  • Mike Evans WR | SF

Buccaneers' Mike Evans: Misses practice with leg injury

Evans was held out of Thursday's practice with a nagging leg injury, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.

Buccaneers coach Todd Bowles suggested Thursday that Evans aggravated a prior injury during Sunday's 51-27 win over the Saints, which may explain why the wideout played only 44 percent of snaps after halftime. He wasn't on the injury report last week, but back in Week 5 the Bucs listed him with knee and calf injuries (which didn't stop Evans from scoring two TDs against Atlanta). Bowles said Evans is already making progress and should return to practice before Monday's game against the Ravens, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

  • Josh Downs WR | IND

Colts' Josh Downs: Returns to practice Thursday

Downs (toe) is participating in practice Thursday, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.

Downs and fellow starting wideout Michael Pittman (back) both missed Wednesday's practice and are back on the field Thursday. During Indianapolis' win over the Titans in Week 6, Downs secured seven of his team-high nine targets for 66 yards and a score, while playing a season-high 80 percent of offensive snaps. He entered the game against Tennessee carrying a 'questionable' designation, and it sounds like Downs will again attempt to play through injury Sunday against Miami. Notably, the Colts anticipate getting quarterback Anthony Richardson back in the starting lineup versus the Dolphins.

  • Colts' Michael Pittman: Back at practice

Pittman (back) is participating in Thursday's practice, James Boyd of The Athletic reports.

Pittman is back at practice Thursday after having missed Wednesday's session, with the same going for fellow starting wideout Josh Downs (toe). During Indianapolis' win over the Titans in Week 6, Pittman played through his back injury and corralled three of five targets for 35 yards and a touchdown. It looks like Pittman will again attempt to play through his back issue Sunday versus Miami, a game in which Anthony Richardson should be back in the starting lineup.

  • Cardinals' Marvin Harrison: Wearing non-contact jersey Thursday

Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon said Thursday that Harrison (concussion) will practice while wearing a non-contact jersey, Theo Mackie of The Arizona Republic reports.

Gannon said Harrison's progress has been "very encouraging," but the rookie first-round pick will still need to gain full clearance -- including from an independent neurologist -- in order to be eligible to suit up for Monday's home game against the Chargers. Harrison was forced out of Arizona's loss to Green Bay in Week 6 during the second quarter and placed in the NFL's concussion protocol. In the event that Harrison doesn't gain clearance in time to play Week 7, Michael Wilson will be in position to step up as the Cardinals' top wide receiver.

  • Malik Nabers WR | NYG

Giants' Malik Nabers: In final stage of protocol

Giants head coach Brian Daboll said Thursday that Nabers (concussion) is in the final stage of the NFL's concussion protocol and will be listed as a full participant in practice, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.

Daboll said the hope is for Nabers to gain clearance from an independent neurologist in time to suit up for Sunday's divisional matchup against the Eagles, per Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record, while Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com confirms that the wideout will be listed as a full participant on Thursday's practice report. The rookie first-round pick was listed as limited Wednesday after having missed back-to-back games. Nabers' progress is encouraging, but he'll need to gain full clearance from the five-step concussion protocol to be available at home Sunday versus Philadelphia.

  • Mike Williams WR | LAC

Jets' Mike Williams: Back with team Thursday

Williams is present at Jets team facilities Thursday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

Williams missed Wednesday's walk-through practice due to what was termed as a personal matter, presumably as a direct result of reports that New York is trying to trade him following the acquisition of Davante Adams on Tuesday. With the NFL's trade deadline still three weeks away, Williams' status with the team heading into Sunday's game against the Steelers remains murky. Allen Lazard and Garrett Wilson seem locked in alongside Adams as the Jets' preferred three-wideout arrangement, as Williams has managed just 10 receptions for 145 yards and no touchdowns on 17 targets through the first six games of the season. Dianna Russini of The Athletic relays that the Chargers, Steelers and Saints are among the team who have reached out to the Jets about acquiring Williams, who is playing under a one-year, $10 million contract, though only $1.26 million of the contract derives from his base salary.

  • Jamari Thrash WR | CLE

Browns' Jamari Thrash: Moves up depth chart

Thrash should move from inactive on game days to the bottom of the wide-receiver depth chart following the trade of Amari Cooper to Buffalo, The Athletic reports.

Thrash, a fifth-round draft pick in 2024, has not suited up for any of the Browns' six games to date, but that is likely to change Week 7 against Cincinnati. He's unlikely to reap much fantasy benefit, but with David Bell (hip) done for the season and other wide receivers in the organizational orbit on the practice squad, Thrash should be fourth on the depth chart Sunday. That puts him in line for a potential role and opportunities.

  • Cooper Kupp WR | SEA

Rams' Cooper Kupp: Limited in return to practice

Kupp (ankle) practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.

Prior to Wednesday's session, head coach Sean McVay revealed that Kupp would take part in individual work but not team drills in his first visible on-field work since he suffered a left high-ankle sprain Week 2, per Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic. At the same time, McVay told Barshop that Kupp is "trending in the right direction, but we'll see exactly what that means as the week progresses." Kupp then looked spry while running routes and hauling in passes Wednesday, according to Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times. Kupp will need to get through the week unscathed in order to have a chance to return to action Sunday versus the Raiders, but he at least appears to be in a good spot.

  • Elijah Moore WR | PHI

Browns' Elijah Moore: Not on injury report

Moore (rib) doesn't appear on the Browns' initial Week 7 injury report that was released Wednesday.

Per Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com, head coach Kevin Stefanski said after Sunday's 20-16 loss to the Eagles that Moore was dealing with a rib issue, but the injury is evidently not a concern for the wideout as this weekend's contest against the Bengals approaches. Through six games to date, Moore has caught 16 of his 23 targets for 95 yards, but he could see added opportunities in Cleveland's offense moving forward following the departure of Amari Cooper, who led the team with 53 targets prior to being traded to the Bills on Tuesday.

  • 49ers' Ricky Pearsall: Logs full practice Wednesday

Pearsall (chest) was a full practice participant Wednesday, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.

After the 49ers designated him to return from the reserve/non-football injury list Monday, Pearsall managed to handle every rep in his first official practice since he sustained gunshot wound during an attempted robbery Aug. 31. Currently, the team has a 21-day window in which to evaluate the rookie first-rounder and add him back to the active roster. With Deebo Samuel (wrist) a limited participant and Jauan Jennings (hip) not practicing Wednesday, there may be reason for San Francisco to need reinforcements at wide receiver Sunday against the Chiefs.
