  • Nico Collins WR | HOU

Texans' Nico Collins: Limited in return to practice

Collins (concussion) was a limited practice participant Wednesday.

It's no surprise that Collins was limited in his return to practice after not participating at all last week. He's reportedly on track to be cleared from concussion protocol before Sunday's game against the Broncos, but there's still risk of a setback or stalled progress until that actually happens.

  • Jaguars' Brian Thomas: Listed as limited Wednesday

Thomas (shoulder) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Ryan McFadden of ESPN.com reports.

Thomas practiced with a harness over his shoulder, apparently still dealing with discomfort after a Week 8 bye. It sounds like he's gearing up to play this Sunday in Las Vegas, but the injury could impact his performance even if it doesn't threaten his availability.

  • Anthony Gould WR | IND

Colts' Anthony Gould: Opens week with DNP

Gould (knee) did not participate in Wednesday's practice.

Gould sustained a knee injury during the Colts' Week 8 win over the Titans, when he played 10 snaps (three on offense, seven on special teams) and logged 33 yards on two kickoff returns and 42 yards on two punt returns. He'll have two more opportunities to return to practice and avoid an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Steelers, but if he isn't cleared to play, then Ashton Dulin would stand to take on most of the kickoff and punt return responsibilities for the Colts.

  • Marvin Mims WR | DEN

Broncos' Marvin Mims: Not practicing Wednesday

Mims (concussion) didn't practice Wednesday, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports.

Per Tomasson, Mims, who is in concussion protocol in the wake of this past Sunday's 44-24 win over the Cowboys, was able to work on a side field Wednesday. The wideout thus has two more chances to practice fully before Denver's Week 9 injury designations are posted. Through eight games thus far, Mims has been a hit-or-miss fantasy option, recording a 22/234/1 receiving line on 32 targets in that span.

  • Rashid Shaheed WR | SEA

Saints' Rashid Shaheed: Tending to hip issue

Shaheed was limited in practice Wednesday due to a hip injury.

This is a new health concern for Shaheed, who previously wasn't listed as limited at any point in the 2025 campaign. He's coming off a performance Sunday against the Buccaneers in which he earned a season-high 12 targets, turning them into nine catches for 75 yards. New Orleans is making a change under center moving forward, with rookie second-round pick Tyler Shough taking over for second-year pro Spencer Rattler. Whether or not that'll be a boon to the team's pass catchers remains to be seen, but first Shaheed's status will be monitored as the week continues to ensure he'll be out there Sunday at the Rams.

  • Stefon Diggs WR | NE

Patriots' Stefon Diggs: Logs limited practice Wednesday

Diggs (ankle) was limited at practice Wednesday.

Diggs, who has suited up for all eight of the Patriots' regular-season games thus far, had been managing a chest issue, but now the wideout is listed as having been limited Wednesday by an ankle injury. So far there's nothing to suggest that Diggs -- who leads the team with 42 catches -- is in danger of missing Sunday's game against the Falcons, but his status is worth monitoring and confirming later this week, nonetheless.

  • Packers' Christian Watson: Remains limited at practice

Watson (knee) practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday.

Watson returned to action this past Sunday at Pittsburgh for the first time since he sustained a torn ACL in his right knee Week 18 of last season, logging 56 percent of the snaps while running a route on 62 percent of them en route to four catches (on four targets) for 85 yards. He may endure practice limitations until the Packers deem him 100 percent, but he at least is healthy enough to be available on game days. Ultimately, though, Friday's injury report will reveal whether or not Watson has a designation ahead of Sunday's contest against the Panthers.

  • Drake London WR | ATL

    Falcons' Drake London: Limited Wednesday

London (hip) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.

Per Josh Kendall of The Athletic, London mixed into team drills to begin Week 9 prep, but he didn't log enough work for him to be listed as more than limited. London showed up on last Friday's injury report the same way before Atlanta tagged him as questionable Saturday and eventually inactive this past Sunday against the Dolphins. Both London and No. 1 QB Michael Penix (knee) missed that contest, but both operated with a cap on their reps Wednesday, which generally is a decent sign that the Falcons offense may have everyone available Sunday in New England.

  • Puka Nacua WR | LAR

Rams' Puka Nacua: Limited in practice Wednesday

Rams coach Sean McVay said Nacua (ankle) will be limited in practice Wednesday , Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.

Nacua is back on the practice field for the first time since suffering a low left-ankle sprain versus Baltimore in Week 6. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Nacua is expected to return to the starting lineup Sunday versus New Orleans, but unless he's able to upgrade to full practice reps Thursday and/or Friday, the star wideout will likely carry an injury designation into the weekend. McVay confirmed Wednesday that barring any setbacks, Nacua is trending toward a return versus New Orleans, Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times reports.

  • 49ers' Ricky Pearsall: Not practicing yet

Pearsall (knee) isn't practicing Wednesday, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.

He hasn't practiced or played since Week 4, and the 49ers haven't provided much information beyond listing him as such on the final injury report. They did elect not to place Pearsall on injured reserve, hinting at a week-to-week outlook even though he's now been out for more than a month. In any case, the continued absences from practice don't bode well for a Week 9 appearance this Sunday at the Giants.
