Ameer Abdullah RB | IND
Colts' Ameer Abdullah: Back to practice squad
Abdullah reverted to the Colts' practice squad Monday.
Abdullah churned out six yards and a touchdown on two carries in Sunday's 40-6 victory over the Raiders, playing five snaps on offense in the contest. Additionally, the running back logged 10 snaps on special teams, recording a tackle in kick coverage. With Tyler Goodson (groin) still banged up, it's possible that Abdullah will be elevated to the active roster again ahead of the Colts' Week 6 matchup with the Cardinals.

Saquon Barkley RB | PHI
Eagles' Saquon Barkley: Expected to play Thursday
Though Barkley (knee) had general soreness coming out of Sunday's 21-17 loss to the Broncos, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that the running back fully expects to play Thursday night against the Giants.
Barkley was notably listed as a non-participant on Monday's practice estimate, but Rapoport's report suggests that the star back isn't in danger of being sidelined Thursday. That said, Barkley's status still is worth monitoring ahead of Week 6 action, with added context on that front slated to arrive via Tuesday's practice report.

Hassan Haskins RB | LAC
Chargers' Hassan Haskins: Could see expanded backfield role
Haskins was on the field for 14 of a possible 67 snaps in Sunday's 27-10 loss to the Commanders en route to carrying five times for 13 yards and catching his only target for two yards.
Meanwhile, fellow backup running back Kimani Vidal also logged 14 snaps, while carrying four times for 18 yards and catching his only target for one yard. However, with Eric Smith of the Chargers' official site relaying Monday that top back Omarion Hampton is in line to be placed on IR and miss at least four games with an ankle injury, Haskins and Vidal both figure to see added touches in that span, with Amar Johnson representing a possible practice-squad elevation. Moreover, the team could add further backfield depth in the coming days, but for now the looming potential for an expanded workload makes Haskins worthy of waiver wire consideration for those in need of RB help ahead of Week 6 action.

Kimani Vidal RB | LAC
Chargers' Kimani Vidal: Could help fill in for Hampton
Vidal reverted to the Chargers' practice squad Monday.
After being elevated for Week 5 Vidal logged 14 snaps in Sunday's 27-10 loss to the Commanders, carrying four times for 18 yards and catching his only target for one yard. Meanwhile, fellow running back Hassan Haskins also logged 14 snaps, carrying five times for 13 yards and catching his only target for two yards. With Eric Smith of the Chargers' official site reporting that top back Omarion Hampton is slated to go on injured reserve and miss at least four games with an ankle injury, Vidal and Haskins both are expected to see added touches in the weeks to come. The Chargers could also look to add backfield depth in the coming days, but in the meantime, the looming possibility of an expanded workload makes Vidal -- who appears destined for either another elevation or an active roster spot Week 6 -- a worthy waiver-wire target for those in need of help at running back.

Saquon Barkley RB | PHI
Eagles' Saquon Barkley: Estimated as DNP with knee injury
Barkley was estimated as a non-participant on Monday's practice report due to a knee injury, Zach Berman of The Athletic reports.
This is a new health concern for Barkley, who is making his first appearance on the injury report all season. In Sunday's loss to the Broncos, Barkley set season lows in playing time (72 percent of the offensive snaps), carries (six) and rushing yards (30). He's been held to fewer than 50 rushing yards in three straight contests and has yet to hit 100 yards on the ground in a game this season. If Barkley is unable to play Thursday night against the Giants, the Eagles would lean on AJ Dillon, Will Shipley and perhaps Tank Bigsby out of the backfield.

Omarion Hampton RB | LAC
Chargers' Omarion Hampton: Will be placed on injured reserve
Coach Jim Harbaugh said Monday that Hampton (ankle) will be placed on injured reserve in the coming days, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports.
It's another crushing blow to the Chargers offense after the team already lost Najee Harris to a season-ending torn Achilles in Week 3. On top of the backfield injuries, Justin Herbert has been running for his proverbial life behind Los Angeles' swinging gate offensive line that is without starting LT Rashawn Slater (kneecap) for the season while right tackle-turned-left tackle Joe Alt (ankle) is week-to-week. With Hampton on the shelf for at least the next four games, the Chargers will be down to Hassan Haskins and practice-squad RBs Kimani Vidal and Amar Johnson in the backfield.

Zonovan Knight RB | ARI
Cardinals' Bam Knight: Garners five touches in Week 5
Knight recorded four carries for 11 yards and one touchdown, hauled in his only target for 13 yards and racked up 90 yards on four kick returns during Sunday's 22-21 loss to the Titans.
With James Conner (foot) out for the season and Trey Benson (knee) on injured reserve, the Cardinals have had to completely reset their backfield. Michael Carter paced the group Sunday with 23 touches for 73 yards from scrimmage and one rushing touchdown on a 57 percent snap share, while Emari Demercado (three carries for 81 yards, 28 percent) and Knight (five touches,16 percent) mixed in behind him. Knight actually earned a touch before Demercado in Week 5, and the latter's fumble through the end zone on a would-be 72-yard TD run in a disastrous fourth quarter for Arizona could result in a demotion. If that comes to pass, Knight is positioned to bump up to No. 2 on the RB depth chart behind Carter this coming Sunday at Indianapolis.

Josh Williams RB | TB
Buccaneers' Josh Williams: Serves as kickoff returner in win
Williams returned five kickoffs for 129 yards in the Buccaneers' 38-35 win over the Seahawks on Sunday.
With Sean Tucker moving into the No. 2 running back role Sunday as part of the domino effect of the absence of Bucky Irving (foot/shoulder), Williams had an opportunity to move into the kickoff-returner role and handled it with success. Williams even got in for two snaps on offense but didn't log any touches in what was his first game with active status this season. The undrafted LSU product remains at the bottom of the running back depth chart, but he could reprise his special-teams duties Week 6 against the 49ers since Irving is expected to remain out for that contest.

Tyrone Tracy Jr. RB | NYG
Giants' Tyrone Tracy: Estimated as limited Monday
Tracy (shoulder) was estimated as a limited participant on Monday's practice report, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Tracy returned to practice last Friday and appears to be nearing a return after missing the Giants' past two contests following his shoulder injury Week 3 against the Chiefs. During Tracy's absence, Cam Skattebo has started each of the last two games and has totaled 40-138-0 rushing and 8-56-0 on nine targets out of the backfield. Skattebo lost a critical fumble at the goal line in Sunday's loss to the Saints and hasn't shown enough to slam the door on Tracy regaining his role as the team's RB1 upon his return.

Raheem Blackshear RB | NYJ
Raheem Blackshear: Finds work in Pittsburgh
Blackshear signed with the Steelers' practice squad Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Blackshear was dropped by the Panthers with an injury settlement in late August and spent time with the Titans' practice squad in late September. However, he's since found a new home in Pittsburgh and could be elevated for the Week 6 matchup against the Browns if Jaylen Warren (knee) is unable to return.
