The Browns claimed Wright off waivers from the Eagles on Tuesday.

Wright is on the Browns' 90-man roster one day after being waived by the Eagles. The Ole Miss product is a long shot to make Cleveland's 53-man roster for the upcoming season, but a strong audition in training camp and preseason games could be enough for him to stick around on the practice squad.

The Falcons signed Muse to a contract Tuesday, Tori McElhaney of the team's official site reports.

Muse will join the Falcons two days after being released from the Lions' 90-man roster. The 2022 seventh-rounder will join the Falcons for training camp and have the opportunity to audition for a spot on the 53-man roster or practice squad for the start of the 2026 season. Muse last saw regular-season action in 2024 with the Vikings, when he totalled 64 snaps (17 on offense, 47 on special teams) across four games.

Whyle (neck) is back practicing Tuesday, Weston Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.

Whyle was absent from practice Sunday due a neck injury, but the absence was short-lived. The 26-year-old has appeared to emerge as the tight end No. 3 for Green Bay, but he will now be back to taking first-team reps while Tucker Kraft (knee) and Luke Musgrave (neck) continue to rehab their respective injuries.

Sadiq (hernia) isn't practicing Tuesday, but he's improved enough to jog on the sidelines while observing practice, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Jets coach Aaron Glenn said last week that Sadiq had suffered a setback in his recovery but that the rookie was still expected to be ready for Week 1. Coming back from hernia surgery this spring, Sadiq has missed much of the offseason program and all of training camp, making it difficult for him to earn a significant Week 1 role. He nonetheless figures to contribute in some fashion this season after the Jets drafted him 16th overall in April. Mason Taylor will continue to draw first-team reps until Sadiq is cleared to practice.

Detroit released Firkser (leg) from its injured-reserve list with an injury settlement Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Firkser was going to have to spend the entire 2026 campaign on the Lions' injured-reserve list, but the move means he'll instead hit the open market. Over seven regular-season games with Detroit in 2025, he caught eight of 10 targets for 53 yards.

Coach DeMeco Ryans said Monday that Jordan (knee) is day-to-day, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

There doesn't seem to be reason to believe it's a severe injury at this point, but it brings Jordan's availability for Thursday's preseason game versus the Chargers into question. Until he's back, rookie second-rounder Marlin Klein could see an uptick in reps.

Adkins (undisclosed) participated during the Broncos' training camp practice Monday, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.

Adkins left practice with a trainer Friday after presumably suffering some type of injury, but it looks like it wasn't anything too serious. He'll continue to compete with the likes of rookie fifth-rounder Justin Joly and Lucas Krull for a depth role at tight end during the upcoming campaign.

The Eagles waived Wright on Monday.

The undrafted free agent out of Ole Miss signed with the Eagles after the 2026 NFL Draft. Wright was always facing long odds to stick on the 53-man roster, considering Dallas Goedert, rookie Eli Stowers, Johnny Mundt and Grant Calcaterra were all ahead of him on the positional depth chart. If Wright clears waivers, he'll be able to sign with any franchise.

The Panthers waived Metayer on Monday, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.

Metayer signed with the Panthers in late July. The undrafted free agent out of Arizona State initially joined the Steelers after the draft before being waived in early June. The tight end's longshot 53-man roster bid will come to an early conclusion, as the team utilized his spot to sign guard Joshua Gray in a corresponding move.

Kittle (Achilles) was seen running routes, catching passes and doing conditioning work prior to Monday's practice, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

According to Wagoner, it was the most extensive work Kittle has done at practice this summer, as he continues to work his way back from a torn Achilles. Kittle remains on the active/PUP list for San Francisco, but he's continued to say he's on track to play Week 1 against the Rams in 31 days. He'll turn 33 years old in two months but figures to remain a red-zone presence for Brock Purdy. Kittle is no longer a top-tier fantasy tight end, but he should be productive when on the field in an efficient 49ers offense.
