  • Cardinals' Andre Ellington: Could miss games

Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer left the impression that both Ellington (foot) and Chris Johnson (knee) will miss time, according to Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic.

Ellington left Sunday's game against the 49ers with an injury in the same left foot that bothered him for much of last season. The Cardinals have yet to provide a meaningful update, but quarterback Carson Palmer did say that David Johnson and Kerwynn Williams will need to step up.

Cardinals' Chris Johnson: Could miss time with knee injury

Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer left the impression that both Johnson (knee) and Andre Ellington (foot) will miss time, according to Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic.

The Cardinals haven't provided an update, but Palmer did say that David Johnson and Kerwyn Williams need to step up. That doesn't necessarily mean Chris Johnson will miss time, as Palmer isn't a doctor and may have just been assuming that at least one of (Chris) Johnson or Andre Ellington won't be ready for Week 13 against the Rams. If neither running back is ready, David Johnson will likely lead the Arizona backfield, though Williams could also have a large role.

  • Charles Sims RB | TB

Buccaneers' Charles Sims: Produces 39 yards total offense in Week 12 loss

Sims gained eight yards on four carries and secured all three of his targets for 31 yards in Sunday's 25-12 loss to the Colts.

The second-year pro received his fewest carries of the season, in a game in which the Colts leaned heavily on the pass in the second half in an attempt to catch up. Sims' three receptions did equal his second-highest total this season in that category, a number that he's also reached in four other games. The backup tailback will look to generate some production with his carries against a suddenly vulnerable Falcons run defense in Week 13.

  • Doug Martin RB | LV

Buccaneers' Doug Martin: Tallies 97 yards rushing in Week 12

Martin gained 97 yards on 14 rushes and also secured one reception on three targets for one yard in Sunday's 25-12 loss to the Colts.

Martin fell just short of his fourth 100-yard performance of the season, but ran effectively overall for the second consecutive week. The fourth-year pro also broke off an impressively long run for the second straight game, ripping off a 56-yard gain. Martin and the Bucs will take aim at a Falcons defense in Week 13 that surrendered 158 yards rushing and two touchdowns to Adrian Peterson on Sunday.

  • Thomas Rawls RB | JAC

Seahawks' Thomas Rawls: 21 carries for 81 yards and touchdown

Rawls (knee) carried the ball 21 times for 81 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 39-30 win over the Steelers. He had just one target as a pass catcher, failing to come down with the ball.

It's a little disappointing to see Rawls get just 81 yards and one touchdown in a game in which the Seahawks scored nearly 40 points, but he was probably due to come back to earth a bit after last week's 209-yard, two-touchdown explosion against the 49ers. Marshawn Lynch (abdomen) is expected to miss a few more games, at a minimum, so Rawls will continue to see most of the work, as was the case Sunday. Next up for Rawls will be a relatively tough matchup at Minnesota.

  • Shaun Draughn RB | NYG

49ers' Shaun Draughn: 20 touches for 86 yards Sunday

Draughn had 15 carries for 51 yards and caught all five of his targets for 35 yards in Sunday's 19-13 loss to Arizona.

Draughn continues to monopolize the touches in San Francisco's backfield, as no other RB carried the ball Sunday. While he's not making many big plays, the volume is making up for it, and he's been productive as a receiver the last two weeks, catching 13 of 16 targets for 75 yards. He'll have an easier matchup next week at Chicago, although the Bears have played better defensively over the last few games.

  • Matt Jones RB | WAS

Redskins' Matt Jones: Tallies 64 yards against the Giants

Jones rushed for 19 yards on eight carries and added a 45-yard reception in Sunday's win over the Giants.

Jones took a dump off pass late in the closing minutes of the first half and raced up the right side line for a 45-yard gain, setting up a Washington touchdown. The rookie has tallied more total yardage and scores than Alfred Morris thus far this season, but over half of those yards and three of his four scores came in Week 2 and Week 10. Morris has topped 50 total yards in just two of Washington's other nine games. Jones' ability to rip off big plays makes him a potential fantasy stud, but starting him means accepting the risk of the more-than-occassional dud.

  • Cardinals' Andre Ellington: Sustains foot injury

Ellington is questionable to return to Sunday's game at San Francisco due to a left foot injury, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.

Both Ellington and Chris Johnson (left knee, questionable) suffered injuries in the third quarter, which places rookie David Johnson firmly at the top of the depth chart. Because head coach Bruce Arians prefers to use every option at his disposal, though, fellow running back Stepfan Taylor could also receive a few touches down the stretch.

  • Chris Johnson RB | ARI

Cardinals' Chris Johnson: Suffers knee injury

Johnson is questionable to return to Sunday's contest in San Francisco due to a left knee injury, Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic reports.

Two dominoes fell at the top of the Cardinals' running back depth chart, namely Johnson and Andre Ellington (left foot, questionable), in the third quarter. The departures leave rookie David Johnson to handle the bulk of the carries out of the backfield, though Stepfan Taylor could also factor into RB touches.

  • Raiders' Latavius Murray: Stifled by Titans defense

Murray rushed 22 times for 59 yards and caught 1-of-3 targets for 23 yards in Sunday's win over the Titans.

Murray was stifled by Tennessee's impressive run defense, averaging just 2.7 yards per carry. The formerly explosive running back has shown some signs of slowing down in recent weeks, as he hasn't managed to top 4.0 yards per carry in any of the last three weeks after averaging 4.8 over the season's first eight games. Murray has topped two receptions just once in the past six games, so don't expect him to contribute much unless he gets his ground game back on track.
