Gee Scott: Cut by New England

Foster Moreau TE | NO
Saints' Foster Moreau: Moved to reserve/PUP list
The Saints placed Moreau (knee) on the reserve/PUP list Tuesday, Ross Jackson of WWL Louisiana reports.
Moreau will have to miss at least the first four games of the regular season as he works his way back from an offseason knee procedure. He also missed all of team activities during the spring and summer. The same is true of Taysom Hill (knee), who the Saints also placed on the reserve/PUP list Tuesday, leaving Juwan Johnson with little competition for targets at tight end.

Taysom Hill TE | NO
Saints' Taysom Hill: Placed on reserve/PUP list
The Saints placed Hill (ACL) on the reserve/PUP list Tuesday, Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports.
Hill will be required to miss at least the first four games of the regular season due to his placement on the reserve/PUP list, after which point New Orleans will have the option of opening a 21-day window for him to resume practicing. The transaction is no surprise, given that the 35-year-old is recovering from an ACL tear suffered Week 13 of last season. Both Hill's expected timetable to return, and the role he'll play in new head coach Kellen Moore's offense, remain to be seen. At BetMGM, one of the largest online sports betting sites, the Saints' over-under for wins is only 5.5.

Bryce Pierre TE | CAR
Bryce Pierre: Waived by Panthers
Carolina waived Pierre on Tuesday, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
Pierre spent the offseason with the Panthers, and the undrafted rookie out of UCLA would be a reasonable candidate to resurface on the practice squad if he goes unclaimed on waivers. In his final collegiate season, Pierre suited up for 10 games and logged 10 catches for 94 yards (no touchdowns).

Josh Whyle TE | GB
Josh Whyle: Can't stick with Titans
Tennessee waived Whyle on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Whyle suited up for all 17 regular-season games with the Titans in 2024, securing 28 of 37 targets for 248 yards and one touchdown, but he won't stick with the active roster entering Year 3. Greg Dulcich TE | MIA
Greg Dulcich: Fails to stick with Giants
New York waived Dulcich on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Dulcich put together a productive preseason with the Giants, but he won't stick around on the team's 53-man roster. The 2022 third-round pick could be a candidate to resurface on New York's practice squad. He suited up for four-regular season games with the Broncos last season before being waived. He was then claimed by the Giants, with whom he logged another five regular-season appearances. All 12 targets Dulcich drew last year came during his time with Denver, of which he secured just five for 28 yards.
