It's believed that Foreman suffered a torn left Achilles in Sunday's 31-21 win over the Cardinals, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Foreman was carted off the field in the fourth quarter of the contest after carrying 10 times for 65 yards and two touchdowns while adding three catches for 15 yards. Assuming the serious nature of his injury is confirmed Monday, the Texans will likely need to add depth behind starting running back Lamar Miller, given that Alfred Blue is dealing with a hamstring issue and was inactive Sunday.

Foreman has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Cardinals due to an ankle injury.

Foreman was carted off the field at the conclusion of a 34-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter, according to Brian Smith of the Houston Chronicle. Expect the Texans to touch on Foreman's health afterward, whether it's during a media session with head coach Bill O'Brien or otherwise. The Texans backfield could soon be down to Lamar Miller, Jordan Todman and Alfred Blue, the latter of whom was inactive Sunday.

Gillislee is inactive for Sunday's game against the Raiders.

Gillislee will be a healthy scratch for the second consecutive week, which sets the stage for Dion Lewis, Rex Burkhead and James White to head the Patriots' backfield Sunday. Future game plans may lead to Gillislee's power running skills being needed in subsequent weeks, but for now at least, he's the odd man out.

Ellington (coach's decision) is listed as inactive Sunday in Houston, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Head coach Bruce Arians has made Ellington a healthy scratch, allowing Kerwynn Williams, Elijhaa Penny and D.J. Foster to serve as potential change-of-pace options to Adrian Peterson.

West (calf) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Packers.

Though listed as a full participant in practice all week, West was listed as questionable for the contest. That said, his deactivation Sunday may have more to do with the Ravens' game plan than West's health, with Alex Collins in line to continue as the team's lead back on early downs and change-of-pace back Danny Woodhead returning to the team's backfield mix this week.

West is fully recovered from the calf injury that has kept him out for the past month, but he may be a healthy inactive Sunday against the Packers, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

West was a full participant in practice all week, but with Alex Collins playing well after taking over the backfield duties, there appears to be little for West to handle on game days.

The Dolphins promoted Smith to their 53-man roster Saturday, Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald reports.

The Dolphins surprisingly waived starting linebacker Rey Maualuga Saturday, which opened up a roster spot for Smith. The rookie has spent the season on the team's practice squad, and figures to mainly provide special teams help right away.

Williams is expected to lead the Green Bay rushing attack Sunday against the Ravens, Michael Cohen of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

With Aaron Jones (knee) out for multiple games and Ty Montgomery (ribs) unlikely to suit up this week, it's quite possible Williams gets more than a one-game trial as the lead back. The Packers may also use Devante Mays and fullback Aaron Ripkowski in certain situations, in particular on obvious passing downs. Williams is a clear favorite to pace the team in carries, but he didn't show much explosiveness last week against the Bears (3.7 yards per carry) , and he may not have much room to run against a Baltimore defense that has been stout when run-stuffing defensive tackle Brandon Williams has been healthy.

West (calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Green Bay.

West was a full practice participant all week, and it mostly just seems that the Ravens have become enamored with the questionable designation this season. If West ends up inactive for the contest, it would likely have more to do with the game plan than his health, as Alex Collins is expected to continue as the lead back on early downs. West likely is healthy enough to play for the first time since Week 5.

Washington (hip) has been ruled out for Sunday's game in Chicago, Tim Twentyman of the Lions' official site reports.

Used primarily as a short-yardage specialist, Washington has gained only 44 yards on 20 carries this season. Zach Zenner figures to handle the role Sunday in Chicago.
