Thomas Rawls RB | JAC
Seahawks' Thomas Rawls: Inactive Sunday
Rawls (lower leg) is listed as inactive Sunday versus the 49ers, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
As relayed by Adam Schefter of ESPN on Sunday morning, Rawls will miss at least one game in order to tend to a lower leg contusion. With C.J. Prosise (hand) also on the inactive list, Christine Michael is poised to receive a plurality of touches out of the Seahawks' backfield in Week 3.

Damien Williams RB | ARI
Dolphins' Damien Williams: Active for Week 3
Williams is active for Sunday's Week 3 matchup versus the Browns, Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.
Williams will get the call after a Week 2 inactive status and share reserve carries with Jay Ajayi and Isaiah Pead behind designated starter Kenyan Drake against the Browns.
-
Isaiah Pead RB | MIA
Dolphins' Isaiah Pead: Active for Week 3
Pead is active for Sunday's Week 3 matchup versus the Browns, Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald reports.
The fourth-year back stands to see his first playing time of 2016 after flashing enough in preseason to earn a roster spot. Pead is slated to share backup carries with Jay Ajayi and Damien Williams behind designated starter Kenyan Drake.

Thomas Rawls RB | JAC
Seahawks' Thomas Rawls: Slated for inactive status Sunday
Rawls (lower leg) is expected to be inactive Sunday against the 49ers, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
With absences from all three practices this week, Rawls will rest his bruised leg for at least one game, leaving Christine Michael in a prime position to handle the bulk of the RB reps in Week 3, especially with rookie C.J. Prosise (hand) slated to join Rawls on the inactive list.
-
Jonathan Williams RB | WAS
Bills' Jonathan Williams: Ready for first pro carry?
Williams is active for the first time as a pro Sunday against Arizona, ESPN's Mike Rodak reports.
The Bills do have four running backs active and Williams is probably fourth on that list, but with the Bills having a new offensive coordinator in Anthony Lynn (who's a running backs coach by trade) and the season already spinning in a bad direction, there's a chance the rookie could be involved in some plays somewhere along the line.
-
Terrence Magee RB | ATL
Seahawks' Terrence Magee: Signed to 53-man roster
Magee was promoted to the Seahawks' 53-man roster for Sunday's game against the 49ers, ESPN's Sheil Kapadia reports.
Magee will provide depth in Seattle's backfield while Thomas Rawls (lower leg) and C.J. Prosise (hand) may not play due to injuries. Christine Michael figures to benefit the most in terms of fantasy production Week 3.
-
Ronnie Hillman RB | DAL
Vikings' Ronnie Hillman: Inactive against Carolina
Hillman is inactive for Sunday's game against Carolina, ESPN reports.
Hillman signed with Vikings earlier this week after Adrian Peterson's knee injury. It may take him a few weeks before he learns the offense and is active on game days. He could figure into the mix at running back later in the season, however.
-
Jerick McKinnon RB | KC
Vikings' Jerick McKinnon: Not getting start at running back
Matt Asiata is listed as the starting running back for Sunday's game against Carolina, ESPN reports. McKinnon is active and expected to share playing time.
Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer had said earlier in the week that McKinnon would be the starter with Adrian Peterson out with a knee injury. However, it's Asiata that gets the starting nod. Still, Asiata and Jerick McKinnon are expected to split carries
-
Shane Vereen RB | NO
Giants' Shane Vereen: Starting Sunday
Vereen will start at running back for the absent Rashad Jennings (thumb) against the Redskins on Sunday.
A consistent threat as a pass-catching back, Vereen received expanded reps on the ground in Week 2 due to Rashad Jennings' thumb injury. While his 14 carries translated to a measly 42 yards, Vereen is seemingly in line for a three-down workload. If he's able to fend off Orleans Darkwa and rookie Paul Perkins, Vereen could receive 20-plus touches for only the second time in his five-plus seasons as a professional (also, Week 1 of the 2013 campaign).

Matt Asiata RB | DET
Vikings' Matt Asiata: Gets start at running back
Asiata is listed as the starting running back for Sunday's game against Carolina, ESPN reports.
Asiata and Jerick McKinnon are expected to split carries with Adrian Peterson out with a knee injury. It was thought McKinnon would get the majority of snaps, so it's surprising that Asiata would get the start.
