Darren Waller TE | MIA
Dolphins' Darren Waller: Logs limited practice Tuesday
Waller (hip) was a limited participant at the Dolphins' practice Tuesday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Waller is considered unlikely to play Thursday night against the Bills, but his ability to practice in any capacity Tuesday is a step in the right direction. Head coach Mike McDaniel said Tuesday in reference to both Waller and running back Jaylen Wright (knee) that the team will "see how the rest of the week goes," and that "they're putting their best foot forward." Waller will likely have to set his sights on making his Dolphins debut in Week 4 versus the Jets on Monday Night Football.

Qadir Ismail TE | JAC
Qadir Ismail: Let go by Giants
The Giants cut Ismail from the practice squad Tuesday, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports.
Ismail caught on with the Giants in late August after failing to make the Raiders' 53-man roster at the end of training camp. He'll now be on the lookout to join a team in need of tight end depth.

Ross Dwelley TE | DET
Ross Dwelley: Gets opportunity with Detroit
The Lions signed Dwelley to the practice squad Tuesday.
Sam LaPorta and Brock Wright are the Lions' two healthy tight ends on the 53-man roster after Shane Zylstra (ankle) was placed on injured reserve, so Dwelley could be elevated from the practice squad for Detroit's Week 3 clash against Baltimore on Monday. Dwelley appeared in 17 regular-season games for the Falcons in 2024, splitting his time between offense (104 snaps) and special teams (165 snaps) and finishing with one catch for five yards.

Shane Zylstra TE | DET
Lions' Shane Zylstra: Placed on injured reserve
The Lions placed Zylstra (ankle) on injured reserve Tuesday.
Zylstra suffered an ankle injury during the Lions' Week 2 win over the Bears. He is required to miss at least the next four games, which makes Week 7 against the Buccaneers on Sunday, Oct. 20 the earliest he can return. Sam LaPorta and Brock Wright are the Lions' two lone tight ends on the 53-man roster, but Detroit shored up its depth at the position by signing Ross Dwelley to the practice squad.

Cade Otton TE | TB
Buccaneers' Cade Otton: First three catches of season
Otton brought in three of four targets for 25 yards in the Buccaneers' 20-19 win over the Texans on Monday night.
Otton recorded a robust 91 percent snap share (73 snaps) on the night and was able to get on the stat sheet for the first time in 2025 with his trio of catches. Backup tight end Payne Durham logged just 17 snaps (21.0 percent share), so Otton remains the clear-cut top pass-catching option at the position, although it's disappointing to see he's drawn only seven targets through two games despite the absences of Chris Godwin (ankle) and Jalen McMillan (IR-neck).

Will Dissly TE | LAC
Chargers' Will Dissly: Secures lone target in win
Dissly caught his only target for seven yards in the 20-9 win over the Raiders on Monday.
For a second consecutive week, Dissly played fewer snaps (23) than Tyler Conklin (29), but neither tight end was asked to do much more than block with the game relatively in hand throughout. So long as the wideout trio of Ladd McConkey, Quentin Johnston and Keenan Allen remain healthy, the Chargers' other pass-catchers won't see much target volume.
-
Tyler Conklin TE | LAC
Chargers' Tyler Conklin: Shut out in win
Conklin did not record a target in the 20-9 win over the Raiders on Monday.
Conklin once again played more than Will Dissly (29 snaps compared to 23), but neither tight end was featured much in the passing game. So long as Justin Herbert stay healthy, the Chargers will likely feature their top trio of wide receivers -- Ladd McConkey, Keenan Allen and Quentin Johnston -- whenever possible, leaving little volume for other targets.
-
Harrison Bryant TE | HOU
Texans' Harrison Bryant: Targeted once in loss
Bryant did not catch his lone target in Monday's 20-19 loss to Tampa Bay.
Bryant was added to the 53-man roster following an injury to Cade Stover (foot). He was on the field for 37 percent of the offensive snaps, significantly lower than the 57 percent Stover had in Week 1.
-
Michael Mayer TE | LV
Raiders' Michael Mayer: Nabs two receptions Monday
Mayer has two receptions on as many targets for nine yards in Monday's 20-9 loss to the Chargers.
Mayer was likely swooped up by concerned Brock Bowers (knee) managers this weekend after the star tight end was in jeopardy of missing Monday's contest. The latter wound up suiting up and playing his regular allotment of snaps, limiting Mayer to his usual backup role and marginal production. With Bowers finishing Monday's contest without issue, Mayer will return to fantasy irrelevance Week 3.

Brock Bowers TE | LV
Raiders' Brock Bowers: No limitations on MNF
Bowers (knee) corralled five of eight targets for 38 yards in Monday's 20-9 loss to the Chargers.
Bowers was able to suit up after injuring his knee Week 1 and being limited to just one practice Saturday. The budding superstar wore a bulky brace on his left knee but otherwise was unaffected by the injury that threatened his status for Monday's primetime matchup. Bowers' pedestrian stat line was the result of a horrid passing night from QB Geno Smith, who completed just 55 percent of his pass attempts while throwing three interceptions. With the injury scare behind him, Bowers and the entire Las Vegas offense will look to right the ship in a road tilt against the Commanders on Sunday.
