Pitts made just two catches on three targets for 35 yards in Sunday's 17-14 win over the Giants.

Pitts showed his big-play ability with a long reception of 25 yards, but the rookie tight end was otherwise not involved much in the passing game. In fact, backup tight end Lee Smith actually scored one of Atlanta's receiving touchdowns, hauling in a one-yarder in the fourth quarter. Through his first three games as a pro, Pitts is yet to find the end zone, but as seen in last week's five-catch, 73-yard performance, the Florida product's upside is something that should keep fantasy owners excited ahead of Week 4's matchup versus Washington.

Engram (calf) is active for Sunday's game against the Falcons, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Engram's season debut was delayed due to a calf injury that he sustained in the Giants' exhibition finale on Aug. 29. He didn't even make it back to the practice field until Monday, but he already was the first tight end in drills as of Wednesday before putting together three limited sessions in a row. On Friday, Engram told Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com that he put together a "great" week of preparation, and he'll indeed ditch his designation Sunday for the first time during the current campaign. With Kenny Golladay (hip) gaining clearance to play through his own health concern, Daniel Jones will be operating with his entire offensive arsenal.

Engram (calf) is expected to make his 2021 debut Sunday afternoon against the Falcons, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.

The tight end never quite progressed to full participation, but he did say Friday that he'd had a "great" week of practice and should be ready for the game Sunday. With Engram out of the lineup the past two weeks, Kyle Rudolph handled 74 percent snap share and seven targets, while Kaden Smith got 47 percent share and two looks. Engram is officially listed as questionable this week, though he can probably be viewed as 'probable' at this point.

The Packers placed Dafney (hip) on injured reserve Saturday.

Dafney has yet to be targeted in the passing game despite playing nearly 40 percent of the Packers' offensive snaps through the first two weeks of the season. Josiah Deguara cleared concussion protocol ahead of Sunday's matchup, but they will still only have three active tight ends against the 49ers. Dafney will miss at least three weeks after being placed on IR, so the Packers may need to make a move to add some depth to their tight end room.

Dafney will sit out for the first time this season. The depth tight end has actually played on close to 40 percent of the Packers' offensive snaps through two weeks despite not being targeted in the passing game, so his absence could be felt in the running game.

Ertz was removed from the reserve/COVID-19 list Saturday, Mike Kaye of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.

Ertz returned to practice Saturday and was removed from the reserve/COVID-19 list only five days after being placed on the aforementioned list. As a result, the veteran tight end is expected to play in Monday night's divisional contest against the Cowboys.

Hudson has been promoted to the Titans' 53-man roster ahead of Sunday's contest against the Colts, Ben Arthur of The Tennessean reports.

With Anthony Firkser (knee) sidelined, Hudson will help provide depth at tight end. Hudson will back up Geoff Swaim and MyCole Pruitt. However, Hudson's primary impact presumably will come on special teams.

Dafney (hip) didn't practice Friday and is considered questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup with the 49ers.

Dafney was added to the injury report Thursday, and his status for Sunday is questionable. Fortunately for the Packers, Josiah Deguara (concussion) was cleared from the injury report, so they will at least have three healthy tight ends with Robert Tonyan, Marcedes Lewis and Deguara active for Sunday's contest against San Francisco.

Deguara (concussion) was a full participant in Friday's practice and doesn't have an injury designation heading into Week 3.

Deguara didn't play in Week 2 and was a limited participant Wednesday and Thursday, but his status took a turn for the better Friday. The 24-year-old shouldn't be on fantasy radars as he has played only five offensive snaps this season, but he may see increased reps in Week 3 if Dominique Dafney (hip) is sidelined.

Fant (ankle) participated fully in practice Friday and is expected to play Sunday against the Jets, Zac Stevens of DNVR Sports reports.

Fant logged a pair of limited sessions to start the week, but his status for Week 3 never really was in doubt. The 2019 first-round pick is looking to make the leap into the upper echelon of pass catchers at the tight end position, and he's off to a solid start, with 10 catches for 95 yards and a touchdown through two games.
