  • Kadarius Toney WR | CLE

Chiefs' Kadarius Toney: Questionable for Saturday's game

Toney (hip/ankle) is listed as questionable for Saturday night's playoff opener against the Dolphins.

Toney, who missed the Chiefs' last three regular-season contests, was deemed a limited practice participant Tuesday through Thursday, which gives the wideout a chance to return to action this weekend. If he's available for Saturday's 8:00 p.m. ET kickoff, Toney and his teammates are in line to play through frigid weather conditions in Kansas City.

  • Justyn Ross WR | KC

Chiefs' Justyn Ross: Questionable for Saturday

Ross (hamstring) is listed as questionable ahead of Saturday's game against the Dolphins.

Ross could be trending in the right direction to suit up Saturday, as he began the Chiefs' week of practice with a DNP but followed that up with two consecutive limited sessions. If the 24-year-old is able to play in Kansas City's wild-card outing, he'd likely serve as a reserve option at wide receiver in addition to his usual special-teams duties.

  • Romeo Doubs WR | NE

Packers' Romeo Doubs: Remains limited Thursday

Doubs (chest) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

Though Doubs wouldn't go into specifics regarding the chest injury he sustained in Sunday's 17-9 win over the Bears that resulted in a brief hospitalization, the wideout told Demovsky on Thursday that he's "feeling normal" again. Doubs has opened the week of practice with a pair of limited sessions, and if he's able to upgrade to full activity Friday, he'll have a good chance at avoiding a designation for Sunday's wild-card game in Dallas. If, however, Doubs remains limited once again Friday, he'll most likely carry a questionable tag into the weekend.

  • DeVonta Smith WR | PHI

    Eagles' DeVonta Smith: Practicing Thursday

Smith (ankle) took part in Thursday's practice, EJ Smith of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Prior to the session, Smith told Eliot Shorr-Parks of Sports Radio 94 WIP Philadelphia regarding Monday's wild-card contest at Tampa Bay, "I'll be there. Count me in." After spraining his right ankle Week 17 against the Cardinals, Smith didn't practice last Wednesday through Friday before sitting out this past Sunday at the Giants. With some on-field work to kick off this week, he appears to be trending in the right direction as the Eagles prepare for their playoff opener.

  • A.J. Brown WR | NE

Eagles' A.J. Brown: Not practicing Thursday

Brown (knee) was a non-participant at Thursday's practice, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Since Brown left this past Sunday's loss at the Giants due to a knee injury, there hasn't been much intel regarding his health, other than a report from Mike Garafolo of NFL Network afterward in which Brown's issue wasn't believed to be a serious one. With three days to rest up before the Eagles' first session ahead of Monday's wild-card game in Tampa Bay, Brown focused on rehab versus on-field work Thursday, but he'll have two more chances to mix into drills and put himself on a path to play.

  • Gabe Davis WR | BUF

Bills' Gabe Davis: Idle for another practice

Davis (knee) isn't practicing Thursday, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.

With consecutive absences from practice to begin the week, Davis doesn't appear to be trending toward being available for Sunday's wild-card game against the Steelers. Davis, who exited the Bills' Week 18 win over the Dolphins with a PCL sprain, will likely need to get back on the practice field in some capacity Friday to have any shot at suiting up this weekend.

  • Cedric Tillman WR | CLE

Browns' Cedric Tillman: Won't play Saturday

Tillman (concussion) has been ruled out for Saturday's playoff opener against the Texans, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Tillman, who was forced out of the second half of this past Sunday's loss to Cincinnati due to a concussion, thus will target a potential return to action in the divisional round of the postseason, should Cleveland advance. In Tillman's absence, David Bell and/or Marquise Goodwin (knee) are candidates to log added snaps this weekend alongside the team's top wideouts Amari Cooper (heel) and Elijah Moore.

  • Noah Brown WR | WAS

Texans' Noah Brown: Returns to practice

Brown (back) returned to practice Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

After being listed as a non-participant both Tuesday and Wednesday, Brown's presence at Thursday's practice offers hope that he could be available for Saturday's playoff opener against the Browns. Houston will post its final injury report of the week later Thursday, when the wideout's official injury status for the wild-card game will be known.

  • River Cracraft WR | WAS

Dolphins' River Cracraft: Logs nine catches in 2023

Cracraft secured nine of 12 targets for 121 yards and one touchdown across 10 appearances during the 2023 season.

Cracraft's depth role on offense with the Dolphins actually allowed him to set career-high marks across the board on offense, though his six special-teams snaps were a career low. Having played two consecutive seasons on one-year deals with Miami, Cracraft's familiarity with coach Mike McDaniel's offensive system means it could make sense for the Dolphins to re-sign him again in free agency. In any case, he stands to handle his usual depth role during Saturday's wild-card matchup against the Chiefs.

  • Amari Cooper WR | LV

Browns' Amari Cooper: Back at practice Thursday

Cooper (heel/rest) returned to practice Thursday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

Cooper was listed as a non-participant both Tuesday and Wednesday, but the wideout's presence for practice Thursday aligns with his expectation of being available for Saturday's playoff opener against the Texans. The Browns' final injury report will be released later Thursday and clarify whether Cooper carries an injury designation into the weekend.
