  • Jaguars' Parker Washington: Out for Week 5

Washington (knee) is ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bills.

Washington was a healthy scratch for Jacksonville's first three games of the season, and he injured his right knee in his NFL debut Week 4. The rookie's next chance to play will come Week 6 versus the Colts, though he could be a healthy inactive again if Jamal Agnew (quadriceps) is back on the field at that time.

  • Lions' Amon-Ra St. Brown: Won't practice Friday

Coach Dan Campbell noted that St. Brown (abdomen) is not in line to practice Friday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

The report adds that the Lions expect to know more about St. Brown's status for Sunday's game against the Panthers in the next 24 hours. With another absence on tap Friday, St. Brown will have missed the entire practice week, with added context regarding his Week 5 status set to arrive when Detroit's final injury report is posted.

  • Chase Claypool WR | BUF

Dolphins' Chase Claypool: Dealt to Dolphins

The Bears have agreed Friday to trade Claypool to the Dolphins, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Claypool, who was a healthy scratch for Chicago's win over the Commanders on Thursday night, is being traded to Miami in exchange for a 2025 swap of late-round picks, per Dianna Russini of The Athletic. The veteran wideout had clearly fallen out of favor with the Bears' coaching staff, as he racked up just four receptions for 51 yards and a touchdown on 14 targets through the Bears' first three games despite playing more than 75 percent of the offensive snaps. Now, Claypool will need to compete with Braxton Berrios, Cedrick Wilson and Robbie Chosen for snaps behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, making his path to fantasy relevance difficult to envision even if Miami's offense can utilize him more effectively.

  • Cooper Kupp WR | SEA

Rams' Cooper Kupp: Expected to play Sunday

The Rams expect Kupp (hamstring) to make his season debut Sunday versus Philadelphia, Dianna Russini of The Athletic reports.

Kupp, who was a full participant in practice Thursday, still resides on IR for the time being but looks to be trending toward an official return to Los Angeles' active roster in time for Sunday's matchup, barring any setbacks. The veteran wideout has been dealing with a hamstring issue that initially flared up back in training camp and led to him being placed on IR prior to Week 1 after a visit with a specialist. Friday's practice session will be telling as to Kupp's potential workload for Week 5.

  • Darnell Mooney WR | NYG

Bears' Darnell Mooney: Shut out in big win

Mooney failed to bring in any of his four targets in the Bears' 40-20 win over the Commanders on Thursday night.

Just four days after posting a serviceable 4-51 line against the Broncos, Mooney was surprisingly blanked on the stat sheet for the third time this season. The speedster's increasingly frequent disappearing acts are perplexing, especially considering he's working with a quarterback in Justin Fields that he already has plenty of familiarity with. Fellow wideout DJ Moore's increasingly critical role in the air attack (Moore lit it up with an 8-230-3 line Thursday) is naturally part of the reason for Mooney's downturn early this season, but the third-year pro could have a good chance to bounce back against a vulnerable Vikings secondary in a Week 6 home matchup Sunday, Oct. 15.

  • Curtis Samuel WR | BUF

Commanders' Curtis Samuel: Productive in blowout loss

Samuel brought in six of seven targets for 65 yards and a touchdown in the Commanders' 40-20 loss to the Bears on Thursday night.

The versatile veteran turned in a trademark performance, excelling as a mid-range target for Sam Howell and bringing in his first touchdown reception of the season on a three-yard grab in the fourth quarter. Samuel had dealt with a quadriceps injury on the short week, but his yardage total served as his best yet through five games and his reception tally was second only to that which he recorded in the overtime loss to the Eagles in Week 4. Samuel next takes aim at the Falcons defense in a Week 6 road matchup Sunday, Oct. 15.

  • Terry McLaurin WR | WAS

Commanders' Terry McLaurin: Four catches in Week 5 loss

McLaurin brought in four of five targets for 49 yards in the Commanders' 40-20 loss to the Bears on Thursday night.

The accomplished veteran was surprisingly quiet on a night when Sam Howell compiled a career-high 388 yards thanks to a large deficit. McLaurin finished tied for third in receptions and was fourth in receiving yards for the Commanders, with the downturn coming after a season-best 8-86 line versus the Eagles in the Week 4 overtime loss four days earlier. McLaurin's next opportunity to post his first 100-yard effort of the season comes in a Week 6 road matchup against the Falcons on Sunday, Oct. 15.

  • DJ Moore WR | BUF

Bears' DJ Moore: Explodes for career-best showing

Moore brought in eight of 10 targets for 230 yards and three touchdowns in the Bears' 40-20 win over the Commanders on Thursday night.

The prized offseason acquisition was coming off his most productive game in a Bears uniform yet in Week 4 against the Broncos, when he'd posted an 8-131-1 line. Moore managed to outdo himself by a wide margin on the same number of catches Thursday, hauling in touchdown grabs of 20, 11 and 56 yards, with the last two coming in contested situations. Moore's third scoring catch, which saw him run free 48 yards down the sideline into the end zone after the reception, sealed the game for Chicago by extending its 30-20 lead. Moore now has five touchdowns in five games after recording seven across 17 contests with the Panthers a year ago, and he'll next get a crack at a vulnerable Vikings defense in a Week 6 home matchup Sunday. Oct. 15.

  • Bears' Equanimeous St. Brown: Dealing with hamstring issue

St. Brown is questionable to return to Thursday's game against the Commanders due to a hamstring injury.

St. Brown was active for the second consecutive game as Chase Claypool (coach's decision) remains away from the team. He was targeted only once prior to suffering the injury, and it's unclear if he will be able to return.

  • Ben Skowronek WR | PIT

    Rams' Ben Skowronek: Practices Thursday

Skowronek (Achilles) was a full participant in practice Thursday after participating on a limited basis Wednesday, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.

The wide receiver suffered his Achilles injury in the Rams' Week 3 loss to the Bengals but then played in the team's Week 4 win over the Colts. The third-year pro and one-time seventh-round pick has been targeted four times through four games.
