Maximilian Mang TE | IND
Maximilian Mang: Fails to make Indy's roster
The Colts waived Mang on Tuesday, Amanda Foster of the team's official site reports.
Mang didn't see a target across two preseason games, and the undrafted rookie out of Syracuse will now go on waivers. Assuming he goes unclaimed, Mang will look to catch on with a team in need of depth at tight end.

Rivaldo Fairweather TE | DAL
Rivaldo Fairweather: Waived by Cowboys
Dallas waived Fairweather on Tuesday.
Fairweather spent the offseason competing for a reserve role with the Cowboys, but he couldn't earn one of limited spots on the initial 53-man roster. The undrafted rookie out of Auburn may be a candidate to pop back up on the practice squad.
-
Shawn Bowman TE | JAC
Shawn Bowman: Cut on cutdown day
The Jaguars waived Bowman on Tuesday.
Bowman originally signed with Jacksonville as an undrafted free agent in April of 2024. He was a member of the team's practice squad all of last season and could end up there again if he clears waivers.
-
Quintin Morris TE | JAC
Quintin Morris: Let loose by Jags
Jacksonville released Morris on Tuesday.
Morris joined the Jaguars on a one-year contract in mid-May, but he wasn't able to make the team's initial 53-man roster. The tight end will likely look for work with another team after spending the past three seasons with Buffalo.
-
Sean McKeon TE | IND
Sean McKeon: Cut by Indianapolis
The Colts released McKeon on Tuesday, Amanda Foster of the team's official site reports.
McKeon inked a futures deal with the Colts in January after spending the entire 2024 season on the team's practice squad. He finished the preseason with two catches on as many targets for eight yards across two games, but his performance throughout training camp wasn't enough for him to crack the 53-man roster. McKeon will likely clear waivers, at which point he could remain in Indianapolis by joining the Colts' practice squad for a second consecutive year.

Mark Redman TE | LAR
Mark Redman: Doesn't make 53-man roster
Redman was waived by the Rams on Tuesday.
Redman, an undrafted rookie out of Louisville, overcame an undisclosed injury at the start of training camp to play in all three of the Rams' preseason games, finishing with five catches (on seven targets) for 41 yards. The Rams opted to go with Terrance Ferguson, Colby Parkinson and Davis Allen as the backup tight ends behind Tyler Higbee, so Redman will explore his next opportunities and try to catch on with a team in need of tight end depth, assuming he clears waivers.
-
Scotty Washington TE | BAL
Scotty Washington: Doesn't make 53-man roster
Baltimore waived Washington on Tuesday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Washington had been competing for a depth role among the Ravens' tight end corps, but he wasn't able to make the team's initial roster. He hasn't logged a regular-season NFL snap since 2022, when he played in one contest for New England without drawing any targets.
-
Cole Turner TE | WAS
Cole Turner: Let go by Washington
The Commanders waived Turner on Tuesday, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.
Turner spent his first two NFL seasons with Washington, recording 13 receptions on 24 targets for 143 yards over 22 regular-season contests. He didn't play at all last year, though, as he spent the entire campaign on the practice squad. He's likely to clear waivers, at which point he'd become a free agent.

Zaire Mitchell-Paden TE | NO
Zaire Mitchell-Paden: Cut by Baltimore
The Ravens waived Mitchell-Paden on Tuesday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Mitchell-Paden has spent the last four years with Cleveland and Baltimore but has yet to appear in a regular-season NFL game. He logged 102 offensive snaps across three preseason contests this summer, catching one pass for 11 yards.

Caleb Lohner TE | DEN
Caleb Lohner: Doesn't make roster
Denver waived Lohner on Tuesday, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports.
The Broncos selected Lohner in the seventh round of April's NFL Draft, but he won't end up making the team's initial 53-man roster. The Utah product is a prime candidate for Denver's practice squad given his intriguing skill set and raw potential.
