Harris is expected to hold down a role in the 49ers' backfield Sunday at Arizona, despite the presence of Carlos Hyde (shoulder), Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Since his promotion to the 49ers' 53-man roster in Week 7, Harris has impressed in all realms, racking up 21 carries for 98 yards, seven receptions (on eight targets) for 101 yards, and one touchdown grab in two games. If Hyde is able to approach his previous status as the primary ball carrier, Harris should still hold some utility as a pass catcher, as he's gathered in 20 of 28 career targets across five professional seasons.

Jones is inactive for Sunday's game against the Vikings.

The Redskins are seemingly ready to trust in the one-two punch of Robert Kelley and Chris Thompson out of the backfield, relegating Jones to street clothes in their first game following a Week 9 bye. Jones may require an injury to one of the aforementioned duo in order to get back in the heart and mind of head coach Jay Gruden.

Martin (hamstring) is officially active for Sunday's Week 10 tilt versus the Bears but will be closely monitored in every aspect, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.

Martin will be evaluated closely all the way from pre-game warmups through the moment the clock hits double zeros apparently, as the Bucs will guard as much as possible against a setback. Part of the maintenance will be proper hydration, which already began earlier this week when Martin was seen downing an abundance of water in between drills. How everything plays out in terms of workload in the backfield against the Bears thus appears to be largely dependent on Martin's ongoing condition throughout the game. Peyton Barber and Mike James will also be in uniform and available for as much duty as needed.

Thompson (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's Week 10 tilt with the Saints.

After Thompson failed to log any carries in the Week 9 loss against the Raiders, the Broncos determined that they would be able to get by with only two running backs -- Devontae Booker and Kapri Bibbs -- this week. Fullback Andy Janovich may also see touches as necessary during the game, but assuming the team comes out of Week 10 with no injuries to those three players, Thompson could remain a regular on the inactive list.

Michael was added to the final injury report approximately two hours after it was first released, suggesting he was hurt in Friday's practice. Luckily it sounds like the injury won't keep him out of Sunday's game, but he may need to test the injury in pregame warmps. That scenario may pose a problem for many fantasy owners with a 8:30 pm ET kickoff.

In the carousel that has been the Buccaneers' backfield this season, Martin's presence will be a welcome relief following a six-game absence. After a week in which he built upon the previous day's workload in practice, it remains unclear whether he'll be able to handle a full allotment of reps. Among his competition for snaps are fellow running backs Mike James and Peyton Barber, though, so Martin may be used as the player that the team deemed worthy of a five-year, $35.7 million investment in the offseason.

Grimes (illness) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jaguars, Mark Berman of Fox 26 Houston reports.

Grimes had been listed as questionable despite not practicing this week and it appears he hasn't gotten any better over the past day as he won't so much as travel with the team. As the No. 4 option at running back his absence shouldn't impact the offense greatly.

The Texans promoted Hunt from the practice squad to their active roster Saturday, Mark Berman of Fox reports.

The 23-year-old played in seven games for the Texans last season, including one start. He finished the season with 96 rushing yards on 17 carries, and 49 yards through the air on six receptions. Starting running back Lamar Miller is currently nursing a shoulder issue, and reserve Jonathan Grimes is listed as questionable for the Sunday's matchup with the Jaguars. Hunt figures to provide depth at running back for for the Texans.

Michael was a late addition to Friday's injury report, with the Seahawks listing him as questionable for Sunday's game in New England after he was limited at Friday's practice, John Boyel of The Seattle Times reports.

Added to the final injury report approximately two hours after it was first released, Michael presumably hurt his hamstring at some point during Friday's practice. It's unclear whether he kept practicing after he suffered the injury, as the Seahawks would deem him a limited participant either way. Given the poor timing and the team involved, there's no assurance of further clarity ahead of Sunday's 8:30 p.m. ET kickoff. If Michael can't go, C.J. Prosise and Alex Collins will take over in the backfield, with the former likely having a larger role.
