Jauan Jennings WR | MIN
49ers' Jauan Jennings: Finishes with no receptions
Jennings was held catchless (on one target) in Sunday's 30-7 win over the Steelers.
The 49ers had little use for its supporting cast after Brock Purdy, Christian McCaffrey and Brandon Aiyuk carried the offense to a comfortable victory. Jennings wound up seeing the field for 32 percent of the offense's plays, but that number should go up in games that are more competitive than Sunday's blowout. Jennings' next chance to record his first catch of the season will come in a road matchup against the Rams on Sunday.

Brandon Powell WR | MIN
Vikings' Brandon Powell: Limited to punt returns
Powell had four punt returns for 18 yards in Sunday's loss to Tampa Bay. He didn't play any snaps on offense.
Powell is the fifth receiver on the depth chart but may not get any snaps on offense unless there are injuries in the receiving corps. He'll be used as the primary punt returner, as well as the main kickoff returner.

Jalen Nailor WR | LV
Vikings' Jalen Nailor: Limited to special teams
Nailor had one tackle while playing 18 snaps on special teams in Sunday's loss to Tampa Bay. He didn't play a snap on offense.
Nailor is the No. 4 receiver on the depth chart, but he won't get much action in the passing game unless one of the Vikings' top three wideouts is injured. He made a big tackle as the gunner on the punt-return defensive unit.

Jakobi Meyers WR | JAC
Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: In concussion protocol
Meyers is in the league's five-step concussion protocol Monday, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.
Meyers suffered a concussion during Sunday's 17-16 win over the Broncos, a contest that saw him secure nine of 10 targets for 81 yards and two touchdowns. He suffered the injury on a hit from Kareem Jackson late in the fourth quarter. Meyers will need to gain full medical clearance before he can suit up again, making his status unclear for the Week 2 matchup in Buffalo. Hunter Renfrow would stand to step up behind Davante Adams if Meyers is forced to miss any time.

Olamide Zaccheaus WR | ATL
Eagles' Olamide Zaccheaus: Non-factor in Week 1
Zaccheaus saw the field for just seven offensive snaps Sunday against the Patriots and did not receive a target.
It's possible Zaccheaus' role grows as he gets more time with his new team, and it's possible the shoulder injury he dealt with in August affected his Week 1 workload, though he wasn't listed on the injury report prior to the game. As of now, however, he doesn't appear to be close to a fantasy-relevant role.

Quez Watkins WR | PHI
Eagles' Quez Watkins: Opens season with two catches
Watkins pulled in both of his targets for 17 yards in Sunday's 25-20 victory over New England.
Watkins averaged 1.9 catches and 20.8 yards per game last season, so his Week 1 performance was right in line with expectations. Jalen Hurts targeted his wideouts a total of 22 times Sunday, with Watkins claiming the only two targets which didn't go to A.J. Brown or DeVonta Smith. Watkins does at least have a firm grip on the third receiver job in Philadelphia, as he out-snapped Olamide Zaccheaus by a 52-7 margin, but as long as Brown and Smith are available, there likely won't be too many targets to go around.

Jamison Crowder WR | WAS
Commanders' Jamison Crowder: Joining active roster
The Commanders plan to sign Crowder to their active roster, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports.
Crowder just joined the Commanders' practice squad Wednesday, but with Dax Milne (groin) unable to play Sunday against the Cardinals, the veteran receiver was elevated to the active roster Saturday. He never saw the field on offense, but he did handle punt return duties, gaining 10 yards on three attempts. Now that he's in line to join the 53-man roster, he should maintain that role Sunday against the Broncos.

K.J. Osborn WR | TEN
Vikings' K.J. Osborn: Works as No. 2 WR in opener
Osborn had three receptions for 31 yards on six targets in Sunday's loss to Tampa Bay. He started at wide receiver opposite Justin Jefferson in a two-WR set.
Osborn played more snaps (58 to 36) than Jordan Addison, but Addison had the bigger game with four receptions for 61 yards and a touchdown. Osborn could have had a more productive game, but a pass thrown at him at the goal line was slightly underthrown and ripped away from him for an interception. Still, it shows that Addison, Minnesota's 2023 first-round draft pick, hasn't totally overtaken Osborn in the offense - yet.
-
Isaiah McKenzie WR | MIA
Colts' Isaiah McKenzie: Limited to punt returns
McKenzie had two punt returns for an average of 10 yards in Sunday's loss to Jacksonville. He played just one snap on offense and didn't have any targets.
McKenzie lost the starting slot receiver role to rookie Josh Downs, and it looks like he'll have a very limited role on offense. He'll be used as the team's punt returner.
-
Alec Pierce WR | IND
Colts' Alec Pierce: Just one reception in season opener
Pierce had one reception for five yards on three targets in Sunday's loss to Jacksonville.
Pierce started at wide receiver along with Josh Downs and Michael Pittman in a three-WR set and played on 66 of the offense's 72 snaps, but he had little production as Anthony Richardson rarely threw the ball deep. The coaching staff limited the game plan for Richardson in his NFL debut, so the team likely will feature a more vertical passing game later in the season. Pierce may have limited opportunities as a receiver until Richardson throws more long passes as Indy's primary deep threat.
