Quinshon Judkins RB | CLE
Browns' Quinshon Judkins: Coach cites significant injury
Coach Kevin Stefanski said that Judkins dislocated his ankle and fractured his fibula in Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Bills, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Per Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer, Judkins is in line to undergo surgery, while the running back is presumably slated to land on IR in the coming days. With his 2025 season over, Judkins will have the offseason to focus on his injury recovery, with a timetable on that front likely to emerge following his upcoming procedure. As for the Browns' backfield plans for the team's final two contests, Dylan Sampson (hand) would be next in line for carries next weekend against the Steelers if he's available after being inactive Sunday, with Trayveon Williams and Raheim Sanders also in the mix to see added work down the stretch. Additionally, Ahmani Marshall is a member of Cleveland's practice squad.

Quinshon Judkins RB | CLE
Browns' Quinshon Judkins: Reportedly sustains broken leg Sunday
Judkins reportedly suffered a broken leg during Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Bills, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Per the report, Judkins is also being evaluated for a knee injury. We'll await further details via the Browns, but it appears as though the rookie back's 2025 season is done. If that's the case, Dylan Sampson (hand) would be next in line for carries, if he's available after being inactive Sunday, with Trayveon Williams and Raheim Sanders also in the backfield mix heading into Cleveland's final two games.

Kaleb Johnson RB | PIT
Steelers' Kaleb Johnson: Sitting out Week 16
Johnson (coach's decision) is a healthy scratch for Sunday's clash against the Lions.
Johnson has been getting very little work on offense with just eight snaps over his past three games. He'll be entirely out of the picture Sunday, representing his fifth missed contest this season. Pittsburgh has just two running backs -- Jaylen Warren and Kenneth Gainwell -- active against Detroit.
-
Kimani Vidal RB | LAC
Chargers' Kimani Vidal: Leaves Sunday's game
Vidal exited Sunday's game against the Cowboys with a neck injury.
Before his exit, Vidal carried five times for 11 yards. While he's sidelined, Hassan Haskins is available to handle complementary RB touches behind Omarion Hampton.

Nick Chubb RB | HOU
Texans' Nick Chubb: Active versus Raiders
Chubb (ribs) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Raiders.
Despite practicing fully both Thursday and Friday, Chubb -- who was inactive in Week 15 -- was deemed questionable for the contest, as was fellow RB Woody Marks (ankle), who was limited Friday. With Marks having been made inactive versus Las Vegas, look for Chubb to have an opportunity to lead Houston's backfield in the absence of any setbacks, while 5-foot-10, 186-pounder Jawhar Jordan -- who was productive while handling added snaps in Week 15 when Chubb was inactive and Marks exited early -- is also in line for an expanded workload, and Dare Ogunbowale is another candidate to mix in.

Woody Marks RB | HOU
Texans' Woody Marks: Inactive Sunday
Marks (ankle) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Raiders.
Marks didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday but was able to return to a limited session Friday before heading into the weekend listed as questionable, a status that fellow RB Nick Chubb (ribs) also carried into the contest. With Marks sidelined and Chubb available versus Las Vegas, look for Chubb to lead Houston's backfield, while 5-foot-10, 186-pounder Jawhar Jordan -- who did well with added snaps in Week 15 when Chubb was inactive and Marks exited early -- is also in line for an expanded workload Sunday and Dare Ogunbowale is on hand to mix in. Per Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston, Marks had planned to play, but the Texans felt it was best to rest their top RB this week, with an eye toward having him available next weekend against the Chargers.

Zamir White RB | LV
Raiders' Zamir White: Not playing Week 16
White (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Texans.
White continues to be a healthy scratch for the Raiders this season, with the fourth-year running back not appearing in a regular-season game since Week 5 against the Colts. His next opportunity to play is Week 17 against the Giants on Sunday, Dec. 28, though he's unlikely to play in that game unless Ashton Jeanty, Raheem Mostert or Dylan Laube were to miss time.

Cody Schrader RB | DEN
Broncos' Cody Schrader: Healthy scratch for Week 16
Schrader (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's tilt against the Jaguars.
Schrader was claimed off waivers by the Broncos on Monday, but he's not going to make his debut with the team Sunday. He's likely to see little, if any, work on a week-to-week basis while RJ Harvey, Jaleel McLaughlin and Tyler Badie are healthy and remain ahead of him on the RB depth chart.

Quinshon Judkins RB | CLE
Browns' Quinshon Judkins: Won't return Sunday
Judkins was carted off the field during Sunday's game against the Bills after sustaining a right leg injury, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Prior to his exit from the contest, which he won't return to, Judkins carried eight times for 22 yards and caught five of his six targets for 29 yards. In his absence, Trayveon Williams and Raheim Sanders are available to handle Cleveland's backfield duties.

Jordan Mason RB | MIN
Vikings' Jordan Mason: Won't return Sunday
Mason (ankle) won't return to Sunday's game against the Giants.
With Mason done for the day, Aaron Jones -- who returned to the contest after hurting his ankle -- and Zavier Scott are available to handle Minnesota's Week 16 backfield duties. Mason will thus target a possible return to action Thursday against the Lions.
