Ka'Deem Carey RB | CHI
Bears' Ka'Deem Carey: Limited in practice Thursday
Carey (hamstring) was limited in practice Thursday.
The running back has been limited the past two days of practice and is questionable for Sunday's tilt with the Jaguars. Rookie Jordan Howard has solidified himself as the new starting running back in a battered Bears' offense, so even if Carey is cleared to play he may find himself receiving less touches than he did at the beginning of the season.

Dwayne Washington RB | DEN
Lions' Dwayne Washington: Works on side field Thursday
Washington (ankle) didn't participate in Thursday's practice but was seen working on a side field, Kyle Meinke of MLive.com reports.
Sidelined since suffering a severe ankle sprain in Week 4, any activity is a step in the right direction for Washington. According to Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site, Washington "looked pretty good" while running and performing drills with the training staff. If he's able to return to practice in some capacity Friday, Washington could be in line for the start at running back due to Theo Riddick's (ankle) pair of absences to start Week 6 prep. However, the Lions do boast two healthy RBs in Zach Zenner and recent addition Justin Forsett at the moment, so they could be called upon if Washington and Riddick are unable to give it a go Sunday against the Rams.

Brandon Bolden RB | LV
Patriots' Brandon Bolden: Remains sidelined
Bolden (knee) did not practice Wednesday.
If Bolden remains out Sunday against the Bengals, D.J. Foster would likely remain in the team's backfield mix this weekend, providing depth behind LeGarrette Blount and James White.

Latavius Murray RB | BUF
Raiders' Latavius Murray: Misses practice
Murray (turf toe) missed practice Wednesday, CSN Bay Area reports.
Murray's absence Wednesday contributes to uncertainty regarding his status for Sunday's game against the Chiefs, though on the plus side, the report notes that the running back has been spotted over the last few days walking without the protective boot he sported last week. Jalen Richard, DeAndre Washington and Jamize Olawale are next up for the Raiders' backfield reps if Murray is out or limited this weekend.

Lions' Dwayne Washington: Misses Wednesday's practice
Washington (ankle) missed Wednesday's practice.
Washington was joined on the sideline by Theo Riddick, who is dealing with an ankle injury himself. The former has already logged one DNP as a result of his issue, but the extent of Riddick's issue is unknown. That aside, there's an expectation that Washington returns to action this week, which could yield yet another iteration of the Lions' backfield. In addition to Riddick, Zach Zenner and recent pickup Justin Forsett could play roles if there is an absent body or two Sunday versus the Rams.

Kenyan Drake RB | GB
Dolphins' Kenyan Drake: Contributes 20 yards against Titans
Drake caught two passes for 16 yards and added another four yards on two carries in Sunday's loss to Tennessee.
The rookie looked like he was carving a niche for himself in Week 3 with an 11-touch game during which he gained 48 yards from scrimmage. He has failed to reach those totals in the last two games combined. There is limited rhyme or reason to Miami's running back stable -- the team does not have a back who has recorded more than one game with double-digit touches this season -- and the situation isn't much clearer with the release of Isaiah Pead and return of Arian Foster.

Shaun Draughn RB | NYG
49ers' Shaun Draughn: Loses yardage against Arizona
Draughn carried the ball twice for a loss of one yard in Thursday's loss to Arizona.
After rushing for 15 yards combined in Weeks 3 and 4, Draughn dug below rock bottom on Thursday. His yardage and carries have gone down each week since Week 2. Meanwhile, Carlos Hyde has topped 20 carries in three of the first five games of the season, and Blaine Gabbert has topped 10 carries in each of the last two games -- a trend Colin Kaepernick is likely to continue. Draughn has further competition with Mike Davis for scraps, making him a non-factor from a fantasy perspective.

Dwayne Washington RB | DEN
Lions' Dwayne Washington: Expected to return for Sunday's game
Washington (ankle) is expected to return for Sunday's game against the Rams, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Washington didn't practice last week and was listed as doubtful on the final injury report, ultimately leaving Zach Zenner to share backfield duties with Theo Riddick. The Lions' recent decision to sign Justin Forsett apparently isn't a negative sign regarding Washington's health, which may suggest that Zenner is in danger of losing his roster spot within the next few weeks. In any case, Washington will likely return to a timeshare with Riddick, health permitting. The rookie's practice status will still be worth monitoring leading up to Sunday's game.
