  • Seahawks' Christine Michael: Touchdown reception in win over Jets

Michael gained 58 yards on 18 carries and caught five of six targets for 32 yards and with a touchdown in Sunday's 27-17 win over the Jets.

With Thomas Rawls (ankle) inactive, Michael dominated the backfield touches, ceding only three carries to other runners and ranking second on the team in targets and receptions as well. Michael has averaged 89.5 total yards per game while reaching the end zone three times in the season's first four weeks, and he should carry a heavy load for as long as Rawls remains sidelined, despite the signing of C.J. Spiller earlier this week. Seattle will now enjoy a bye before hosting the Falcons in Week 6.

  • Doug Martin RB | LV

Buccaneers' Doug Martin: Inactive for Week 4 versus Broncos

Martin (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's Week 4 tilt against the Broncos, the team's official site reports.

The Bucs' No. 1 back will miss his second straight contest, but has an outside chance of playing in the Week 5 showdown with the Panthers. Charles Sims and Jacquizz Rodgers will once again serve as the primary ball carriers in Week 4 against a tough Broncos D.

  • Lions' Dwayne Washington: Questionable to return Sunday

Washington suffered an ankle injury during Sunday's game against the Bears and his return is questionable, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Washington's absence for the time being will allow for Theo Riddick and Zach Zenner to see additional reps at running back. The severity of Washington's ankle issue is a bit unclear at this point, but an update should become available upon the release of more information.

  • Thomas Rawls RB | JAC

Seahawks' Thomas Rawls: Out 'another month'

Prior to Sunday's game against the Jets, general manager John Schneider said that Rawls (ankle) "is going to be out another month, or approximately a month," Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times reports.

The Seahawks haven't clarified the nature of Rawls' fibula injury, but he's logging his second DNP in a row Sunday. Another month of rehabilitation will translate to sustained relevance for Christine Michael, who is 11 yards shy of his career high in rushing yards (243) established last year in stints with the Cowboys and Seahawks.

  • Ka'Deem Carey RB | CHI

    Bears' Ka'Deem Carey: Inactive Sunday

Carey (hamstring) is inactive for Sunday's contest against the Lions.

Carey has missed every practice in advance of the last two games due to an injured hamstring. Joining Carey on the sideline is Jeremy Langford (ankle), thereby allowing rookie Jordan Howard unfettered access to touches out of the Bears' backfield.

  • Texans' Jonathan Grimes: Inactive for Week 4 versus Titans

Grimes (ankle) is inactive for the Texans' Week 4 tilt versus the Titans, the team's official site reports.

The reserve running back will reportedly miss at least a month with his injury, providing Alfred Blue and Tyler Ervin unfettered access to the backup tailback touches behind Lamar Miller.

  • Terrance West RB | BAL

Ravens' Terrance West: Presumed starter with Justin Forsett inactive

West is in line to lead the Baltimore backfield with Justin Forsett (coach's decision) landing on the inactive list Sunday afternoon.

West will presumably take on the starting role, while Javorius Allen is set to serve as the backup for the matchup against Oakland. The Raiders are allowing 5.1 yards per carry to opposing backs this season, which is tied with Detroit for the worst in the NFL through three games. If West gets a full workload, the favorable matchup could result in a big fantasy day.

  • Terrance West RB | BAL

    Ravens' Terrance West: Will start

West will start for the Ravens on Sunday against the Raiders, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports.

We'll see how they split carries, but if West sees a starter's workload he's worth a look against what's been a weak defense so far.

  • DuJuan Harris RB | JAC

    DuJuan Harris: Released by 49ers

Harris was released by the 49ers on Saturday.

With the 49ers' tight end corps currently dinged up in advance of Week 4, the team evidently needed Harris' roster spot in order to promote reserve TE Je'Ron Hamm from the practice squad. It's true Harris was buried on the depth chart during his stay in San Francisco, but it's not entirely out of the realm of possibility for him to resurface on another roster before season's end.

  • Doug Martin RB | LV

Buccaneers' Doug Martin: Officially ruled out

Martin (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Denver.

Martin still hasn't returned to practice and could miss time beyond Sunday, though it could help his cause that the Bucs have an extra day to prepare before facing the Panthers on Monday Night Football in Week 5. Charles Sims will draw another start, this time facing a tough Denver defense after handling 68 of the 90 offensive snaps in a Week 3 loss to the Rams. The Broncos have been surprisingly vulnerable to the run this season, and Sims' receiving ability should ensure he stays involved regardless of the score.
