Zack Moss RB | CIN
Colts' Zack Moss: Estimated as non-participant
Moss (forearm) was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's practice estimate.
Moss exited this past Saturday's 30-13 win over the Steelers with what was originally termed a shoulder injury, but the Colts have since clarified that the running back is dealing with an injury to his right forearm. The fourth-year running back notably missed the Colts' Week 1 loss to the Jaguars while recovering from a fracture of the same forearm suffered during training camp, but Indianapolis hasn't indicated that his latest injury to the forearm is nearly as serious. In fact, Moss expressed optimism Monday about his potential availability for Sunday's game against the Falcons. Even if he suits up, however, Moss could be relegated to a backup role behind Jonathan Taylor (thumb), who was listed as a full participant at Wednesday's walkthrough. Taylor missed the past three games but had been getting the majority of backfield reps at Moss's expense prior to having surgery on his thumb.

Najee Harris RB | LAC
Steelers' Najee Harris: Back to full participation
Harris (knee) was a full participant at Wednesday's practice.
Harris' absence from practice Tuesday was just precautionary, as he returned without limitations one day later. He'll once again be the favorite to lead the Pittsburgh backfield in carries Saturday against the Bengals as he usually does, though Harris still cedes a good amount of work to No. 2 option Jaylen Warren, who has logged no fewer than seven carries in any of the past seven games and appears to be Pittsburgh's preferred receiving back. Harris produced a season-high 99 rushing yards on 15 carries when these AFC North rivals faced off in Week 12, but he has just 125 rushing yards on 40 attempts over the subsequent three contests.

Ty Johnson RB | BUF
Bills' Ty Johnson: Remains limited Wednesday
Johnson (shoulder) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday.
Johnson has now been listed as limited on both of the Bills' first two Week 16 practice reports, but he still seemingly has a good chance of suiting up this Saturday versus the Chargers. Assuming Johnson is cleared to play, he and Latavius Murray will work in change-of-pace roles behind lead back James Cook.
-
Travis Homer RB | PIT
Bears' Travis Homer: Tending to hamstring injury
Homer (hamstring) did not participate at practice Wednesday.
It's not clear when he picked up the injury, but Homer's absence from Chicago's first practice of the new week puts his status for Week 16 in jeopardy. He'll likely need to practice Thursday or Friday to give himself a chance to suit up Sunday.
-
Sean Tucker RB | TB
Buccaneers' Sean Tucker: Suits up, fails to play vs. Packers
Tucker was active for Sunday's game against the Packers but didn't play any snaps on offense or special teams in the Buccaneers' 34-20 win.
Tampa Bay made use of just two running backs on the day, with starter Rachaad White playing 81 percent of the snaps and Chase Edmonds taking the field for the remaining 19 percent. With Tampa Bay recently letting Ke'Shawn Vaughn go, Tucker looks secure as the Bucs' No. 3 back, but that role is unlikely to translate into much meaningful playing time or fantasy value while both White and Edmonds are available. For the season, Tucker is averaging a paltry 1.5 yards on 15 carries to go with two catches for nine yards over 11 appearances.

Emanuel Wilson RB | SEA
Packers' Emanuel Wilson: Returns to practice Wednesday
The Packers designated Wilson (shoulder) for return from injured reserve Wednesday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
The transaction opens a 21-day window during which Green Bay can evaluate Wilson for a return to the 53-man roster. He'll resume practicing Wednesday, and if the running back can upgrade to full activity by Friday, he could be a candidate to provide depth behind Aaron Jones (knee) in Sunday's game against Carolina.
-
Rhamondre Stevenson RB | NE
Patriots' Rhamondre Stevenson: Misses another practice
Stevenson (ankle) wasn't spotted at Wednesday's practice, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
Stevenson hasn't practiced or played since spraining his ankle in the Patriots' 6-0 loss to the Chargers on Dec. 3. Ezekiel Elliott has served as New England's lead back for the last two games, and Kevin Harris has been added to the 53-man roster as a depth option after scoring a touchdown in the team's Week 15 loss to the Chiefs. Stevenson will have two more opportunities to return to practice before the Patriots submit their final Week 16 injury report ahead of Sunday's game against the Broncos.
-
Brian Robinson Jr. RB | ATL
Commanders' Brian Robinson: Misses another practice
Robinson (hamstring) sat out practice Wednesday, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.
Robinson didn't practice last week and missed Sunday's 28-20 loss to the Rams, with his absence freeing up more work for Chris Rodriguez and Jonathan Williams (concussion) while Antonio Gibson stayed in his familiar pass-catching role. Another Robinson absence this Sunday against the Jets could work even more in Rodriguez's favor now that Williams is in concussion protocol, though it's also possible the Commanders expand Gibson's role a bit.
-
James Cook RB | BUF
Bills' James Cook: Misses practice Wednesday
Cook isn't practicing Wednesday due to an illness, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.
Cook was a full participant in Tuesday's walk-through workout, but the running back's absence from Wednesday's session makes his status worth tracking ahead of Saturday's game against the Chargers. The Bills will conduct their final practice of the week Thursday, and if Cook is able to participate in some capacity, it would likely clear up most of the concern about his status for the Week 16 contest. Cook is coming off a career-best performance in the Bills' 31-10 win over the Cowboys this past Sunday, when he carried 25 times for 179 yards and a touchdown to go with two catches for 42 yards and another score on three targets.

Gary Brightwell RB | CIN
Giants' Gary Brightwell: Practice window opens Wednesday
Giants head coach Brian Daboll said Wednesday that Brightwell (hamstring) has been designated for return from injured reseve, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
Brightwell has been on IR since Week 7, but he'll return to practice Wednesday and can be added back to the 53-man roster at any point within the next 21 days. The running back carried nine times for 19 yards and recorded five receptions for 47 yards on seven targets in seven appearances this season prior to landing on IR.
