  • Trey McBride TE | ARI

Cardinals' Trey McBride: Expected to play Sunday

McBride (groin) is likely to play in Sunday's game against the Steelers, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

McBride popped up with a groin injury that sidelined him during practice Wednesday. However, he was able to participate in a limited fashion Thursday and Friday, and it looks he's on track to suit up for his 13th game this season Sunday. McBride's ultimate availability will come down to Arizona's actives/inactives list released 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff in Pittsburgh.

  • Packers' Henry Pearson: Elevated for gameday

The Packers have elevated Pearson to the active roster ahead of Sunday's game versus Kansas City.

Pearson was also elevated for the win verus Detroit last week, though he played just two of his 13 snaps on offense during this contest. The undrafted rookie out of Appalachain State could suit up for the second week in a row, as tight end/halfback Josiah Deguara (hip) is once again questionable to play Week 13. Pearson should continue to serve primarily on special teams and as a blocker on offense if Deguara is ultimately ruled inactive for the second week in a row.

  • Lucas Krull TE | DEN

Broncos' Lucas Krull: Bumped up Saturday

The Broncos elevated Krull to their active roster Saturday, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports.

Krull has spent the majority of the season on Denver's practice squad, and he's now been activated to the team's active roster for the second time this year. The 25-year-old tight end saw playing time in the Broncos' Week 10 win over the Bills, as he was on the field for a total of 26 snaps (20 offensive and six on special teams).

  • Parker Hesse TE | DET

Falcons' Parker Hesse: Joins active roster

The Falcons elevated Hesse to their active roster Saturday, Scott Balr of the team's official site reports.

The 28-year-old tight end is in line to make his third appearance of Atlanta's 2023 campaign this Sunday. Over the course of his three-year NFL career, Hesse has appeared in 27 games (all with the Falcons), catching 14 of his 17 targets for 132 yards.

  • Jaguars' Brenton Strange: Trending in wrong direction

Strange (foot) is listed as questionable ahead of Monday night's game against the Bengals, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.

Strange seems to be trending toward not playing in Monday night's affair, as he's gone from limited participation at Friday's practice to a DNP on Saturday. With both Strange and Luke Farrell (toe) potentially missing Week 13, Evan Engram is the only tight end on Jacksonville's roster without an injury designation.

  • Chargers' Stephen Anderson: Joins active roster

The Chargers elevated Anderson to their active roster Saturday.

The veteran tight end's elevation is likely in response to Nick Vannett (concussion) being ruled out for Sunday's contest. Anderson's most recent in-game action came in 2022 with the Cardinals, but he also appeared in 34 games for the Chargers from 2019-21.

  • Princeton Fant TE | DAL

Princeton Fant: Goes back to practice squad

Fant reverted to Dallas' practice squad Friday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Fant played 15 snaps during Thursday's win versus the Seahawks, all of them on special teams. With Peyton Hendershot on track to return to action in Week 14, Fant will likely remain on the practice squad for the foreseeable future.

  • Brevin Jordan TE | HOU

Texans' Brevin Jordan: In line for bigger workload

Jordan is in line for an elevated workload Sunday against the Broncos with Dalton Schultz (hamstring) ruled out for that contest, Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Schultz wasn't able to practice this week due to a hamstring injury, and with his status now confirmed for Week 13 action, Jordan and Eric Saubert figure to earn increased snap counts in the short term. Through eight appearances this season, Jordan has hauled in six of seven targets for 60 yards and one touchdown, so the bigger workload may not result in added attention from quarterback C.J. Stroud. Still, Saubert has no catches to his name in three games with the Texans in 2023, meaning Jordan likely is the better bet among the two to make a mark in the box score.

  • Eagles' Grant Calcaterra: Could return Week 13

Calcaterra (ankle) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the 49ers, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Calcaterra seems to be trending in the right direction to play Sunday, as he was able to log a limited practice session Friday after recording DNPs on Wednesday and Thursday. The second-year tight end could be in for a larger offensive role if he's able to suit up this weekend, with Dallas Goedert (forearm) likely missing Week 13.

  • Nick Vannett TE | LAR

Chargers' Nick Vannett: Won't play at New England

Vannett (concussion) is listed as out for Sunday's game at New England.

Vannett will sit out a second consecutive game in Week 13 as he continues to recover from a concussion. His being sidelined means the Chargers will likely have to rely more heavily on Stone Smartt on Sunday.
