Ellington (quadriceps) is listed as inactive Sunday against the Rams in London, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

With the Cardinals' bye on tap in Week 8, Ellington will be handed three whole weeks to recover from his bout with an injured quad. None of the team's other running backs are accomplished pass catchers, meaning Adrian Peterson should only leave the field in order to get the occasional breather from Kerwynn Williams and Elijhaa Penny.

Gordon (shoulder) will play Sunday against Denver, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Gordon was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable on the official injury report, but Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn said that the shoulder soreness isn't viewed as a serious issue. Still, fantasy owners should confirm Gordon's Week 7 status before Sunday's 4:25 p.m. EDT kickoff.

Cunningham doesn't have much offensive potential sitting behind Jordan Howard and Tarik Cohen on the depth chart, but he's been used occasionally in pass-catching scenarios. If he can't go Sunday, it won't shake up the Bears' offensive game plan.

The NFL has filed a motion to expedite Elliott's hearing and hopes to get a ruling before the Cowboys' Week 8 game against the Redskins, Kate Hairopoulos of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Elliott previously seemed to be in the clear for Weeks 7 and 8, but there's now some uncertainty regarding the latter contest. In any case, he draws an intriguing matchup Sunday in San Francisco, facing a defense that's been solid against the run but entirely hopeless at defending running backs in the passing game. The Niners have held opposing backs to 3.6 yards per carry and 96 rushing yards per game, but they've also surrendered an average of 7.2 catches for 73.3 yards on 9.7 targets. Elliott accounts for 25 of the Cowboys' 28 running-back targets this season.

Redskins head coach Jay Gruden said Friday that he expects Kelley (ankle) to start in Monday's game against the Eagles.

Gruden also said the team plans to use all of its active running backs throughout the contest, perhaps hinting that Samaje Perine will push Kelley for carries. Chris Thompson's role on passing downs is already well established, with the scatback coming off his highest share of offensive snaps (61 percent) in over a year in Sunday's 26-24 win over the 49ers. Kelley is back at practice this week and seems primed for a return, but the conditions are highly unfavorable for production. The Eagles have surrendered just 3.8 yards per carry and 65.7 rushing yards per game, with both of those numbers getting a major boost due to the Panthers' Cam Newton's big outing on the ground last week. The Chiefs' Kareem Hunt is the only lead back who has produced a decent game against the Eagles this season, a sample that includes Kelley, who was held to 30 yards on 10 carries in Week 1.

West (calf) is listed as out Sunday for the Ravens' Week 7 matchup with the Vikings.

The writing was on the wall for West to miss his second straight game after he failed to practice in any capacity throughout the week. After Sunday's contest, the Ravens have a quick turnaround with a Thursday night game against the Dolphins, so the running back won't have much time to show the coaching staff that he's made enough progress with his injury in his bid to earn an active status for Week 8.
