Colts coach Chuck Pagano said Monday running back Dan Herron is out for the rest of the season after an MRI revealed he suffered a torn pectoral. Herron has just five carries for 33 yards in six games.

Redskins running back Roy Helu caught four passes for 34 yards and ran four times for 6 yards in the loss to the Giants. But he failed to score on a goal-line carry in the first quarter.

Helu plays the Chiefs in Week 14.

The Chiefs backup pass-catchers failed to do much Week 13 against the Broncos.

Sean McGrath caught just one pass for 11 yards. He was targeted three times. Cyrus Gray also caught one ball, but picked up just 8 yards. Anthony Sherman caught one pass for 8 yards as well. They'll take on Washington Week 14.

Chiefs backup running back Knile Davis didn't do much on the ground, but made a huge play on special teams Week 13.

Davis carried the ball one time for 20 yards. He also caught two passes for 18 yards. Davis was limited on offense, but had a big play on special teams. Davis returned a kick 108 yards for a score in the second quarter. He'll take on Washinton Week 14. 

Chargers running back Ryan Mathews, who pulled a hamstring his last time out, bounced back with a productive performance as he nearly totaled for 100 yards of offense during Sunday's loss to the Bengals in Week 13.

Mathews caught a short pass from Philip Rivers and turned it up the field for a gain of 17 yards in the second quarter -- his longest gain of the day. He had 14 carries for 61 yards (4.4 yards per carry) and five catches for 31 yards in a 17-10 defeat.

Mathews has rushed for at least 55 yards in four straight games. He'll look to stay productive at home against the Giants in Week 14.

Benched running back Trent Richardson made a modest contribution Sunday to a win for the Colts over Tennessee. He managed 19 yards on five carries.

Wide receiver LaVon Brazill had his best game of the season with three 14-yard receptions for 42 yards. Fullback Stanley Havili added 29 yards on three catches.

After rushing for 100-plus yards his last time out, Rams running back Benny Cunningham took a backseat to Zac Stacy during Sunday's loss to the 49ers in Week 13.

Stacy got the start and the bulk of the carries while Cunningham was relegated to the backup role. He rushed for 16 yards on two carries in a 23-13 defeat.

The Rams will travel to Arizona for a showdown against the Cardinals in Week 14. 

With DeAngelo Williams sidelined by a quadriceps injury and the game well in hand late in the second half, Panthers running back Kenjon Barner, who entered the game with only one carry all season, got five carries Week 13 against the Buccaneers, including four in the fourth quarter. He gained only 6 yards, however.

Falcons running back Jacquizz Rodgers failed to do much with his limited carries Week 13.

Rodgers gained just 12 yards on four carries. He caught his only target, picking up 11 receiving yards. Steven Jackson took the bulk of the rushing load Week 14, so there weren’t many chances for Rodgers to get going. He’ll take on the Packers Week 14.

Vikings rookie wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson came into Week 13 with a receiving touchdown and two kick returns for touchdowns to his resume. He now has his first career rushing touchdown.

In the second quarter of Sunday's 23-20 overtime win vs. Chicago, Patterson lined up at tailback and took a pitch from quarterback Christian Ponder 33 yards for a touchdown on just his fourth career carry. Patterson avoided at least four tackles, breaking two on his way to the end zone.

Patterson finished with two carries for 27 yards, while adding one catch for 4 yards. He was targeted four times.

The Vikings are back in action Week 14 at Baltimore.
