Juwan Johnson TE | NO
Saints' Juwan Johnson: Suiting up Sunday
Johnson (ankle) is listed as active Sunday against the Saints.
Johnson was contained to a pair of limited practices during Week 5 prep due to an ankle injury, but he'll ditch his questionable designation and be available to New Orleans' offense Sunday. He's welcoming back fellow TEs Taysom Hill (knee) and Foster Moreau (knee) to the lineup for the first time this season, but Johnson still should remain the most consistent pass catcher among the trio for QB Spencer Rattler. Johnson has racked up a respectable 22-204-1 line on 32 targets in four games on the campaign.

Michael Mayer TE | LV
Raiders' Michael Mayer: Sidelined again in Week 5
Mayer (concussion) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Colts.
Though Mayer was a limited participant in practice throughout the week, he wasn't able to make enough progress in his recovery from the brain injury to clear the NFL's five-step concussion protocol. Mayer typically serves as the Raiders' No. 2 tight end when he's available, but his absence will loom larger in Week 5 since starter Brock Bowers (knee) is inactive for the first time in his career. With Bowers and Mayer in street clothes, the Raiders are left with Ian Thomas, Carter Runyon and practice-squad call-up Albert Okwuegbunam as their available options in the position group.

Taysom Hill TE | NO
Saints' Taysom Hill: Set for season debut Sunday
Hill (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Saints.
Hill is making his first appearance since Week 13 of the 2024 campaign, when he suffered a torn ACL in his left knee. After the Saints designated him for return from the reserve/PUP list last Monday, he operated with a cap on his reps during Week 5 prep and then was activated from the PUP list Saturday. Jeff Duncan of The Athletic reported earlier Sunday that Hill is poised to take on his typical gadget role while serving as a tight end and reserve quarterback, meaning all of passes, runs and targets will be on the docket for the 35-year-old.

Brock Bowers TE | LV
Raiders' Brock Bowers: Missing first game of career
Bowers (knee) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Colts.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Bowers is tending to a PCL injury and bone bruise to his knee, an issue he had been playing through since getting hurt during the Raiders' Week 1 win over the Patriots. His performance had been affected while he played at less than 100 percent over the last few weeks, with Bowers being limited to fewer than 50 receiving yards in each of the subsequent three contests. Though he opened Week 5 prep as a limited participant, Bowers ended up sitting out sessions Thursday and Friday with the hope that the added rest would put him in a better spot physically heading into game day. Ultimately, Bowers didn't heal enough for the Raiders to feel comfortable making him active Sunday, so the second-year tight end will end up missing the first game of his career. With Michael Mayer (concussion) also inactive, the Raiders will be left with Ian Thomas, Carter Runyon and practice-squad call-up Albert Okwuegbunam as their available options at tight end for Week 5. Schefter adds that the Raiders are viewing Bowers as week-to-week, and the team will re-evaluate him within the next few days before determining whether he'll be available for next Sunday's game against the Titans.

Taysom Hill TE | NO
Saints' Taysom Hill: Set to fill gadget role in Week 5
Hill (knee) remains listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants, but he's expected to be available for the contest in his typical gadget role, Jeff Duncan of The Athletic reports.
Hill's availability won't be confirmed until the Saints release their inactive list 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff, but the team's decision to activate him from the reserve/PUP list Saturday had already suggested that he was on track to make his 2025 debut this weekend. Duncan notes that the Saints plan to list Hill as their top backup quarterback behind starting Spencer Rattler, likely indicating that rookie second-round pick Tyler Shough will be inactive as the team's emergency third quarterback. Though the Saints may want to ease Hill into the mix with a light workload coming off the torn ACL he sustained last December, the 35-year-old projects to see some carries Sunday and potentially even some looks in the passing game when he lines up as a tight end.

Ben Yurosek TE | MIN
Vikings' Ben Yurosek: Not available Sunday
Yurosek (knee) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Browns in London.
Yurosek will miss his second straight game due to the knee injury he sustained in the Vikings' Week 3 win over the Bengals. The undrafted rookie tight end has held a minor role on offense over his three appearances this season, but his absence will be more noteworthy on special teams, where he's a regular part of the Vikings' coverage units.

Brock Bowers TE | LV
Raiders' Brock Bowers: Likely to sit out with PCL injury
Bowers, who is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts, has been playing through a PCL injury and bone bruise on his knee that has affected his performance, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
The report notes that doctors have indicated rest is the tight end's path to moving past the issue, an approach that Schefter suggests Bowers has reluctant to take thus far. On Saturday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported that Bowers is trending toward not playing Sunday, while Schefter relayed that fellow tight end Michael Mayer (concussion) is also is line to sit out Week 5. In the event that both players are made inactive ahead of the 1 p.m. ET kickoff, Ian Thomas, Carter Runyon and Albert Okwuegbunam would be the team's available options at tight end.

Lucas Krull TE | DEN
Broncos' Lucas Krull: Suffers broken foot, placed on IR
The Broncos placed Krull on injured reserve Saturday due to a broken foot, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports.
Krull suffered the injury in practice this week and will now miss at least the next four games, though his absence could extend beyond that. Krull has appeared in two games this season, securing two passes for 15 yards on four targets.
-
Moliki Matavao TE | NO
Moliki Matavao: Cut by New Orleans
The Saints waived Matavao on Saturday.
New Orleans selected Matavao in the seventh round of the 2025 Draft, and he's appeared in three games this season. However, he's seen just 12 snaps on special teams.

Foster Moreau TE | NO
Saints' Foster Moreau: Off PUP list, still questionable
The Saints activated Moreau (knee) from the reserve/PUP list Saturday, but he remains questionable for Sunday's contest against the Giants.
The same can be said for fellow TE Taysom Hill (knee), giving both players a chance to make their season debuts Week 5. Moreau himself has been in recovery mode since suffering a knee injury in Week 18 of last season that required surgery and a stint on the PUP list to begin the current campaign. With all of Juwan Johnson (ankle), Hill and Moreau questionable for Sunday's game, the latter's workload is to be determined, assuming he's active.
