Channel 4 Jacksonville, Ridley stopped participating in drills midway through Tuesday's session and headed over to sit in the team's cooling tent. Though the wideout subsequently rejoined his teammates, Ridley didn't return to the field. With that in mind, it appears as though the 28-year-old's limitations weren't injury related, and chances are he'll be back in action the next time the Jaguars take the field.

Renfrow has avoided addressing trade rumors and recently said he'd like to prove the Raiders right for re-signing him, ESPN's Paul Gutierrez reports.

Renfrow's 2021 breakout led to a two-year, $32 million contract extension last summer, with new coach Josh McDaniels and new general manager Dave Ziegler apparently optimistic the slot receiver would continue the success he enjoyed under the previous regime. It didn't work out that way, as an oblique injury and concussion cost Renfrow seven games and contributed to a career-low 330 receiving yards, barely more than half of his previous low-water mark. The Raiders then signed Jakobi Meyers in March, which led to speculation Renfrow could be traded, although the current plan seems to involve Meyers playing the perimeter more than he did in New England. There's no financial incentive to release Renfrow, as he already received a $4.32 million roster bonus and his $6.5 million base salary for 2023 is guaranteed. A trade might make sense, but there's theoretically room for both Meyers and Renfrow to see a decent number of targets in a Raiders offense that lost TE Darren Waller and WR Mack Hollins this offseason -- especially if RB Josh Jacobs remains away from the team into September.

Coach Sean Payton confirmed Tuesday that Patrick sustained a torn Achilles on Monday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.

The 29-year-old wideout will miss a second consecutive season after an ACL tear last summer wiped out his 2022 campaign. Patrick will try to make it back next year for the final season of the three-year, $30 million contract extension he signed in 2021.

Nacua returned to practice Saturday after suffering from cramping Thursday, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.

Nacua shined during a practice that took place Saturday and was open to fans. Jackson specifically notes a 30-yard, over-the-shoulder catch near the corner of the end zone. Selected in the fifth round of the 2023 Draft, Nacua has the opportunity to move pretty far up the Rams' positional depth chart with not a lot of clarity in the pecking order behind Cooper Kupp and Van Jefferson.
