  • Eagles' Grant Calcaterra: No targets in Week 3

Calcaterra was not targeted a single time in Sunday's 33-26 win over the Rams.

Calcaterra caught just one pass as the Eagles' top tight end in Week 2, but his role got even smaller due to Dallas Goedert being back in action in Week 3. Calcaterra barely even saw the field, playing just 12 offensive snaps as the Eagles spent most of the game in one tight-end sets while trailing for most of the game.

  • Ross Dwelley TE | DET

Ross Dwelley: Back to practice squad

Dwelley reverted to the Lions' practice squad Tuesday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Dwelley was elevated to the Lions' active roster for Monday's 38-30 win over the Ravens, when he played 16 snaps (four on offense, 12 on special teams) without showing up on the box score otherwise. He was signed to the Lions' practice squad Sept. 16 and can be elevated to the active roster twice more this season.

  • Elijah Arroyo TE | SEA

Seahawks' Elijah Arroyo: Deemed limited for walkthrough

Arroyo (groin) was estimated as a limited participant in Tuesday's practice walkthrough, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Arroyo was was also estimated as a limited participant Monday, so his status for Thursday's Week 4 matchup against Arizona is very much up in the air. The rookie tight end logged a season-high 28 offensive snaps in Sunday's win over New Orleans, but he came away from that contest with a groin injury. If he's unable to suit up Thursday, Eric Saubert would presumably work as Seattle's No. 2 tight end behind AJ Barner.

  • Zaire Mitchell-Paden: Back to practice squad

Mitchell-Paden reverted to the Ravens' practice squad Tuesday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Mitchell-Paden played 22 snaps (15 on offense, seven on special teams) but did not show up in the box score otherwise during the Ravens' 38-30 loss to the Lions on Monday. Mitchell-Paden has been elevated from the practice squad three times already, which means the Ravens will need to sign him to the active roster in order for him to continue to play with the team.

  • Caden Prieskorn: Gets opportunity with Tampa Bay

The Buccaneers signed Prieskorn to the practice squad Tuesday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.

Prieskorn will be on his third team this season after being let go by the Lions and the Broncos in May and August, respectively. The undrafted rookie out of Ole Miss will provide the Bucs with depth at tight end after Ko Kieft (leg) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.

  • Brock Wright TE | DET

Lions' Brock Wright: Limited impact in win

Wright did not garner a target in Monday's 38-30 win over the Ravens.

Wright played 38 of the team's 68 offensive snaps, but his impact came purely as a run blocker in the team's victory. With a healthy Sam LaPorta available, Wright doesn't have much upside as a receiving option for Detroit.

  • Saints' Moliki Matavao: Returning to New Orleans

The Saints signed Matavao to the active roster Tuesday, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports.

The rookie seventh-rounder saw sparse playing time through the first two games of the regular season before being waived by the Saints on Saturday. Now that he's back in New Orleans, Matavao will serve as the TE3 behind Juwan Johnson and Jack Stoll.

  • Ko Kieft TE | TB

Buccaneers' Ko Kieft: Could miss rest of 2025

The Buccaneers placed Kieft on injured reserve Tuesday due to a leg injury, Greg Auman of Fox Sports reports.

Kieft likely suffered the injury during the Buccaneers' 29-27 win over the Jets on Sunday. His placement on IR means he'll be forced to miss at least the next four games, but the injury could sideline the 2022 sixth-rounder for the rest of the season, per Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times. Kieft's absence opens the door for Devin Culp to serve as the Bucs' TE3 behind Cade Otton and Payne Durham.

  • Lucas Krull TE | DEN

Broncos' Lucas Krull: One catch in loss

Krull caught one of his two targets for nine yards in Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Chargers.

Krull played 22 of Broncos' 52 offensive snaps, the most of any Denver tight end ahead of both Adam Trautman (19) and Nate Adkins (18). With teammate Evan Engram (back) ruled out for the contest, Krull was unable to make the most of his opportunity atop the depth chart. Even if Engram is forced to miss more time, the 27-year-old Krull remains far off the fantasy radar due to his limited role in Denver's passing attack. Next up for the Broncos is a matchup against the Bengals in Week 4.

  • Adam Trautman TE | DEN

Broncos' Adam Trautman: Not involved in Week 3

Trautman failed to record a single target in Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Chargers.

Trautman was a nonfactor against the Chargers despite teammate Evan Engram (back) being ruled out for the contest. The veteran tight end played just 19 of the Broncos' 52 offensive snaps, second among Denver tight ends behind Lucas Krull (22). Even with Engram sidelined, Trautman remains difficult to trust for fantasy purposes based on his limited usage in the passing game. Fantasy managers should not rely on the 28-year-old in a Week 4 matchup against the Bengals, even if Engram misses more time.
