  • Hayden Hatten WR | SEA

Hayden Hatten: Dropped on cutdown day

The Seahawks waived Hatten on Tuesday.

Hatten signed with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in May, and he was not able to carve out a roster spot this preseason. The 24-year-old wideout will now have to pass through waivers before becoming eligible to sign with a new team ahead of the 2024 campaign.

  • Isaiah Winstead: Waived by Jets

Winstead was waived by the Jets on Tuesday, Ethan Greenberg of the team's official site reports.

Winstead was signed by San Francisco as an undrafted free agent last May and spent most of the season on the team's practice squad. He signed with the Jets in early August of this year and got four targets during preseason play but didn't catch any of them.

  • Brandon Smith WR | PIT

Brandon Smith: Doesn't get roster spot

The Jets waived Smith on Tuesday, Ethan Greenberg of the team's official site reports.

Smith spent time in the Dallas and Arizona organizations prior to being signed by the Jets in early August, though he's yet to get into an NFL regular-season game. The receiver out of Iowa enjoyed a strong preseason for New York, catching all five of his targets for a team-leading 120 yards. That could help him land a spot on New York's practice squad if he clears waivers.

  • Tejhaun Palmer: Let go by Arizona

Palmer was waived by the Cardinals on Tuesday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.

The wide receiver was selected in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft by the Cardinals after catching 47 passes for 858 yards and eight scores at UAB last season. Though he has 4.45 speed, Palmer also turned 24 in May.

  • Lance McCutcheon: Let loose on cut-down day

The Jets waived McCutcheon on Tuesday, Ethan Greenberg of the team's official site reports.

McCutcheon finished last season on New York's practice squad and signed a reserve/future deal with the organization in January. The wideout struggled in preseason play, catching just two of seven targets for 25 yards.

  • Kearis Jackson WR | HOU

Kearis Jackson: Doesn't make Titans' 53-man roster

Jackson was waived by Tennessee on Tuesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.

Jackson didn't record a catch over the first two preseason games before missing Sunday's game against the Saints due to a knee injury. He wasn't waived with an injury designation, indicating that Jackson is healthy. Should he clear waivers, Jackson will explore his next options.

  • Bryce Oliver WR | TEN

Bryce Oliver: Let go by Tennessee

The Titans waived Oliver on Tuesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.

Oliver signed with the Titans in May as an undrafted free agent. The Youngstown State product entered training camp competing for a depth receiving role, and across three preseason games he accumulated eight catches on 11 targets for 90 yards and two touchdowns, both of which came in the preseason finale against the Saints on Sunday. Despite the strong finish, it wasn't enough for Oliver to crack the Titans' 53-man roster, though he could be invited back to join Tennessee's practice squad.

  • Collin Johnson: Let go by Chicago

Johnson was released by the Bears on Tuesday.

Johnson was unable to make the Bears' 53-man roster ahead of the 2024 campaign, and the 26-year-old wideout will look to catch on with another team this season. Despite flashing in some of his preseason opportunities, Johnson wasn't able to do enough to secure a roster spot in the Chicago's crowded receiver corps headlined by DJ Moore, Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze.

  • Ravens' Isaiah Washington: Moves to IR

Washington (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve by the Ravens on Tuesday, Clifton Brown of the team's official site reports.

The wide receiver signed with the Ravens in April after going undrafted. Washington played five years at Rutgers and recorded 74 catches for 927 yards and three scores in 58 games.

  • Keith Kirkwood WR | BAL

    Keith Kirkwood: Released by Baltimore

Kirkwood was released by the Ravens on Tuesday, Clifton Brown of the team's official site reports.

The wide receiver signed with the Ravens in June after participating in a minicamp tryout. Kirkwood appeared in 13 games for the Saints in 2023 and caught four passes for 37 yards and a touchdown.
